Tane Naoki stumbled down the path towards the biggest city he had scene in days. Iwagakure, the village hidden in the rocks. Tane took another swig from his dwindling supply of sake and laughed, "Heha! I will have more of you very soon." He spoke to the gourd for the seventh time that day alone. He was unaware of any defenses that he might be crossing, being totally focused on watching the sun move across the sky.

Adamaru was stumbling through the shrubbery. He must have passed out here last night after his trip to the bars. He looked up and winced as the sun hit his eyes. "Ow my head." He put his hand over his eyes and stupidly stopped watching where he was going. He continued walking out from behind a tree and right on course for Tane who was walking to the village. If anyone didn't catch it they would walk right into each other.

It happened. They walked right into each other, the drunk and the hungover, meeting together for the first time in history. Tane was knocked flat on his back by the force, rolling head over heels as he tried to figure out why the world was spinning even faster. Finally he stopped and laid there, looking at his sake bottle and said, "This is the best stuff that I've ever had." He tried in vain to remember where he got it.

Adamaru hit the ground face down and laid there with his hands in his hair. "Ow ow ow, i'll never drink again." He said rolling over seeing the drunk man. As a jounin he should help him up but his head was pounding with the sound of war drums and he wasn't going to really do any big moving. "Sir," He called out. "Are you alright?" Every word was a punch to the back of the head. (Oh god please be dead and don't talk) He thought to himself. He could only be so lucky.

Tane heard the voice of the other man and looked up, seeing someone else lying on the ground. He jumped up and walked and unsteadily knelt to the ground, "Of course I'm alright, but how much of this did you have?" He shook the sake gourd at the guy. "Doesn't it just knock your socks off?" He took another sip waiting for the world to spin

"I got drunk at the bar in the village." He said. Slowly getting to his feet. The bags under his eyes heavy and prominent from the night of drinking. "What brings you to the hidden rock village?" He finally got settled on his feet. He walked over to the man to help him up. As it was with each word each step was drawn out and felt like it was squeezing his head in. He held out his hand to the man. "Lemme help ya up."

Tane smiled at the hand to help him from his knelt position and said, "No need, I'sh can do it." And with that he spun on his feet upwards, with his staff of Gaia in one hand and the sake gourd with the other one. "I am come...to...drink." He said simply, taking a long draw from the gourd

"Oh!" He said his hungover obviously slowing him mentally. "Well you came to the right place my friend." He motioned for him to follow him. "Iwagakure has an outstanding bar selection. I'm actually headed there now." He needed to get rid of this hangover anyway and a praire oyster would do just the trick. he turned and said. "ya coming?"

Tane looked at the man and his heart quickened at the prospect of more sake. He jumped up, and without realizing it, began running away from the city, thinking in his drunken stupor he was running towards it.

Adamaru picked up a rock and threw it at the back of Tane's head. "My friend!" He said as the rock left his hand. "The bar is in the village."
