Syn awoke on the beaten carriage that helped him and Avaron into the Land of Fire. He let out a near slient yawn as he hopped out and looked around the trees and vegetation that they stopped in. Hm...our country base should be somewhere
Syn reaches his hand back into the carriage to nudge Avaron to wake with him. He was glad as ever that he could finally free up some of his movement, allowing him to finally begin his operations. Syn began to trek along without Avaron. "Come along, dear...time's a-wastin..."

Slowly sitting up and blinking, Avaron's eyes traced over the tree line. She seemed a bit fascinated at first, but completely forgot about it as she rolled out of the carriage and stood up. She nodded softly to Syn, but looked agitated as he said 'dear'.
After zoning out, snapping back, and rushing to catch up with Syn; A- murmured, "How many do we have so far..?"

"Aside from us, we have two possible links so far....still smaller than I'd hoped we'd begin with...", Syn said with a sigh. He looked up into the sky as he continued. "Now that we are near the location of our base are, we can start planning out for first operation in Konohagakure...with them too busy playing cat and mouse with the Akatsuki, stealing from them will be like teaching basic academy jutsu...", he said with a light chuckle. "I'll be needing you for our initial planning if you don't mind, Avaron..."

Avaron pouted a bit at his words, knowing her would say that eventually. "Yeah-yeah... I already know..." She muttered as she threw a kunai up into the sky. Looking back over at Syn, she continued, "Do we even have a place for our base yet?" Taking a step back, her kunai hit the ground in front of her and bounced a bit. "Damn, it was at an angle..." She muttered to herself.

"Here..." Syn stopped suddenly at an open space in the forest, kneeling down to reveal a hatch door covered in the dirt and decay of the wildlife. He let himself in and waved his hand, prompting Avaron to follow.

Avaron blinked at the hatch door and mumbled, "I expect something a bit more extravagant; knowing you... but good job~" She happily caught the door and skipped in. Once inside, she squinted at the darkness. Turning in the direction that she assumed to be Syn, she spoke softly, "Please tell me you remembered lights..."

The lights flickerd on, revealing a large room with a huge round table, a few beds, and framed paintings surrounding the walls. Syn came to sit down and prompted Avaron to follow. "Well, now that we're here, let's brainstorm..."

Avaron blinked for a moment and got a displeased look. "Can I make this place more homely...?" She murmured softly before following and sitting down next to him. "When are the others going to arrive?"

"I gave them the option to take care of any buisiness if they joined in late, so it may take a while...", he said, taking a cup of tea and giving one to Avaron. "Are there any suggestions or ideas that you might like to share, Avaron...?",, he said with a sigh.

Avaron tilted her chair back and rested her heels on the edge of the table. "Well, on the way in I had let you sleep while I watched and took notes of the surroundings. Our best bet is to use someone with earth jutsus as our main defense. The ninja of this area are too use to the trees and will probably use them to their advantage. We will also need a lot of genjutsu illusions to steer them off course." She murmured. Suddenly she let the chair fall forward and as her heels dug into the ground, she spat out with an agitated look, "It's too depressing in here!"
