The sun was rising on the village of Konohagakure, and Shishi Uchiha was there to watch it. He sat on the top of the Hokage faces, much larger than before, with the addition of Danzou and Naruto on them. The village remained leaderless. Shishi thought that was incredibly dumb, and he even offered to be the 8th Hokage. Him, a fresh Genin straight out of the Academy. It wasn't his dream or anything to be a Kage, but he did think it would be nice. Sighing, he leaned back, laying on the third's head. He looked up, the light of the coming dawn reflecting off of his forehead protector.
He was at peace. It was these times he enjoyed most. The ones where he could kick back, relax, and not have to worry about problems that life held. But something did bother him. When would he be paired up with a team? He knew the war had caused many Jounin to be away from the village, some have even died. But still, they couldn't leave him as a genin forever. Or could they?

Konoha, the perfect place to start. The front against Akatsuki had always been here. They were the first village to respond to the Akatsuki Menace, and they were the ones to get rid of most of the original Akatsuki. Taakuin was sitting on the top of the Hokage Mountain, overlooking his beloved Konoha, but the one place he was banned from being. He needed recruits though, and another powerful ninja from here would be well on the way to creating his orginization against the Akatsuki menace, and the new organization rising from their shadow. He slowly took a draw from his pipe before stowing it away. He stood up and carefully jumped off the mountain, flying down in front of the third Hokage's face, towards the village. He would do this or die trying.

Shishi sat up, thinking. He mainly thought about his clan. All he knew was that an Uchiha, he didn't know the name, slaughtered the Uchiha clan 20 or so years ago. But it was slowly coming back. Apparently a few survived, like his parents. They were lost in the battle against the Akatsuki though. He was without a parent. He didn't have a mentoring figure in his life, and he trained alone. He has no idea of the vengeful, dark past of the Uchiha clan.
He began to stand up. He usually wakes up right before dawn, watches the sun rise, and then goes to train all day. He wanted to become strong. The best. He wanted to be the strongest shinobi of all time. Standing, he looked out over the village. It was such a large village. All of a sudden, someone dropped down in front of him! Hurtled downwards past the third's face! He activated his incomplete Sharingan and leaped down after him. "Hey! You!" He yelled to the man.

They joy of falling welled in Taakuin's gut, amazing him that even at his fifty years old the life of a ninja could still make him feel giddy as a child. He couldn't hear the young Uchiha above him, and continued on down, timing his fall just right, he activated his Mandarian Jutsu, fire bursting out of the bottom of his cloak, slowing his fall till he could land on his own two feet easily. He surveyed the area, wondering where to start first. Began walking slowly around, knowing the need to be unseen

Apparently the man didn't hear him, or he was ignoring him. Shishi would soon find out. He hit the ground hard, landing in a roll. He was never leaping from the Hokage faces ever again. That was just too much. He composed himself and began to run after the man who was a few yards ahead of him. Once he got within a few feet he yelled again. "Hey!" Sure, Shishi was only a genin and it wasn't his job to make people identify themselves knowing they could be some jounin from another village and kill him instantly, but he did it anyways, for some stupid reason.
He stood straight up, in a defensive stance, facing the man. His Sharingan burned brightly.

Taakuin heard the boy now and turned around slowly, wondering how he could have gotten caught already. But when he turned around and just saw a young Uchiha, he let out a sigh of relief. He bowed his head slightly and said, "Wonderful day isn't it?" He liked chatting, and someone who had been in the village a while could tell him who the best ninja were. He needed a guide

Shishi cocked his head in confusion and dropped his defensive stance, still keeping his Sharingan active. He didn't trust this man. He didn't have a vest or anything. Shishi responded to his comment harshly. "Identify yourself! " He liked feeling important, and this was no different. The man looked old. If he was a shinobi there was a good chance he was pretty strong. Probably beat Shishi quickly. But maybe not kill. Shishi might get away before that happened. All he had to do would shoot a flame into the air and activate his first gate of life and run like hell. The jounin would immediately come to back him up. He hoped.

Kura was strolling just bellow the Hokage faces after stuffing her grateful face with Ichiraku ramen.Thoughts of who her team mates and sensei were going to be raced through her mind constantly. When she slept, when she didn't sleep, when she trained, she just wanted to be accepted even if she was kind of an outsider. Kura came upon two people, one slightly tall, with black hair, and the other was an old guy. She didn't recognize either, and the younger one had seemed to be standing in a defensive position. Kura, out of curiosity, then wanted to spy, just to be an eavesdropper. Kura formed a hand sign and a puff of smoked appeared. She transformed into a slightly large house cat, with blue eyes and a butter scotch coat. Kura padded over to where the younger one was, which she knew was from the village due to the head band, and awkwardly and randomly sat next to the boy with the black hair. She knew she was going to get a what-the-hell kind of reaction. ((hope you don't mind if i join, i figure the more the merrier! and i have been DYING to rp))

Taakuin put his hands up in a submissive gesture and said, "Its so good to see you children take such and interest in the village's security," He looked pointedly at the cat, able to sense her chakra a little, due to his extensive training in that area. He wasn't a powerful chakra sensor, but he had forced himself to learn some because of his dangerous fighting style. But he didn't point her out to the other ninja. Instead he said, "Don't worry little Uchiha, I'm not here to cause trouble, but instead prevent it." He pulled out his old Konoha head band from his pocket and showed it to him, hoping that he wouldn't read too much into the large slash through it, a memento from when he left during the reign of Hokage Naruto, receiving that for wanting to save Konoha by leaving again.

Shishi watched the man carefully some shinobi lure you in with a false sense of security before they attack. Shishi thought that was plain wrong. Sure, a shinobi's mission is deception, but Shishi's ninja way is to fight all out first, then do sneaky things later. That ninja way made people think he was arrogant. He wasn't. Not at all. Out of the corner of his eye, Shishi saw the bushes move, and almost threw a kunai into them, until he saw a cat walk out. It didn't surprise him, there were many stray cats and dogs in Konoha. It came over to him, and he deactivated his Sharingan. It looked friendly enough, so he gingerly picked it up and began scratching the cat behind its ears. He never took his eyes off of the man.
Shishi ignored the man's comment, he wasn't going to give the satisfaction of a reply. When the man called him little he got ticked. He didn't like being called small. His eyes opened as the sun gleamed off of the headband. 'was he a ninja here?' He also wondered about that cut. It looked vaguely familiar.
