Sora was appalled at her lack of interest. He did not know whether to reprimand her or not. Technically, she was his senpai, but officially, he was her superior. He was confused. Sora didn't even notice she put her arm around him until it was already done. "Where are you....Oh. Yeah. I can have a drink or two." He said smiling.

Having the awkward vibes start to come back- Anko's arm left him and her hands returned to her pockets. It took a while to walk back into town and as she got deeper into thought- Anko got a bit of a serious, yet blank look on her face. Stopping suddenly, she turned to him, "Why aren't you out fighting still?" She asked kind of flatly. Almost ever ninja in his rank was out fighting right then.

He looked at her, confused when she asked the question. "Because I recently submitted my application for the position of Hokage. I'm not going to go out and get myself killed now before I hear back, am I?" He looked up, and spoke without looking at her. "Ever since I can remember....I have always wanted to protect the village and its people. Even at the cost of my own life. I would gladly die for Konoha and its people. This I am sure of. And I can do that best by being Hokage."

Anko nodded lightly and a soft smile spread across her lips. "...Sounds a lot like someone I use to know would say..." She then let out a small laugh and looked back over at Sora, "Just not as hot-headed..." Anko fell silent for a little while, her mind full of memories. She seemed to grimace a bit and then started walking back. Forcing a smile on her face, she murmured, "Do you have a certain place you prefer?"

Sora knew who she was talking about. Their previous Hokage, Naruto Uzumaki. It had been his dream, and he was Hokage for almost eight years before he was killed in battle. The kyuubi rests in another genin of Konoha currently. He was brought out of his thoughts by her question. "Not really, I don't drink that often."

Anko looked at him like he was crazy and then just shook her head. Soon they came up to a small shop. Gently moving the current out of her way- she walked over to a booth and sat down. Slumping a bit she called out to the waiter for some asahi.

For Sora there was always something magical about bars and taverns. Maybe the people in them was what it was. A rowdy sort. A few ninja relaxing gave him a nod of their head. Some tried to hide their drinks, him being a superior and all. He put up a hand and said "Don't mind me, stopped in for a drink." He smiled, and sat down across from Anko. He ordered a bottle of Sake for the both of them.

Anko's asahi got there just a bit before the sake and she drank it in one chug. Setting the bottle down on the table with a content sigh, she glanced at some of the guys staring over at them. She gave them a harsh look and they turned away.

Maru Maru had just taken Kakashi to his former student Sakura Haruno, the best Medical ninja in the village since the death of Tsunade. He was severely wounded from his fight with Madara Uchiha, who had shown more techniques in that one fight than he ever had. It was lucky that Maru had been called into the fight to save his life at the right moment. He was sent out by Sakura to inform the new and only candidate for Hokage that his services were required. Sora Toyotomi, famous Jounin of the village and after the last placement, the strongest. He knew that he had been searching for him for hours, his breath becoming ragged, but he finally ran into where he was at a tavern and jumped in quickly, overturning a table and jumping on the one that Sora was sitting at, across from Anko. He still had his mask on and he looked him right in the face, saying, "There's an emergency, there is a meeting in the Kage's Office in five minutes, and you are the guest of honor." HE jumped up and out the door again, going to warn more of the Jounin.

Sora looked at Anko, about to say something, but was interrupted by the door slamming open. He looked at the door and saw an ANBU running at him, flipping over a table and landing on his. His eyes were wide when he was told there was an emergency/ 'What on earth....' He looked to Anko and asked, "Would you like to join me?"
