The First Day [Kitters and Tane]

Taakuin chuckled and let his voice carry, "A shinobi who jumps into negotiations with someone who might consider him an enemy is a fool indeed Hokage, and I might add..." He jumped out of the trees, in a flurry of power and grace, landing on his knee with one fist on the ground, bowing deeply to his new Hokage, "If I had been hiding, you wouldn't have noticed me Hokage-Sama." He kept his position on the ground, looking down, in a symbol of reverence and complete obedience.

Maru reacted like the other two, whirling to where Sora had been looking and flinched as Taakuin jumped out of the trees. He pulled out his blade from his back and positioned himself in front of Sora. He recognized Taakuin Suuta almost right away, the famous S-ranked criminal from Konoha, who had at one time worked for Akatsuki, and had attacked this village multiple times. And then seemed to turn around right after capture and help Konoha, claiming before he had been mentally unstable, and then leave the village again? He was not popular at all. Maru ground his heels in and said nothing, prepared to defend his Hokage.

Sora looked at the man intently. 'Who was he...?' He didn't take any form of stance, but kept his guard up. To the untrained eye it would seem his guard was lowered. "Who is this guy?" Sora whispered to Maru in a volume that only Maru could hear. His chakra level was strong. At the bare minimum he was A Ranked, in all likelihood he was S Ranked. Which would prove difficult, but he already began to plan for this. Turning to Anko and hiding his lips from view he said "Go some jounin. Have them hide in the forest to the best of their abilities and come out when I give the signal" He said this in such a tone that he would be unheard by anyone except for Anko.

Anko snarled a bit. She recognized the damn traitor and wanted to stay and kick his ass, but did as Sora said. Quickly turning, she jumped into the trees and started toward town.

Maru said out loud so that Taakuin could even hear, "Taakuin Suuta, S-ranked missing nin from Konoha who nearly thirty-five years ago left the village in order to work under the Akatsuki as the person who would attack the villages alone, and he was good at it." He turned his head slightly, "He mauraded for fifteen years before he was defeated in the valley of the end and imprisoned. He claims mental instability and multiple personalities as the reason for his wickedness. But after his imprisonment he helped us to fend off a mist village attack by pretending to work with them from the inside and using them to get out before defeating the Mizukage. He then left the village again, claiming that he needed to atone for his sins but hokage naruto tried to stop him, but was unable to." He glared at taakuin. "He hasn't been heard from since."

Taakuin flinched at the accusation in maru's voice. "It is true, I had another personality who drove me to do things. I just want to help. But I need your help Hokage." He paused.

'So he was around during the Sandaime's time. He left during the war....' He thought to himself, and immediately the thoughts of deserter flashed through his mind. Anger swelled up in him, but he quickly silenced it. He would not allow his emotions to dictate who he was. 'The jounin should be here in another five minutes or so.' He decided to speak. "Give me a reason why I should not fight you here and now. For all I know you could still be working with the Akatsuki, and helping us before might have been a ploy to gain some trust."

Taakuin shrugged his shoulders and stood up, "Well, Hokage, if I had wanted to gain trust, then I would have stuck around. I need Shinobi to help me take down the Akatsuki right now, and I have a plan." He stood there, giving a speech about a coalition of Shinobi, two from every village, to go and take down the Akatsuki. "You see, if we allow every village to participate, then we will have more peace because there won't be any animosity between any villages, saying that they were never allowed to participate in the removal of Akatsuki." He then pulled out a Scroll. "In my travels I have gathered some pretty vital information, like the fact that someone within Akatsuki, more than likely Madara, is bringing together another group of S-ranked Shinobi like before, only a few less, from what I can gather, there could be five to seven, and they are going by the alias of, Sin, I believe." He tossed the scroll to Maru, saying, "And Hokage, the reason that you shouldn't fight me here and now is because I would prefer not to die." He meant that if attacked by the Hokage, this time he wouldn't fight back, but instead, let himself be destroyed before retaining the label of a traitor.

Maru deftly caught the scroll and turned to Hokage, "Let me check for any traps." He held his breath and slowly peeled it open, extending it to a good length, "Hokage, it's safe." He handed the scroll over to him.

Sora listened to what the man had to say intently. This group did not concern him. They would eventually fall, one by one. History repeats itself. He was irked when he asked for Shinobi. "Well, I can not lend you any of my ninja. We are low as it is. We need every ninja available. I cannot help you with your request." He hated to say it, but that was what it was. His eyes darted to the trees for a split second and he thought 'They're here. If he attacks, he'll be dead in an instant.' In reality it was only 2 or 3 jounin, but still. It meant defeat. He grabbed the scroll and read it carefully.


RIASHI:((Closing his ramen thread))

Riashi was hiding in the woods next to his Senpai, Anko Mitarashi. He was hearing everything Lord Hokage and this missing nin had to say. He was interested. He loved to fight, and when Hokage-sama said they could not participate, he leaped from the trees, landed next to the Hokage with a knee down and his fist touching the ground. "Lord Hokage! Allow me to join this mission for destroying the Akatsuki!"

Maru had read a good amount of the scroll before handing it over and realized that this might be a good idea. Not only that, but it would be a chance to do multiple things. When the other Jounin begged Hokage to join, Maru said in a low voice so that only the Hokage could hear, "Lord Hokage, I think it would be wise to really consider the implications of this. First off, we get a chance we've never had before to keep an eye on an extremely dangerous Missing Nin, learn his secrets and find out if he really is a danger as many think he is. Also, in working with all of the other villages, it does two fold. First off, we get to observe them and learn some of their secrets, and also, like he has pointed out, if we even have just a few ninja who are willing to work together, it can put us on the path to world peace." He was also thinking of what it could do for him. Taakuin Suuta was a master of Fire Element techniques, and if Maru could convince him to teach him a thing or two, Maru could be on his way to becoming more powerful. "Hokage, he says he only needs two, so allow me and Riashi to go with him, and we can and will report to you every week his actions."

Taakuin rose to full height and let the other two convince Hokage. If all else failed, he could just get more people like Riashi who would join on a whim, and then leave the village like he had, and bring back the heads of Akatsuki as proof and a way to get back in without a problem. He just needed their fire power.

Sora looked at them both carefully. Two of his A Ranked jounin want to go on this mission. That would be two less ninja that Konoha had, and Sora knew Riashi personally, they grew up together. He was one of the strongest of the Inuzuka Clan, and Sora was thinking about putting him on the council. He sighed and rubbed his forehead. 'Why am I the one to make all of these important decisions?!' He smiled and said carefully, "I will permit you going Riashi, and Maru Maru, the only way I will allow you to go is if you change into a Konoha ninja vest and lose the ANBU outfit.

Riashi bowed to the Hokage. "Thank you sir!" He said, flashing a friendly smile at the Hokage. Sure, he was Hokage, but they had known eachother since the academy.

Anko had followed after Riashi and listened to their words- although her eyes never left Taakuin. "And what are you to do if Taakuin goes against us again, Hokage-sama?" She murmured before turning to look at him. "You said so yourself; we are in need of more shinobis of our own."
