The Perfect Hide Out

Kakuzu looked over at the new Jashinist that walked over to him."Don't tell me your a part of that emo cult, are you?" Kakuzu's question was answered at the sight of the necklace dangling fron his neck. He turned back to Tobi."So, not awakened yet? Lemme guess, I am pared with this one until he wakes up?" Kakuzu said in a slightly annoyed voice, he couldn't take it any more, he needed to punch something...so in the blink of an eye, he was at one end of the cave and smashed it with his right arm, leaving a two-inch-deep hole.

"Hey, watch where your punching!" Kisame appeared at the entrance, taking off his hat. "So, your alive and kicking, eh?" Kakuzu gave Kisame an I-am-going-to-beat-the-crap-out-of-you-but-won't-because-the-boss-is-in-the-room look. Kisame laughed and walked up to Tobi."Anything interesting for today, hmm?" Kisame sat on a nearby rock.

((Chikai isn't immortal. He didn't go through the ritual that Hidan did to make him so. Likely doesn't even know the ritual. He just has a high pain tolerance, a deep understanding of human limitations, and other tricks up his sleeve.))

Chikai's eyebrow twitched at the referrence to Jashinism as an 'Emo Cult', but he held his tongue, having known of Kakuzu's Atheist attitude from the writings about Prophet Hidan in his Book of Jashin, which he'd pilfered from the corpse of the dead cultist who had in his own way converted Chikai. He had decided to ignore this as best he could, and respect him as Hidan's aid. "I do not know what Tobi's plans are for you or I in terms of working together, but so long as the path runs red with offerings to Lord Jashin, I might as well be anywhere." He barely looked at Kisame as he entered, rather tilting his head at the sudden display of aggression at the cave wall.

((I see. Alright. Puts a new twist on the whole Jashin idea.))

Tobi looked to all three of them. "I am not sure I informed you. Chikai here is a member of Zaiaku.(Sin) He fills the spot of Gluttony, and regrettably does not get a partner, as nobody in Zaiaku does." He paused for a moment, considering only Kisame really has seen a taste of his power, and him for that matter, he would not reveal who he was to the Zaiaku just yet.((The Zaiaku have yet to know that Tobi is Madara Uchiha))

He looked to Chikai, now speaking to him directly. "I see you hold Hidan in a high regard. Once he has been Awoken, you will have plenty of time to discuss your 'religion' in depth. I never did believe in that sort of thing to begin with."

"If you don't mind me asking, I'll accompany Kakuzu for the mean time. I should be able to handle myself." Kisame smiled intently to himself. He stood up slowly and walked over to Kakuzu, preparing to block any attack that kakuzu where to throw at him, knowing Kakuzu, he probably would be attacked at least once..."Is that all right with, Mr.Stitches? Kukukukuku..." Kisame chuckled like a child, and stared at Kakuzu, he was one of the only people Kisame could see just barely eye-to-eye.

Kakuzu's blood boiled at the thought, but he knew Kisame was one of the stronger members."Fine, but only for a little while!" Kakuzu re-adjusted his arm and pushed Chikai out of his way forcibly shoving him to the ground, then Kakuzu stepped over him and stood in front of Tobi."So, Is there anything that could occupy us for now? I am dieing to kill..." A slow, steady heart beat quickly turned to a loud fast-paced one that even Kisame could hear.

Chikai, distracted by the thought of actually meeting High Prophet Hidan, was surprised to find himself shoved. He could have maintained his posture, and even countered the shove with his own force, and would have with any other person, as his taijutsu was actually quite developed. Still, he remained at odds with the fact that this was Hidan's old partner, and that he should pay the man no disrespect. Thus, he hit the ground. Still, the man's atheistic attitude and his bold persistance in making Chikai seem small and weak were chipping away at his stature. Too much more, and he would begin to treat Kazuku as any other who dared treat him in such a way... that is to say, offer him up to Jashin. For now, however, he bit his tongue. Standing and brushing the dirt from his rear, he cast his view on Tobi. "Oy, and me as well. Jashin requires blood, and if I'm not sent to kill someone, I'll have to go find people myself."

Tobi began to laugh, a deep, ominous laugh at the member's antics. 'The Zaiaku think they are already stronger than the Akatsuki. They do not know that most of them cannot die even if they wanted to.' He looked between all of them and snapped his fingers, as 15 of his chuunin builders flickered downwards. "I think....these will provide some sustenance. It won't be as easy as you think." He snapped his fingers again, signaling that they could defend themselves if attacked. He would like to see a battle. The last time he fought...he killed two ANBU and almost took care of Kakashi Hatake, if it wasn't for the ANBU who saved him.

[Taka Genai]

"Oy, Tobi... These guys won't please Jashin! They're much too weak... Oh well, oh well. At least there's a few of them. Maybe together they'll be one competent offering." He reached back, gripping the handles of the enormous meat hooks crossed at his back. "My blood to Jashin!" he cried to the heavens, violently ripping the hooks straight through his already injured skin. As the blood ran down his back again, a smile of ecstasy played across his face, his eyes closed to savor the pain. Finally he opened them again, looking at the Chuunin. "And yours will run next!" Suddenly, Chikai was across the room with blinding speed, behind one of the Chuunin. He swung both hooks inward in a pincer motion, attempting to stab him all the way through his torso from both sides.

Kakuzu watched the eager jashinist cut at the chunnin, and felt a bit of bad nostalgia, he hated Hidan's scythe, sometimes he had to stand on his other side in case the blades accidentally pierced him...But at the same time, Kakuzu was already in front of a shocked chunnin."RRRRAAAAA!!!" Kakuzu shoved his palm into his chest, and flung him at two other chunnin, stealing a kunai from his pocket. One went down with him, one dodged and ran straight for Kakuzu. "Worst choice..." Kakuzu stepped to the side and, when the chunnin got close enough, he simply held out his kunai and sliced his head clean off, and as it fell, he twirled and smacked the head with his foot at the head of yet another chunnin, who in turn broke his nose and fell to the ground, his head covered in blood, but it was hard to tell which one's blood it was. Kakuzu slowly walked over to him and extended his arm out to him. "Feel my hate!" In the blink of an eye, three threads hardened to a point and shot from Kakuzu's sleeve to the chunnin's chest. He turned slowly to the other chunnin.

Kisame was interested at the sudden, random brawl, but he preferred to stay on the sidelines."oi, Kakuzu, why don't you try to be a bit more...creative?" Kisame chuckled as Kakuzu responded by kicked a chunnin's head at Kisame, who kicked another chunnin in his way so as to intercept the severed head."Very quick to attack, hmm?" Kisame laughed a bit more, and stood up. "I guess I could use a work out..." He noticed he had three chunnin surrounding him, and he quickly took action. He swung his blade from it's resting place on his back to the left side of a chunnin, where it stuck in by it's scales, and he violently ripped it out, taking a decent chunk out with it. He snapped his sword to the ground and back up, throwing the blood from his blade. A foolish chunnin rushed up to kisame and attempted to make a vertical cut at his head, but Kisame was one step ahead of the soon-to-be-dead ninja and kicked him square in the chest, he flew backwards and scrape-bounced on the ground twice, then fell, giving no signs of standing back up. He turned to the last one, which fired some kind of water-ball-shaped technique at him. "OOH, very bad move!" Kisame formed a few seals and inserted his own chakra into the water, over-riding the ninja's justsu, and forming the glob into a shark that fire back at the chunnin and ripped one of his arms off, when he tried to get back up, Kisame threw-actully THREW-Samehada at the unlucky ninja and it tore through him. Kisame shinshun'd to it and caught it by the handle in mid air. "This wasn't much of a warm up..."

"Oy-oy-oy-oy-OY!" Chikai yelled in aggrivation, cleaving the Chuunin in half by ripping the hooks embedded in his lower and upper torso in opposite directions. "This blood belongs to Jashin! The two of you are disgracing him by stealing away his spoils! This is my meat to tear for His offering!" One by one, he stepped on the halves of the corpse and tore the hooks from the flesh, spilling the blood across the ground. "Back off, or you'll be His sacrifice in their stead!" He raised the hooks in front of him threateningly. "Tobi, call these dogs down unless you want Akatsuki to be down two members!"

HAHAHAHA! This ingrate was threatening HIM! He had fought Hidan before and beaten him without flinching, did this kid think he could actually defeat him in battle? He was eager to test him, but knew he would probably get a lecture from Tobi for doing so, so he refrained. "What'd you say? I'll rip your heart out and make you watch as I crush it in front of your slowly dieing body!" He had really pumped himself up and was actually held to his spot by his own Threads, they would give-way at any moment, but Kakuzu really wished they would...

heheheheheh, he had never really seen this kid before, and he was already being challenged by him? Kisame felt he did have a significant amount of chakra, but Kisame's chakra pool reigned over even Kakuzu. Kisame walked over to him and looked down on him."You wanna put your money where your mouth is, pipsqueak?" Kisame laughed under his breath and tightened his grip on Samehada.
