Although his head still ached, his body knew what to do. As soon as the massive stream of water jettisoned from Sen's mouth, he jumped, high above it pulled out three kunai, all with exploding tags on the. He threw them at Sen, right where he expected his head to be and landed on a higher tree branch, looking for Yuina, hoping she hadn't been hit.
Sen saw the exploding tags and laughed with joy. He redirected the stream and shot them away, soaking the paper so it couldn't be used again. He had lost track of Maru, but Yuina was right within sight. He chuckled but didn't say anything. He tightened his grip on his two weapons and jumped across the gulf, his blades aimed at her.
Maru saw too late what was going to happen, he jumped down to intervene, just seconds away from them both. He aimed a kick at Sen's head, and felt it connect, and knocked the man away a second time.

Yuina was surprised Maru was able to fight so well in his current condition, but she didn't think much about it. She was much more distracted by the powerful ninja she was trying to defend herself against. Once her light eyes finally discovered the position of Maru, she was able to focus more on the other. She could sense the chakra coming off of him, and it was much more than she sensed with other people. Not even Maru had as much.
Noticing Sen coming towards her, Yuina put her blades in front of her and bade them to have enough chakra built up. Right as she prepared to jump at the other, Maru's foot collided with him. Watching, Yuina looked over at Maru, "You promise to be all right?" finally understanding how dangerous the situation was, she knew she had to get to Konoha. That was the only way she could save them both.

He drained the last of his water and tossed the flute away, flipping his kunai around on his left index finger and his tonto with his right, he looked at her and said, "I'll have to be if I want to live." And then handed her his mask, saying, "Give this to the person at the gate to make them believe you." With out waiting he careened down to the forest floor where Sen was picking himself up.
((I'll let you do something before I do a massive RP with them against each other))

Yuina nodded, watching as the empty container fell to the ground. She felt a ping of pain; after all, it was a nice flute of water. Shaking her head, she smiled at Maru, "You can do it. I believe in you." taking the mask, she nodded again, "Don't worry about me. I'll get them to come" with a bit of a singsongy tone, Yuina quickly jumped off from branch to branch, going as quickly as possible to the village. She was glad they had made it so close, or else she didn't know if she would have been able to get there in time.
((All right. I'll make the epic post of her getting them the next time.))

Maru flipped down, landing soundly in front of Sen. "Just leave now Sen Go, and we'll be good." He knew it wouldn't work, there was a reason they sent this man after him. Sen Go, wielder of the rumored last blade of Muramasa, Baka-Yaru, didn't fight for glory, he didn't fight for honor, he fought for fun. He was an honorary member of the Hunter-nin squad who always had four ninja behind him to clean up his mess. Maru knew that if he could locate those other ninja, they would be forced to assist him in the fight, because Sen would attack them regardless. His head was still pounding, so he couldn't even concentrate. He swayed slightly as Sen looked at him with his steady eyes. Sen said,
"What is wrong with you?
Have you had a drink or two?
My prey cannot be,
Handicapped before the first
Of my swings before of me."
He faked left then right, and attacked Maru head on with all of his strength, a blow the smaller ninja was barely able to block, connecting and thrusting it to the side to avoid being slashed. He backed up and kept his eyes on Sen, knowing his famous poetry lines were just distractions. He crouched low to the ground and ran in, sholdering the taller man in the gut, straight on, knocking the air out of him. Sen flipped backwards, laughing the whole time. He charged in, swinging madly, making Maru dodge, and run backwards, unable to predict the wild movements. He dodged under, trying to take out a leg with his ninjato, but only recieved a slash on his back for his troubles. He scurried up a tree, whispering, "Hurry, hes more than I can handle right now"

Yuina quickly jumped from branch to branch, her heart beating in her throat. She knew Maru was in danger. The one time she was actually thinking, and it wasn't good. A jonin against a missing nin... She shook her head and continued on. The small girl constantly looked aorund, for a sign of any ninja at all. If she could just find one, she could send him to go assist Maru. And then she wouldn't be as afraid. But of course it wouldn't happen. Things never happened the way someone would want them too. Yuina just hoped that Maru had some idea to keep himself alive. The girl would never be able to survive if she knew it was his fault he was killed.
Arriving at the village gate ten time faster than she ever had before, Yuina stood in front of the guards, panting. She pulled the mask of out her pouch and whispered, "Please... Help..." Falling to her knees, the girl began to cry slightly. She couldn't help it; she was scared.

Working at the village gate was never very exciting work, according the the young man currently resting at the desk. Rarely did someone come and attack them, or anything interesting in the slightest. Yawning slightly, he jumped as a small blond girl suddenly appeared in front of him. Grabbing the mask from her, her looked at it in horror. It was Maru's mask. Coming to the realization of danger, Chiki grabbed the girls arm, "C'mon. We have to go." he had no sympathy when someone's life was on the line, especially someone like Maru's.

The fight was not faring well. Within just a few minutes, Sen Go had already knocked down trees with his powerful water ninjutsu, and Maru had basically just been hopping around, trying to stay out of the way. He had been able to surprise Sen and burn his shoulder, but stopping that man with a puny technique like that was literally like trying to stop a tidal wave with a toothpick. His arms were becoming heavy as he jumped from the tree and sped along the still water that had been starting to appear, making Maru realize that Sen had selected the perfect place to fight him in, a small place between two hills that made a perfect place for a pool of water. He jumped over Sen and flipped, barely able to cut him with his attack. He needed to pick up his speed, but he still wasn't 100% from his fight with Tane. One A-Class Missing Nin, and now an S-class hunter nin in one day, its just not my day. He spun around and encountered Sen standing still laughing. Which wasn't a good sign.
"I think it is time
To scare the shit out of you,
So come meet my sword,
The one who taught me to dance,
The only BAKA-YARO!!"
And with that he reached down and picked up his massive blade, swinging it by the chain that connected the end, he advanced on Maru, moving faster than what should have been possible with the massive blade. "Shit," Was all Maru said as he avoided the first attack.

Yuina and the other ninja hurried back to where Maru was. Of course the blonde didn't remember exactly where she was going, so her heightened senses helped. Locating the two strongest chakras, she wiped the last of the tears from her eyes and spoke, "It's this way." Turning her body ever-so-slightly, she continued on as fast as her body would take her. Of course she was running out of energy, but she wouldn't give up.
Chiki was surprised the small girl cared so much to save someone he barely knew, and she probably didn't. "Who is he fighting?" he asked as they turned. Yuina was silent for a moment, thinking, "A strong ninja... Sen?" Chiki's eyes went wide, and he knew they had to hurry. Slowly but surely, the chakras were getting stronger to him as well. Shaking his head, he knew he should have called back up. Fighting a missing nin with a Suna girl and a tired jonin would not be easy.

Maru was beginning to get the hang of fighting Sen. He was powerful, but the fact of the matter was that he was limited in his swings when he had the sword, so Maru was getting adept at jumping over the sword and taking a slice out of him. It didn't come without risks. The first time he tried to use the sword as a station to jump from, but the second he did his mind was overpowered by an evil chakra deep in the blade, contained within every ounce of steel inside. He felt his mind become muddled and tripped, and fell, receiving a swift kick to the ribs, surely bruising them, if not breaking them. He was now tired, had a headache, and couldn't hardly breath. But Sen wasn't faring better. He was cut up, unable to use his left arm, his back and chest had slices all over it, and he was breathing heavy now also. They stood still, both of them knew they were at an impasse. "You...aren't...much...better...off...lets...call...it...quits..." Maru gasped, trying to gather his thoughts. Sen smiled and just shook his head, knowing no words would do the situation justice. He swung the blade above his head and stabbed it in the water, the chakra inside of it keeping it buoyant he brushed his hair back. Was that technique worth it?

Yuina quickly jumped to the next branch before glancing at her compainion. She needed to make sure the other was still following her. The blonde was hurrying, as she didn't want Maru to die. Death was something she couldn't deal with, no matter how spacy she was. Every few seconds she felt her heart pound, afraid for what was happening to Maru.
"Don't worry." Chiki smiled as she jumped alongside Yuina, "Maru is trong. He can last for a while."
Yuina nodded, sensing the chakra was insanely close. Stopping, landed on the branch from before. Below her was Maru, who didn't look to well. Jumping down, she landed next to him, "Are you okay?" looking over, her eyes widened. Sen was going to do something bad, and she knew.
Chiki landed next to Yuina on the branch and looked at the situation. Spotting Sen, she leaped off and aimed to kick him. She couldn't allow anyone to die. It wasn't something she could do. Langing in front of Sen a moment later, she glared at him, "Leave us, Sen Go. Now."
