Maru's breath began to grow ragged as he yelled, "Just run, we have to get away." He was scared more than anything in his life. All the work to become ANBU and he couldn't even hold his own against any enemy. He grit his teeth in frustration.

Yuina was already tired from her previous run all the way to Konoha and back, but she couldn't imagine how terrible Maru was feeling. After all, he had just fought in multiple battles and was still speeding ahead of her and the other ninja. "All right!" she lightly shouted back to him. Quickening her pace, Yuina hurried to run next to Maru. No matter how spacey she was, the blonde could tell he was upset.
Chiki sped herself up as well, ending up on the other side of Maru, "Don't worry. Very few ninja can hold their own against someone as strong as him. You did well, especially through all those injuries." attempting to cheer him up, she smiled.

Maru shook his head and said, "There's no way I held my own till you were there to help, lets just get to the village and then this will all be over." He was scared for his life at this point.

Yuina shook her head and looked at Maru, "You did great..." she told him. If it had been her, Sen would have killed her in a second. Looking around again, Yuina watched as they shot past many things that would have normally caught her interest. It was surprising that she had stayed focused for so long.
"She's right," Chiki said, "If you hadn't have been there, this little girl would be dead." she motioned to Yuina, who turned at the motion of her name. "Now let's get home."

Maru shook his head, if he hadn't been there, she would have never been in danger from anyone. Sen had been chasing him.

Yuina frowned, "You saved me, kay? Thanks." she smiled a bit and looked over at Chiki as well, trying to keep calm as they hurried back, "Thanks to you as well."
Chiki smiled, "No problem." looking to Maru, she shook her head. Sure, she knew many ninja were hard on themselves. She just didn't realize how badly some of them did.

Maru landed in the pathway denoting the entrance to the village. "I trust that you can take it from here guys? Right? I've got to report directly to my supervisor." He took Yuina's hand and said, "I'm sorry." And with that, he had disappeared.

Chiki nodded as they were finally back at the village, "Of course. I'll take Yuina to the hospital..." she wanted to make sure the small girl was all right mentally more than physically, really.
Yuina smiled, "Of course... I'll be with her." she allowed Maru to take her hand, her head tilted. Shaking her head, she spoke as he left, "Don't worry, it wasn't your fault." a moment later she looked at Chiki and the two took off, ready to rest up.
