Kitru smiled as he and Tsubasa approached the leaf. He quickly led her inside and once they approached the street, he stopped and looked at her. "Welcome to the Leaf. Ever been here before? The sakura blossoms are still falling." He put an arm around her and pulled her close, looking at the faintly-lit streets. It was quiet, yet very home-like to the Yuuhi male.

Tsubasa watched in wonder as they approached the large village. She had always wanted to visit, and now she finally was, "I never have. It's beautiful..." she told Kitru, a smile spread across her face. As the brunette watched a few blossoms fall, she was entranced. A giggle escaped her as Kitru held her, and she liked it, "So, where are we going?" Tsubasa really wanted to explore the entire village, but that would have to happen another day.

"I want to take you to Ichiraku's. He's an old guy who owns an awesome Ramen stand. Come on, I'll show you around a little first. I think you will love it here.." He kissed her cheek and took her hand in his as they approached the small bridge. He stepped on it silently, then stood near the edge, looking out the window. He motioned toward it. "I love how the moon makes the water glow like that." He smiled and glanced at her a little, then stepped back, heading for the old man's stand.
He was used to being alone... this was a great change.

"Ramen? That sounds great." Tsubasa smiled. She certainly was hungry. After all, she hadn't eaten much the past day. Blushing a bit, the brunette followed Kitru onto the bridge. It certainly seemed like a nice place. Looking over the edge, she smiled, "This is such an amazing place... We have nothing like this back in Suna. It's beautiful." watching the water move, she kept a small smile across her face, "It's so cool..." grabbing hold of his hand again, Tsubasa watched as they walked past everything in the village. It was certainly a nice place.

"It's lovely at night. I don't like coming out during the day, but it's lovely when the moon is just barely there. Have you ever smelled a sakura blossom?" He stepped near a tree and pulled off a single blossom, handing it to her. He watched her gently, hoping she would like it. "This is my favorite time of year."

"Everything seems more beautiful at night." Tsubasa nodded, a smile on her lips. She loved the outdoors at any time, really. But nighttime was especially amazing. Shaking her head, she responded, "No, I never have." watching as Kitru took a sakura off the tree, she took it. It smelled very good. Smiling, she nodded, "I like it."

"I'm glad. Come on, ol' Ichiraku's is close now. He's got the best ramen around." He chuckled at her, and then looked up. A petal feel on his nose, and he blinked a few times in surprise. He blew gently, making it going into the air before he looked at Tsubasa. His eyes were gentle. "You know... I haven't been this excite about my village for years."

"I'm coming, I'm coming." Tsubasa said lightly, a laugh passing through her lips, "This ramen better live up to what you say it is." she added, smiling. Looking over at him, she burst into laughter. The petal on his nose made him look ridiculous. Calming down, the brunette tilted her head, "Really? That's kinda sad. I love my village to bits; everything is exciting to me. Well, most things are." she smiled. So he was excited because she was there? That was great.

Her laugh made him chuckle, the sound a deep and sweet noise that slipped through his lips just like a curse or a blessing. Well, it was safe to say he wasn't going to curse her or himself! Her words made him smirk. "Believe me... it's amazing." Her didn't see a reason why burst into laughter, but when he blew the small petal away, he looked over with a soft smile. He shook his head faintly at her. "Well... I can't really say I have complete love for a village that people just either stare at me or they ignore it. The other nin are a little intrigued, but never really say much... Did you know? How I am, albino...? That there's actually the opposite happens in nature too? The creature is a lot darker than usual, and the numbers are really low... I think it was about one out of every two thousand animals... it's probably higher than that, actually." He shrugged a little, then smiled.
His smile faded when his nose caught a scent he didn't know, nor did he like. His face went serious, and he slit his thumb, kneeling down as he let his blood touch the dirt ground. A small poof, and a little white wolf with red eyes and paws looked at him. He smiled and rubbed it's head. "Hey, Chibi... do me a quick favor. Check 'round for me? I thought I heard someone in the trees." He stood back up, watching as the puppy started sniffing, quickly following a scent. He looked back at her with a smile. It was shown he loved this village more than he was really saying. Anything out of place made him wary, and after all he'd been through, he wasn't going to put up with any bullshit. "... Around here, I consider this place my home, even if a lot of people would rather see me leave." He offered his hand. "Come on, let's go to Ichiraku's. I promise, you're safe with me."

Tsubasa smiled as she heard Kitru chuckled. He seemed like he wasn't normally so... Happy. At least he was happy now, the brunette thought to herself, her smile not leaving just yet. "It better be." she threatened, a bit of a giggle still in her voice. She wasn't exactly sure as to why she found it so funny, but it was. The way Kitru reacted to it, she assumed. Biting her lip, she nodded. The brunette had gone through a lot of dislike as well, but not nearly as not as he had. "You have to have a little bit of love for it. Everyone does, no matter how much they try to hide it. At least, in my opinion." she looked down at her feet, walking slowly next to Kitru, "I think... I think being albino makes you more beautiful." she said quickly. Truely, it was how she thought. Kitru was different, and it was amazing. Tsubasa hated normal people, who never followed their own paths. Keeping her eyes down, she shook her head lightly for no reason. She watched the path they walked on, worn from the villager crossing it so much.
Slowly, Tsubasa looked up as Kitru stopped. Turning to face him, she jumped as he slit his thumb, "Kitru! What the hell are you doing?" she asked as he kneeled down, a wolf appearing. The brunette stared in wonder, completely confused. Thoughts were shooting through her head as she looked around, not feeling any differently. The girl frowned as Kitru looked back at her, "What was that for?" she asked again. The brunette could tell he really did love his village, if he aimed to protect it so quickly. She took his hand softly, a smile slowly reappearing, "I know I am."
