Yamato, dressed in his traditional Konoha vest, pants, and sandals, sat outside the village gates, waiting for them to arrive. They were on a B ranked mission to capture a missing-nin with many secrets. His threat level was low, but the reports indicated he was a master of escape. Yamato was quickly planning on how to deal with someone who was an escape artist. The reports also mention he deals with plants and plant type jutsu, using seeds. That's all the report mentioned. He refused to sit down and rest for them, as his patience was beginning to grow thin. That was always like Kakashi-Senpai, he was always late. Yamato wasn't even sure how Kakashi conned him into heading the mission.
He looked up and heard the gates open. 'Finally, they have arrived.' But it wasn't them. It was just a four man cell of chuunin, off on a mission of their own. He had heard that this chuunin on his squad, Moegi, had basic medical skills. Those would definitely come in handy. He continued to wait as the sun began to sink lower and lower and the sky, darker.

Moegi scrambled through the village, accidentally colliding into many of the villagers. "Sorry!" She called back. "I'm sorry! I have to hurry!" In her arms was her kunai pouch, a couple scrolls, and her hip pouch. As she ran and hopped, she tried frantically to gear up as she went. As she was hopping on one leg, trying to put on her kunai pouch, she noticed a boy about her age gazing at her dumbfounded. "WHAT?" She asked, then looked down to see that her skirt was lifted slightly as her leg was held up. Furious, she ran over, punching him in the head. "HENTAI!" she called, storming off as he lay unconscious in a broken fence. Somehow she managed to get geared up, slipping the scrolls into her hip pouch. She couldn't believe she'd let this happen. She was going to be on a mission with Yamato-sensei and Kakashi-sensei, two of the coolest ninja in the village, and she was LATE. Somehow, she'd slept in through her alarm, and had to tear through the village to try to make up for lost time. Finally, she saw Yamato-sensei at the gates.
"Yamato-sensei! I'm here!" She called. "I'm so sorry, I got here as quickly as I could, and I'm really sorry I'm late, but I'm ready to go now and... Wait..." She stopped, huffing and looking around. "Where's Kakashi-sensei? I thought I was late. Did something happen to him? Is he back in the hospital?" She looked panicked. She admired Kakashi as a great ninja.

Kakashi stood at the rock which held several ninja's names, the heroes of Konoha. Obito, Rin, and one of the newest entries, Naruto Uzumaki, another in his long list of failures. He should have just gone with him. He shouldn't have listened to the mission that took him away from his student. Even if he and naruto both been killed by Akatsuki then he wouldn't have to live with this. He looked up at the sky and realized he was very late to the mission. Capture Tane Naoki was their edict. Seemed easy enough, though information on him was skimpy. There was bounty, so he had to be important. He looked around once before silently disappearing.
He went across the whole village, moving slowly as to not agrivate the still healing wounds on his body from Madara's new jutsu. He appeared on the tall gate wall, looking down at the two. "Are we ready? You're all late." Ignoreing the fact he was too0

Yamato saw the gates opening once more, and almost begged for it to be Kakashi and Moegi, and it looked like this time someone was listening as Moegi bursted through, out of breath and obviously panicked. He stared Moegi in the eyes and gave her his Fear Face. It did only ever work on Naruto, but he thought to try it here. "Why are you late?" He said with the Fear Face and the creepy voice. He quickly got out of it and looked up. Kakashi....Yamato knew where he was. It was where he always was. "I am...sure that he is fine."
Asking Kakashi on a mission was realizing that you would be late, because he always looks at the memorial before a meeting. He looked up at the voice and said, "Kakashi Senpai! I knew you'd come."

As Yamato's Fear Face reared up, she cowered slightly, feeling as though someone placed a weight on her chest. "G-g-g-gomenosai..." she muttered, sweating. She tried to recover her composure, and continued. "There is no excuse sir. I won't let it happen again." She sighed as he diverted his attention to Kakashi's whereabouts. "I really hope so..." she said, still worried.
Thankfully, Kakashi soon appeared, and began to walk ahead of them without warning. "Yes sir, Kakashi-sensei! I apologize for my tardiness, I won't let you down further!" she proclaimed, also ignoring his own lateness. She was glad she wasn't the only one. If she'd gotten here after Kakashi did... then there would be no reconciliation for her tardiness. No one was later than Kakashi.

Kakashi smiled at them both and said, "Has another been chosen to acompany us?" It was odd for a three man cell be taken out a mission that required someone to be captured. "Personally I wouldn't mind having old Shikamaru by my side in something like this." He thought back to the time that the young Chuunin had taken down Heidan by himself. Priceless. He looked to Yamato and waited to hear the verdict. It was always the leader's responsibility to brief his soilders on what they were supposed to do.

Yamato looked to Moegi. "It is fine. Kakashi was late after all. Konoha has grown lazy in my opinion." He said with a stern smile. He looked at Kakashi, and began to answer his question. "Sorry, Kakashi-Senpai. No other ninja are available at the moment for a mission, so it is us three." He waited until Kakashi jumped down to say his next bit. "Our target is Tane Naoki. He is at least A ranked from our intel, but he has been deemed to be not a threat. He is a master of escape though." Yamato paused, trying to bring the memory of the file back. "He carries valuable Otogakure secrets, and has a bounty of 100,000 ryo on his head, dead or alive."

Moegi listened carefully to the briefing, shuddering slightly at the surname 'Naoki'. She didn't know a lot about the clan, but since they were known as medical ninja, she'd caught bits and pieces of information. Apparently they were a pretty ruthless bunch. Still, Yamato and Kakashi were here with her, and she trusted their skills almost as much as Tsunade's. It was odd that this particular Naoki would be deemed not to be a threat, though. "A master of escape? Who is it that has posted this bounty against him?" As the information came, she made mental notes of it all and reminded herself to record it in scrolls at the first convenience. She liked to keep records of things to stay organized and ready at all times.

OOC: Tane, you punk. Now I gotta make a fail post.
Yamato nodded. "A master of escape. Apparently he has been attacked numerous times, but always manages to escape, and the one who placed the bounty was Minoru Naoki. We have no other information besides he is from Otogakure." Yamato began to walk towards the forest. "Shall we go?"
