No one really knew what was on the strange blonde's head at any given time. They just knew that she didn't tend to stay focused for longer than three minutes before something would completely distract her. So when she didn't show up at the Greenhouse on time like normal, no one cared. They knew she would appear at some point in the day. She always did. For all they knew she was wandering through the largely deserted area outside of their village, following whatever creature she laid her eyes on first. That was normally her reason for not showing up. Even the girls own mother didn't go out in search of her daughter. She learned a long time ago of how pointless that was.
And their guesses were true. Yuina, like always, was walking around the large open area just outside of her village, following a butterfly. Butterflies were her favorite creatures because of the designs on their wings. Yuina sometimes wished she was a butterfly, so that she could fly around and travel everywhere. But, of course, she knew how weird that would be. Being a ninja, she already knew what it was like to be in the sky. However, she would still dream of it.
As she hopped around, following the small creature, she couldn't help but softly sing to herself, a song she created herself once. It was something she liked to do, even if she didn't always know she was doing it. It was a habit of Yuina's really. Looking around, she realized the butterfly was flying out of her reach, and sighed. Standing still, she waited for something else to come by.

Just past the large open area outside of town was a small path. It was overgrown and full of random pot holes because it had been neglected for so many years. Back when the village was just blooming, it was a path to a little rice farm.
Slowly maneuvering along the path, Chokichi was lost in thought. He had been sent to this village to deliver a message from a higher up- although it was probably just little chatter as always.
Suddenly Chokichi stopped and glanced up at the sky. He watched as the clouds rolled by, but soon noticed a butterfly drift past him. He blinked for a moment, a bit unsure if it really was one. He hadn't really seen one expect in some books. With that thought, he let out a soft sigh. 'God, I keep making myself sound like a locked inside loser...' Chokichi let out a soft "tch" and continued on.
Soon coming to a bend in the path, he noticed that he was on the outside of a large open patch. He smiled lightly, but kept walking. Even thought the letter was probably just chatter, it was still priority.
Almost to the village, he stopped again. Surprised he hadn't seen her before- Chokichi looked over at the girl. She was almost on the other side of the patch of land, but he was a bit baffled by her apparel. Knowing he should keep going, but completely puzzled; Chokichi just stood there.

Yuina didn't really know where she was, but she didn't care. As long as she was doing something she loved, the location wouldn't matter. Unless, of course, it was a scary place. No way would she go to one of those. She continued to walk down the small path, and every so ofter she would trip over a pot hole in the ground. Of course, she wasn't wearing any shoes, so it hurt her feet even more. But occasionally the ground was soft, and she'd be happy again. Yuina followed the butterfly closely, loving its beauty. She didn't know how rare butterflies were, but she understood that about others of her favorite bugs.
As she continued to sing her little song, Yuina never noticed the boy walking the path. Of course, she wasn't always walking on it. She liked walking through the old farms, where the dirt was soft and squishy. She didn't understand how the dirt was still there, as the wind was always strong, and it never rained. According to her mother, there used to be ninjas who could control water, and helped take care of the plants. Smiling to herself, she reached up to grab her flying companion.
Of course, at that exact moment, the clouds had to uncover the sun, blinding Yuina for a moment. She squealed, her eyes shut tight. Squatting down, she rubbed them, blinking a few times. She adjusted her outfit slightly, a short skirt and a poofy sleeeved shirt. Her ninja sandals were tied around her waist using an extra string, and her blades were next to them. Never would Yuina leave her house without her blades. She stayed on the ground, her eyes still a bit sore from the sun.

Chokichi saw the girl reach for the butterfly and jumped a bit at her squeal. Snapping out of his weird little trance- he immediately turned and continued walking.
It hadn't took long for Chokichi to drop of the letter and he was once again coming back to the path. Stopping by the large open area, he looked around. He didn't see that one girl from before and that helped calm him down a bit.
Sitting down on the grass, he pulling out some of his kunai. He never, NEVER, would slack off on the job; but he had a few extra hours and he liked to keep his weapons in good shape. Cleaning them off and sharpening them, he also kept his guard up and his bladed gloves on.

Yuina stayed kneeled down on the ground, still trying to get the blobs out of her eyes. Sure, she knew it would happen, but she never really looked up in the sun's direction. Normally the butterflies would just fly in one area, so she never really worried about being blinded, even if it was just for a moment.
As she continued to follow the butterfly, she soon moved out of the small field. Frowning, Yuina stopped, her feet burning slightly from the sun hitting the sand. She sat for a moment, rubbing her feet, before deciding to turn back. After all, she didn't want to be too late for work at the Greenhouse.
After a few minutes of resting her slightly sore feet, Yuina hopped up and walked back to the field, in hopes of finding a different bug before she went to work. She walked along, singing as she went. Her voice was quiet, but if someone listened, they would hear her just enough to know it was a girl singing.

Humming a bit himself, Chokichi contently went on polishing his kunai. Soon he heard a note too high for him to possibly make even with the echo. Falling silent, he listened intently.
The millisecond the girl's voice hit his hears, Chokichi froze up- a chill going down his spine. Frantically packing away his tools and getting up, he started walking down the path. Being a bit too freaked out, he hadn't noticed the what he heard was the echo of the girl's voice and not the actual source. Just before he stuff his bladed gauntlets away, he turned back forward.
Since he had been going around a sharp corner and was looking over his shoulder he hadn't noticed the girl coming up his way and ended up running right into her. He was able to catch his balance before it even got discombobulated, but by instinct had grabbed onto the waist of the girl to stop her from falling.

Yuina continued to sing quietly, skipping down the path. There weren't any creatures that she could see, so she figured she would head to work. It's not like they really needed her, as they could make everything themselves, but she never knew. As she sung, her voice went up higher than most people would expect she could do. Of course, after ages of singing, she gained the useful skill.
She slowed down to a walk, still singing. A random fly had caught her attention, meaning she had to slow down. She held her hands in her short skirt as she watched it fly. The bug almost distracted her from her song, but she still continued.
Of course, like always, Yuina wasn't paying attention to where she was walking. The area was quite empty, but she still didn't notice the other ninja. As she collided with the other ninja, she stumbled backwards, almost falling. Suddenly feeling him grab her waist, she held back a scream. After a moment of regaining her balance, Yuina realized what position they were in and blushed.

Frozen, shocked, and five shades of red- Chokichi stared at the girl. They weren't super close, but he still found his eyes locked with her's. With a simple sweatdrop on his cheek, he got a bit of a agitated look. He didn't mean to make it, but he was trying his best not to just let the girl drop and then run off.
Slowly, he pulled her back up to her feet and slipped away from her. With a good few feet between them, Chokichi hesitated again. "A-ah...." He opened his mouth to say something, but nothing came out.
Letting out a small huff, He closed his eyes and calmed down a bit. After a moment he opened his eyes again and looked at her with an emotionless face. "You need to work on your balance..." He muttered faintly. Chokichi stared at the girl again, but soon turned and slowly stared walking away.
With his armor glowing dully in the weak light, Chokichi thought that maybe it was just too warm for him in the country- but the thought to turn around and go back keep passing through his head. Why would he ever do that? Just hearing a girl's voice makes him freeze up. Even with what felt like his brain and heart dueling it out, he decided he would look like a fool to turn around. Still, he hopped he would see her again. As he walked slowly, he muttered to himself, "Damn it... why do I want to be outgoing now...?"

Just as flustered as the male holding her, Yuina blushed and looked at him. She wasn't good in situations like this, especially since she was never in them. For some reason, she couldn't take her eyes of his. She couldn't even blink. She was just stuck there, looking like a tomato.
It was then she noticed her arm gripping his upper arm, as she was trying to keep herself from falling. Without any thoughts in her mind, she slowly let her grip loosen as she noticed the look on his face. Yuina didn't understand why he looked so angry, especially as she hadn't done anything. Except almost fall on him. But she assumed that didn't matter.
Once she was standing on her own two feet again, Yuina looked down at her feet, waiting for him to speak. "Um..." was all the small girl could manage, still blushing insanely. Moving her gaze back to his, she nodded, "I'm sorry..." of course she didn't know what to say, she had no idea who he was or what the heck just happened. "I didn't mean to..."
For some reason, Yuina put herself in blame, something she normally didn't do. It was just the guy... He made her feel strange. A somewhat sad look on her face, she watched as the guy walked away, her blond hair blowing in a sudden gust of wind.
Biting her lip, the shy girl watched the guy leave. Yuina didn't want him to leave, for some odd reason. Reaching her arm up, she whispered, "Don't go..." Looking down and slowly letting her arm drop, her silver-blue eyes traveled the path the others shoes made in the sand. By the time she decided she would turn around, her body wouldn't let her. Looking like an idiot, Yuina stood in place, watching as the other disappeared.

Almost a whole day passed and chokichi was just by the boarders of the small country. Suddenly freezing, he looked up. The sky was empty and dull. With every step he had taken it felt like it was getting harder to move. He had to get back home to report to the hokage- he had to finish his mission on time. Shaking his head and tensing up a bit, Chokichi couldn't muster the strength to take another step. Without a second thought, his body seemed to move on his own as he turned and started heading back to the village. The closer he moved toward it, he also felt his pace hasten. -- It was dark and the moon was at the top of it's arch. Coming back to the path and stopping where he had ran into the girl, he looked down. Their foot prints were still held by the dirt. Slowly, his eyes rose up and fell onto the wide open field. He hesitated, but left the path and emerged from the tree line. He walked out a bit, but stopped. His eyes moved upon the moon as he felt a small breeze roll by- the wild grass swaying along with it. Chokichi opened his mouth as a chilled-heavy breath rolled off his lips.
