Tsubasa flinched a bit as she touched his scars, afraid that he would freak out on her. After a few moments, she smiled as he spoke. He didn't seem to really care at all, thankfully. "Lady Tsunade? Wow..." she said, completely intranced. There were very few people were as interesting as he was. The brunette stayed quiet after that, allowing Kitru to talk about his scars. Tsubasa tranced her fingers along his wrists, following all the different scars. "It's so amazing... I could never deal with anything like that." she looked up, staring straight into his eyes. She could easily see the passion in them. It was something she felt too. The brunette worked hard to get where she was. Of course she didn't realize how close they were until a moment later. Blushing slighly, she backed up and looked down. Anything not to look at him. Tsubasa felt quite awkward for no apparent reason. She didn't know just how dangerous be could be, as he didn't seem to fill the part. She stayed just a few feet away, not knowing what to do. She wasn't used to being so close to a male, especially since her personallity normally pushed them away.
The brunette continued to stare at her feet, not noticing the bulge in his pants. Not like she would know what it was, anyways. "They do. I guess my personallity makes me, me too." Tsubasa shrugged and smiled softly. Looking up at his next comment, she laughed a bit, "Well if you were an assassin, you wouldn't kill someone like me." she nodded softly, "I'm not very important, you know." frowning a bit, she shook her head. She noticed the missing suffix on her name, quite surprised. They barely knew one another... But for some reason, she was fine with it. Taking her hand off him, Tsubasa looked up again and smiled softly.

Kitru smiled softly at her. Frankly, he liked this girl more than he thought he would. He felt himself blush when she did, and had a gentle look to his eyes. He looked away from her, to the rest of the training ground. Yep, they were alone.
"I don't kill very often. No one's ever pissed me off that much." He smiled at her, then shuddered when her fingers touched his scars over his wrists. It was nothing that was sexual, but it had an effect on him. "You know, you're different. What do you specialize in?" He looked at her again, his golden eye studying her again. It wasn't to harm her, but he knew she may just be a good friend if he played his cards right. He almost always did.
"You say you couldn't take cutting yourself when you're so upset that it's either cut and bleed or die? I wanted to kill myself so much, I tried it. Lady Tsunade hit upside the head for it, too. She healed me up, but," He walked closer to her. See this little one? The one over my heart?"[/color] He showed the mark. It was indeed a small scar over his heart. It looked burned shut. "I stabbed myself, but it didn't go deep enough to kill me. I failed, but I think it was best I'm still alive. After all... not many stories are this interesting, as I heard Naruto-kun tell me before." He smiled at her again, then looked at the scar. He gently took her hand and placed it on the small scar. "It's actually not painful. It's numb."

Tsubasa was glad that Kitru didn't find her strange or anything. Most males would have by this point in a conversation. She smiled back a bit, her face still slightly covered in her blush. It wasn't very common for the brunette to ever react so strangely to anything that happened. Looking up slightly, Tsubasa followed his gaze around the training grounds. It was abnormal for them to be so empty at such a time. She shrugged, not knowing what was going on. "Very often? So you have killed?" Tsubasa asked, a bit scared. She had met very few people who killed, and very less for such a reason.
As Kitru reacted to her touch, the brunette smiled. She was glad he was allowing her to touch the scars. Tsubasa assumed he didn't allow many to do such. "Different?" she smiled, "Glad to know I'm different. I don't specialize in anything yet. Just enjoying my life right now, really." her smile grew as he looked at her. He would definitely be her friend. She could tell from how he acted.
"You've felt something to that extreme? Wow..." Tsubasa listened to him speak, smiling just a little bit, "I can't see you doing that... You seem really strong. I like that about you." of course she would speak her mind just a bit. She always had too. The brunette nodded and looked at the scar over his heart. It certainly looked like it hurt more than the rest of them. She stayed silent, just staring at the scar in wonder. Tsubasa shuddered a little as he grabbed her wrist and had her touch the scar. She rubbed her thumb across it, feeling all the bumps along it. Smiling up at him, she spoke, "I'm glad you failed. Or else I'd never get to meet you." she smiled more and looked down. Using her other hand, she grabbed the butterfly on her necklace. It was always the strangest moments that she had to touch it.

Kitru always preferred taking his time to answer questions. It wouldn't change just for one person. "You are different. But I like different better than plain. I'd much rather have fun with you than ol' Lady Tsuande. She'd just try to get me druck off my ass and then use it as blackmail so she could get tons of gambling money off me. Believe me, she did it before. She's a nice person, though, if you stay on her good side. About specializing... I'm all-around. I an a pretty good medic, but a love the thrill of swords clashing. What about you?" He smiled. Maybe that was why he liked the spar with Tenten so much. He wondered if Tsubasa was any good at sword-fighting. It was his favorite practice. "Hai, I have felt really bad like that before. Hard to believe, coming from someone like me, huh? I get that a lot. I'm just not very open about the ones on my back." He was reminded of them after thinking about his past... they were dealt by a different hand, yet one he'd never forget. His past ate at him, but he was trying to forget it.
He smiled softly; it wasn't often he blushed around a girl. Then again, he wasn't the type to actually get to know them. He often just didn't want to imagine being in a family again, since his problems with his own family always seemed to get in the way of him wanting a girlfriend. He liked this girl, though.. she made him relax more than even Rikiddo. He smiled at her again, then was glad that she spoke about the cars in a good lighting. Most people thought he was a suicidal freak. Then again, at one time, he was.
"Thanks for saying that I'm worth it." He had a soft look in his eyes, and he felt the wind blow over his body. It felt good, actually. "I have killed a few times... It wasn't my favorite experience." He chuckled and tried to restrain himself from getting any closer to her. However, since her hand was touching his chest, it made it very hard to fight himself. He wanted to place a hand on her back and pull her close to him, but fought it. "Hey... I was wondering... do you have a boyfriend?" He blushed after he asked. He felt he needed to be smack for that comment, but he bit his lip and noticed they were close again. "I'd like to take you to Ichiraku's in Konohana. I personally know the chef there... I have to order mine special. I can't digest most fish, so I stick to a small shrimp." He chuckled, hoping he wasn't pushing it. "and frankly, I like you, Tsubasa. It'd be nice to go there with someone for once." He usually did go alone, save for the times he was dragged by Kurenai for a meal. He smiled at her, hoping to get a yes. He'd never been so brave to a girl, except for Tenten, who refused. That made him okay with it, though. He figured he wouldn't want someone older... He touched her hand down his chest, letting it drag softly over a large scar, the one that was dealt by Tsunade's rage. He smiled at the memory, and in his imagination, he held her close. But, he looked at her again, and hoped she'd be happy with his question.
He didn't want to head too far... plus, he wanted to see her strength. He sure didn't want to be with someone that couldn't defend themselves in battle... that could get them both killed Then, he had an idea. What if he helped her train? He smiled at the idea, but also hoped she'd wear something different next time... he didn't want to jump on her out of need. He figured he'd need a while to himself that night, to get it out of his system. This girl made him feel comforted... yet she was opposite to him by a lot. He continued to bite his lip, then looked at her. He noticed the necklace, and smiled. He had a silver dog-tag he usually wore, but he had it in the pocket of his pants at the moment. If it go hot, he'd be in a lot of pain. And he hated pain.
"Your hands... they're soft. You haven't gotten as far as me." He removed her hand from his chest and placed his other hand over her palm, showing her the texture difference. His hands were a bit rough, a few scars here and there, but not as soft as hers. He blushed a little, and gave a very almost-not-there chuckle at himself. He watched his hand touch hers, a gentle touch that seemed to have little problem making him blush more.

Tsubasa was glad that her companion didn't seem to care that she was so talkative. It just made him seem like a much nicer person. Even though she was a little uneasy about the missing suffix in her name, she allowed it to stay. Smiling, the brunette laughed a bit, "Well I do love being different." listening to Kitru rant about her questions made Tsubasa feel more comfortable with her new friend. Laughing as he told his tale of Lady Tsunade, Tsubasa knew she was correct about this day being a good one. Sure, the brunette had heard tales of the legendary Sanin being a bit... Out there, but she never knew how true they were. Nodding her head, she shrugged a bit, "I'm not sur what I'll specialize in yet. Either weapons or ninjutsu. I'm just gonna follow the norm for most ninja. It's simpler."
Really, one day the brunette wanted to learn how to sword-fight. It seemed much more dangerous than normal ninja moves, which made it much for interesting to her. Looking up, she agreed, "Very hard to believe. You seem like you wouldn't. But you know what they say, never judge a book by it's insides, or whatever the phrase is." shrugging, she laughed a bit. Tsubasa was terrible at trying to remember things like that. They just didn't register as important in her mind. Though she assumed that happened to many people.
Tsubasa smiles back at Kitru, her blush finally gone. She was rarely like this around a guy. In fact, the brunette didn't know she could respond in such a strange way. Sure, she talked to guys all the time. But they really only cared about her for her boobs. She really hoped Kitru was different, but she didn't know. Her mom told her she didn't need a guy, but the brunette had no idea if that was true or not. She certainly assumed so. After all, she had been raised without a father. Of course, Tsubasa wasn't one to be negative about anything. So she immediatly thought the scars were good, just like her necklace was so important to her. "Well you are. Everyone is, right? That's what I was raised on." her eyes were happy as she looked at Kitru. The wind blew the brunette's hair in her face, bur she ignored it.
"You have? Wow..." sure, that fact scared Tsubasa. But she wouldn't let that bother her. She allowed her hand to trail down his chest, running across Kitru's many scars. He didn't seem very dangerous, but Tsubasa knew that looks didn't show everything. Countless times, she had heard stories of people dying for trusting bad people. Of course she didn't know what type of thoughts were running through his head. The brunette's head was full of thoughts about Kitru, and how different he was. She wanted to hug him, for some strange reason or another. "W- what?!" she responded, surprised, "I-I, no I don't." her blush reappeared, and she looked down at her feet. She giggled a bit as he rambled. The brunette assumed he was slightly nervous about asking her himself, "Um... Sure. That'd be nice. Plus I love shrimp." millions of thoughts were running through her mind, but none were about what her mom would think. After all, Tsubasa was only thirteen. "I... I like you too, Kitru." it was really sudden of him to ask that, but Tsubasa assumed they could get to know each other better over something like food. She smiled softly, biting her lip a bit. A shiver ran through the brunette as Kitru grabbed her hand, running it over a large scar. She looked up finally, and smiled back.
Sure, Tsubasa wasn't the strongest ninja around. But she was just a genin, after all. The brunette hadn't even been placed on a squad yet. So she didn't exactly have anyone to train with. She pretended not to know that Kitru was looking at her necklace. A lot of people were interested in it. Even though Tsubasa didn't know much about it, she always wore it.
She smiled softly as he held her hand, comparing them. "Well I haven't been through nearly as much as you." his hands were bigger than hers in general as well. Their texture was rough, but Tsubasa didn't mind. Really, she kind of liked the feeling of them. Looking at Kitru, she smiled widely. He was much different than any other guy she had ever met, for sure.

Kitru grinned a little at her; "That's good. I'm different, too, so it makes us pretty good friends already, right?" He smiled, then chuckled when she laughed. Closing his eyes, he waited for her responses He didn't have to wait very long though. Whens he mentioned she didn't know what she wanted to specialize in, he smiled. "I could teach you some things, if you'd like. Tsunade-sama was my sensei." He smiled at her, then looked at the scar on his chest. "However... I think she's quite dangerous sometimes." He laughed softly at the memory. When he had felt the blade backfire and hit him, he had never even heard a scream go out of his mouth. He just froze, the wound definitely enough to stop his body from reacting. Tsunade healed him, but he had to take a while to get back onto his feet and to where he could sleep on his stomach again. That made him smile lightly, not something he always tried to recall. The wound never hurt anymore, but he'd have these scars for the rest of his life. How long that would be, it would very well have a chance of ending before he even tried to become a Jounin. He chuckled at himself, trying to get his mind off the sad reality that was life. He did however, plan on staying alive until he could become Kage. He wanted to take care of his village, but if he became a Kage... he couldn't see his friends, unless you counted the fact he only had a few friends.
"Oh, so you think a guy like me isn't serious? Heh, I guess so. But I'm a different person once I begin to fight. Maybe you'll see for yourself sometime. I just hope it's not against you, since I generally try to kill my enemy once they spill blood on me." He grinned, then laughed softly. "Naw, I'm only kidding. I hate killing." He had a gentle tone, his voice no-where near the dangerous heart he was. Putting it frankly, Kitru was hated for his soul, since most things that were dangerous, he took lightly and acted like it was nothing. But he always seemed to know what to do. He was a sweet male, yet so many people thought the shinobi was insane. Maybe, in a way, he was. Abuse does that. But Kitru didn't see himself as crazy; rather, he was a sweetheart. Gentle as a snake, until you stepped on his tail. He liked his distance, but he also seemed so calm... so dangerous. He chuckled at her memory. His was usually really good, a bit photographic, but he also knew that he forgot things once in a while. It was part of him. "Some books deceive, like Icha-Icha." He laughed softly. The late Jiraya was someone he only met once, when he was thirteen, but he had enjoyed his company. Meeting two great Sannin was quiet an honor, or at least, Kitru believed it to be. The white-haired Toad Sage told Kitru that he was special, and had quite a drive to live. His fire was different, for sure. Like that of the Fourth Hokage, and that was the beginning of Kitru's dream to become Kage. He'd show the village what they could do as a family instead of a village. It would be different, like he always knew it could be. He looked at Tsubasa, and smiled softly.
She seemed a bit wary of him, in a very unannounced way. He figured she thought he was playing her. He'd never do that to a girl; especially a sand nin. He thought she was rather cute, not the style he thought of most kunoichi. Not many were actually kind to young Kitru. When she accepted his request, he smiled. The blush was off him by now, but he had a small smirk on his face. He rarely was able to even eat with another person at Ichiraku's, since he was often training at night, and not a very good idea to stay up all night then skip sleeping when the sun was out. Boy, was he glad he wasn't a genin anymore. That fact alone killed him. He still got up for missions once in a while, if they were required instantly. He was a bit tired, but he didn't show it.
He smiled when she said he really was worth living. At least a few people thought he was worth surviving. He grinned at her, then looked at the sky. There were no clouds here, and that fact was true on his skin. It was hurting already. He looked back to Tsubasa, and felt a small wind hit him again, a few pieces of sand hitting his chest. He tensed a little as it laid siege on him. It ended fast enough, so he ignored it after it was over. The grains where hot, but his skin was already getting a bit sore from the heat. When she answered him about a boyfriend, he nodded. "It doesn't bother you I'm older, does it?" He hoped it didn't... he'd never try to force anyone to be kind to him. He was who he was, so he tried to be a bit nicer than he usually was to most males. Then again, Kitru's fear of most males still stuck on him. He was fighting it more than usual, but it was just who he was now. He was getting more comfortable around guys, and he really liked the idea of hanging out with Tsubasa today. He'd regret it later, for his exhaustion, but he knew he'd have to get used to it sometime. He had noticed her blush, and that made him chuckle lightly again, ever so lightly. Her hand on his chest, he liked the feel of it. It didn't cause much pain, since it was such a light touch. Her hands were gentle compared to his own. One reason why he didn't often caress his own body, even if it was just to check it over for wounds. He partially wanted to put his arms around her, but he knew he'd get slapped for it. He smiled at the idea, but he knew if she did, he'd deserve it. He saw her look down at her feet, then he himself looked away. He didn't want to seem, well, strange for watching her so much. He just liked her overall. Really, he never cared for breasts, like most males, but it was just part of a girl. He'd seen a few girls who were rather flat-chested, and they were just the same as Tsuande-sama to him. He looked at the post he had trained at overnight. It made him chuckle inside at how long he had actually been going at it. Her giggles however, he thought were rather cute. He hoped she got used to it. He tended to talk a lot around girls. Guys was a whole different spectrum. He smiled at her, then looked back when she said she liked him. "Good. I, uhh... I'm not really a stud," he admitted to her. Sure, he was pretty strong, muscled a bit, but he wasn't a choice pick because of his scars. That fact made him feel a bit bad, since most girls didn't like him that much. The fact Jiraya-sama had gotten so many girls and yet he was scarred up like Kitru was strange. Maybe because Jiraya-sama was a first-class pervert had something t do with it. Kitru guess that Jiraya-sama had more slaps than girls, though. Kitru himself wasn't much of a pervert, but he did have to admit that sometimes he did hang out in mixed bathing to get a look. He was a guy; it was natural to want to try to get a girl. Most of the time, the girls always looked way from him, though. That was the reason he quit going during the day.
He let her hands explore his scars, and when he saw her look back up at him, he blushed a little. He had to admit, in a few years, she might be able to give him a good run for his ryo. Smiling lightly at his friend, he wondered silently if she had an over-protective father. That would be bad, and since Kitru was almost an adult, well... that would probably be a fight waiting to start. Kitru never did really act on impulse, but he knew that he liked this girl. He'd only asked her out since he really had no chance with any girls in the Leaf, plus... well, she was really cute. His snow-white hair slid into his eyes a little, giving him a slightly more relaxed look. Maybe since his muscles relaxed, it just seemed to look that way, too.
He wanted to get closer to her, but then he realized just how close she actually was. His buldge had disappeared, thankfully. He didn't want to give her the wrong idea. "I like your necklace. I've got one myself, but it's in my pocket. I, uh, don't wear it during the day. when metal heats up, it kinda, well, hurts." He chuckled lightly at it. Her hands over his felt very good to him, sending a few shivers up his spine. He saw her wide grin, and he seemed confused a second before chuckling softly, his eyes showing quite a few emotions. Lust wasn't one of them. He let her explore is ahnd a little, then he placed his free hand on hers, a shy touch. "Why don't we get going? It'll be a bit of a run, but, I'm sure the ramen will be worth it." He finally let go of her hands, a bit of blush on his face as he turned from her and walked toward the post, where he had placed his shirt. He picked it up, the fabric soft in his hands. He rally didn't get how some people could wear weighted clothing.
'It must hurt,'[/i] he pondered before sliding the black shirt on his body. It fit nicely against him, and since he had been sweating, it stuck to him quite a bit, it showed his muscles through the shirt still. He walked back to Tsubasa, and slid his dog collar out of his back pocket. "It's kind of nice, actually. It belonged to my biological father. He gave it to my mom before he died, and after mom left, I received the necklace. I really don't care for my mom, but, well, it's just how it is." He explained the necklace with a passive tone, like it had no meaning to him, really. He didn't care for his past, and personally hated bringing it up. He figured she had the right to know about the necklace, since he knew that he would ask if he was someone with a dog collar in their hand, too. He slid it over his head, letting the warm metal touch his hot skin, cooling it a little. It really matched who he was, like it finished his appearance very well. He looked back at her, then smiled. "Do you need to tell your parents at all that you're heading to Konohana?" He kept forgetting she was so young... she definitely would be a good friend, even if he couldn't be very close to her. As much as he wanted to put an arm around her, he didn't, out of fear. He hated rushing anything.

Tsubasa laughed a bit, "Well, I guess it does!" she certainly enjoyed being different than everyone else, even if it sucked sometimes. She spoke in her normal, confident voice, surprised at how much she was getting along with Kitru. "Really?!" the brunette asked in disbelief. She had always wanted her own sensei. Realizing she was acting like a young child, Tsubasa grinned a bit, That would be awesome." she laughed a bit, agreeing with him. The loud girl had heard such rumors about the legendary sanin. Tsubasa ran her hand over his scar again, wondering how Kitru was able to survive through everything he did. But she was thankful he did, for sure.
"Well of course I think you can be serious. It just diosnt seem like it." she laughed a bit, "I certainly hope you don't like killing. Killing is bad." Tsubasa, not knowing who Kitru was, cetainly thought he was a good person. Of course, she though most people were. The brunette laughed at his comment. That was true, Icha Icha Paradise was quite... Different. She smiled, "So you're just aiming to prove me wrong? How mean." she grinned, showing her teeth. Kitru was a lot different than any male in her village, for sure.
Tsubasa did assume that Kitru wasn't all he said he was. Her boobs were the only thing any male cared about. Or so she thought. That's why her mother had taught her to be independant. That's why the brunette dressed how she wanted, even if it wasn't the best. It was the only attention she really got, unless she was yelling. Of course she would accept a request to be with a male, espeically such a kind and attractive one. The cute boys in her village all thought Tsubasa was a tomboy, which, even though true, wasn't how she wanted to be known. Smiling softly, she was glad Kitru liked her opinions. He was definitely the kind of guy she didn't think deserved to die for any reason. Tsubasa felt him tense and tilted her head. The wind blew again, sand hitting softly against her skin. She thought nothing of it, since that's how it always was in Suna.
"Oh no, not at all." Tsubasa smiled. Age was just a number, really. Th only person it would really bother would be her mother. Of course, the brunette was smart enough to take care of herself. Being slightly oblivious, the brunette didn't realize how tired Kitru was. She was a bit sleeply herself, but she didn't really care. It was just because it was the morning anyways. That was hard to believe, that it was still so early. Smiling, Tsubasa kept her hand against Kitru's skin. Until he asked her to remove it, she'd probably leave her hand there. His skin was rougher than hers, and much more covered up. She kept her eyes on his chest, not wanting to look around. Tsubasa didn't think that her giggles were cute, but she couldn't help but do it. She would talk a lot normally, but she wanted to get uses to Kitru first. She giggled again, "So? Who needs a stud? Looks aren't all that matter." the brunette thought that scars made a person more human. That's why she always wanted a scar of her own. From some awesome battle, or something.
The brunette barely caught Kitru's blush before looking back down. Running her hand across his chest again, she smiled a bit. She wondered what he thought of her, and how she acted. It wasn't like she tried to be flirty... She just was. That's what would happen when you were raised by just your mother. Tsubasa's mother always said that you never needed a man around. But she never understood that lesson. Against her wants, Tsubasa looked up at Kitru, squinting just a little bit from the sun. "What? Oh. Yeah. Thanks." Tsubasa said quickly. Her blush returned a bit, and she believed he was looking at her breasts. After all, they were right next to her necklace. "You have issues with the sun?" she asked, a bit nervous. It certainly seemed like her wanted her for her breasts. At least, that was her immediate though.
She nodded awkwardly, her hands feeling good wrapped in his. "We probably should. Tsubasa forgot for a minute that they had to tell her mother as Kitru put his shirt back on. She listened to his story about his own necklace, interested in it. The brunette didn't have much of a backstory to hers, besides that fact that her mother gave it to her when she was born. Wide-eyed, Tsubasa nodded, "Oh yeah. Um... I only have a mom. Don't know much about my dad, except the fact that he was an asshole. Left when I was born, I guess." surprised that she had said so much, Tsubasa coughed awkwardly, "But my mom will wanna know." she really wouldn't have cared if Kitru put his arm around her. She would have liked it, really. Even though it would be a bit strange to do in her village. Smiling a bit, she waited for Kitru so they could head off to her house.

He nodded gently to her. "Then let's head to your place, then," he told her. He hoped that her mother couldn't react badly. After all... he wasn't really a young teen. Hell, he was almost an adult. As they walked, he tried to build up the courage to do anything... hold her hand, something, but.. the boy was just too shy. He didn't want her to think he didn't like her... but dammit, it was hard for a guy like him to actually show his emotions toward a girl. He blushed a little, trying to hide it from her.
In the end, though, he did get closer to her, his fingers brushing against hers faintly. It was all he could do, really... "How far it is to you house?" It was a casual question, but he was tempted to let his fingers slip into hers.

Tsubasa smiled happily, "Let's go!" her mother wouldn't reactly that badly. Sure, she wouldn't like it at first, but she'd get used to it. Just like everything else Tsubasa did. Kitru was older than her, but not by that much. Tsubasa had friends around that age too. As she walked along side him, she hoped he would do something. All the time, the brunette saw couples holding hands as they walked around. Since she didn't know much about Kitru, she wasn't sure why he wasn't holding her hand. Blushing a bit, she ran her hand against his a few times. Looking up, she watched for his reaction, only to see a light blush already there.
Once he finally brushed his fingers against her, Tsubasa smiled. Sure, he was taller, but their hands were quite close. "Not too far." she smiled faintly, "It's this way." Tsubasa slipped her fingers into his, and pulled him along. She blushed faintly, a bit worried as to what he would do.

When her hands laced with his, he looked over at her. He smiled, letting her grip tighten to where he wasn't hurting himself or her. He got closer to her, and blushed a bit. He wondered if she actually liked him... He didn't really get to know too many nin. He let her pull him along gently, and he chuckled. "I'm coming, hold up!" He laughed and followed her. It wasn't often the guy actually relaxed around someone. His small sword hitting against his leg, his grip on her hand tightened faintly. He didn't want to make her yelp for anything.
He forced the blush off his face and he saw the couples... he didn't want to do that unless she wanted him to. He'd been hit before for trying it. And that didn't feel good when you're a guy. It hurt tons worse when they hit you, and your nerves are sensitive.
