Tsubasa kept one hand on Kitru's, lighting squeezing his. She didn't want him to freak out too much... Especially since her mother might take it the wrong way. She bit her lip, waiting for her mother to respond. None of the three spoke much, but it didn't freak out the girl. Her mother was just thinking, that was all.
"Yuuhi?" Tsubasa's mother mumbled to herself. The last name wasn't anything she knew, so she couldn't assume anything bad about the boy. He seemed kind, even for such a strange looking kid, "A date? Tsubasa..." she turned to her daughter, a worried look on her face.
"C'mon mom! It's just a date. Besides, he's a good guy. Don't worry." Tsubasa smiled, keeping her grip on Kitru's hand. She understood Kitru was different, quieter. She just had to hope her mother got that fact as well. Sometimes, the older woman didn't understand much at all.
Pursing her lips, Tsubasa's mother sighed. After all, she held secrets about Tsubasa's past that the girl didn't know anything about. And many of them included the Leaf village, "Fine. You may go." Smiling, Tsubasa let go of Kitru's hand and hugged her mother, before quickly pulling her date off.
"Silly girl... Let's hope she doesn't find anything strange out while there..."

Kitru let out a very loud internal sigh in thanks. "..T-thank you, ma'am." He hoped to the gods she wasn't going to take back her words. Tsubasa's hand on his, he squeezed lightly, keeping his eyes on her mother, then he looked back to the girl he was going to be traveling with. He was shy around others. He couldn't help it! He had only relaxed around Tsubasa at first since she had caught him sleeping. She however, had turned out to be someone he could talk to rather easy. Her mother... seemed like a heavy thinker. Like Kitru, a little. When he felt Tsubasa let go of his hand, he nodded to her mother, then bowed politely. "I promise... she's in safe hands with me." Oh gods... please don't laugh... I know, I look like a freak! But... Aww, dammit... I'm taking to myself again... He blushed faintly, then looked to Tsubasa. Letting her take him away, he sighed in relief once they turned the corner. "I-I'm sorry. I'm just... I get nervous around new people. If you had actually approached me, well... I would have been a lot less open with you." He looked down at the ground. Kitru wasn't a guy who liked meeting family. He had problems with his own, for the sake of Amaterasu! He looked back to Tsubasa and smiled. "... she's the first woman not to comment on my hair or eyes. I kinda liked her." He let out a chuckle to ease the tension.

Tsubasa's face was beaming with happiness. Sure, she knew her mother would day yes, but she still had to celebrate. Inwardly, the young ninja wanted to hug Kitru. But that would have to wait until her mother was out of view. It could lead to some very... Awkward moments. She was so glad her mother had agreed. Softly tugging on Kitru's hand, she prepared to leave for Konoha. The boy certainly seemed more tense now than when he was just with her... And she knew he wanted to leave. A slightl blush fell across her face as they left. She giggled a bit once they turned the corner. Kitru still seemed so awkward... Looking up at him, she kissed his cheek, "You did great." she knew it was weird, but it was the only way she'd be able to go with him. She laughed lightly, "Well she probably didn't care. She's more of a personallity person. Though I will be quetioned when I get home."

KOsi smiled at her, an he stole a quick little kiss before she pulled back. He relaxed again, his eyes going to her home. He had the feeling Tsubasa's mother was very interested in why he, nearly an adult, liked Tsubasa. Oh well. It wasn't for anything most guys did. He really just wanted to feel wanted for once... He slipped his hand into hers. "Thanks, I try to keep people happy. I hate when people judge me." He smiled at her and lightly squeezed her hand. He looked down the street, then glanced back to her. "Well, you ready to go the Leaf?"

Tsubasa grinned as Kitru kissed her back. He was a really sweet guy, she could tell. And she knew her mother did as well. Even if she tried not to judge, her mother always had certain feelings about people. And if she didn't like Kitru, she wouldn't have let her daughter go. Squeezing his hand lightly, the brunette smiled at Kitru. "Well who doesn't? I mean, its hard for me, but I try." looking around, she nodded, "Yeah. Let's go!" Tsubasa was excited to finally get to go to a new village. Hopefully it didn't take too long to get there.

Kitru grinned at her. "Alright, come on then!" He increased his grip lightly, then headed for the exit. The sun was still hot, but by the time they got to the Leaf, it would probably be setting. "Are you going to stay overnight at the village? I mean, it'd be a cold run back here tonight." He glanced at her, then looking back toward the gate, his steps silent as he went.

Tsubasa giggled, "You'll have to keep up!" running ahead, she kept their hands barely intertwined. She noticed the time, but ignored it. "Eh, I'll do whatever. My mother won't really care." smiled a bit, she added, "As long as I come home a virgin, of course." laughing, she looked ahead to the gate. Today was going to be a great day.
