Neji stared at her awkwardly. He could feel the heat in his cheeks; the mortification was palpable. Neji had spent years - his entire life - building a figure that people could respect: tall, well-groomed, practiced, observant, respectful... polished to a shine. Hinata could take all of it in and still see the good in him. Somehow, she could tear down his walls and make him feel, confused, vulnerable, childish, happy, warm, safe. Their conversations always left him puzzled. Puzzled about her never-ending optimism, her strength, but more than that. Puzzled about himself, the truths that only she could uncover.

Conversations like this, when he was left standing at the side of the road, blushing and utterly bewildered.

"Hinata-sama..." He mumbled, his aura of self-respect and poise crumbled to rubble. "You won't... this just stays between us, right?"

"Off course Neji!" Hinata said,eyes wide open,she couldn´t believe that Neji tough she would be so cruel.
"B-But you should still tell her..."Hinata said,brushing the strands of her hair more and more,her nails brushing each hair perfectelly,her straight hair shined with the sun.
"She then got near Neji,she examinated his clothing.
"well....U-umm...i don´t know what to say about your clothings...I-i mean...yous hould change them....really" Hinata said,blushing and smiling.

Neji smiled and exhaled. There she goes again, he thought, watching her fingers comb frantically through her blue hair. He moved his hands from his sides slowly as she approached him.

"Is that a hint?" Neji said, chuckling lightly. "Thank you for your considerations, I'm actually quite fond of my clothing."

Still, he couldn't help but consider what she was saying. Maybe it was time for a change... it had been quite a while and he had grown accustomed to them. It was time to try something new, Hinata was right. He watched her raking her hands through her hair nervously. Was she concerned about his reaction to the comment about Tenten? Neji moved his hands toward hers, grabbing them in a light gesture. He held them softly and looked her in the eyes sincerely.

"Don't worry, I'm not angry," he said with a slight smile, holding onto her hands. "You don't need to be so nervous around me."

"oh..."Hinata moaned,as she was unexpectedly moved by Neji,her hands now held together with his hands.
"Well...I know,afterall you are just like a brother to me...." Hinata said,smiling to her cousin.
"Have you ever saw the jutsu that i have been working on for a long time?" Hinata said,thanking god in her insides becaus eof Neji not been angry.she then looked at him in the eyes,still holding his hands.

Neji let her hands down and picked up the bento again. He started walking, looking at her to make sure that she was following as well. The training ground was just up ahead, the view obscured by trees. Some targets that Neji knew very well were lodged into the trees. The grass was torn by the rough ridges of genin sandals and kunai blades.

"A new jutsu?" Neji wondered aloud, looking at her curiously. He hadn't heard that she had been working on one. Then again, he had been busy with missions recently and hadn't had much time to visit with old comrades. "I would love to see it."

They arrived at the training ground, and he set down the heavy pack. He placed the bento underneath a tree, and hung the pack on an upper branch. He removed his clothes and a few kunai - though he was almost certain that they would go unused - and cradled the bundled training cloth in his arms.

"Mind if I change first?" Neji asked.

"O-oh,y-yes don´t worry" Hinata said,looking elsewhere blushing faintly,she loved Nejia s a brother,but she didn´t really wanted to see him naked.

"Ummm...N-Neji-kun,i have got better at the jutsu i...I used againts Pein2 Hinata said,still looking elsewhere.

Neji saw her looking away, and was abruptly surprised.

"I was going to go behind the bushes," he muttered, embarrassed. "I'll just... er..."

Without another word, Neji climbed through the bushes and threw on his spare set of clothes. They were black and gray clothes often worn by members of the Hyuuga clan during training. He wrapped a thick bandage around his waist to hold them in place, and tied a second bandage around his forehead. Folding the robe carefully, he placed it into the pack and rejoined his cousin.

"Ready," he told her. "Now, let's see that new jutsu."

"u-umm..." Hinata said,takign her jacket off,she had a fishnet anwyays,so nothing coudl eb seen,she went near a tree,she was off Neji´s sight,she took some bandages to wrap her pants more than the usual so they won´t fall during training, a white T-shirt that had a red flame on it.she tried to get her hair out of the way,even trought she had ntohing to hold it up.she got out of the bush,she was wearing many clothes,but they where thin and easy to move around.
"I-I ´m Ready,so- about the jutsu..." Hinata said,as she made a weird charging position,her eyes changed to the Byakugan.
"I used this againts Pein....maybe i can hit hard with it." she said,as her fist started to glow in blue,the chakra got bigger and bigger,it started to get a weird shape,lion heads.
"Gentle Step Twin Lion Fist."Hinata shouted,as her hair flew because of the chakra that flew on her hands.she charged and then started to spin to Neji,aiming to hit him with the big lion fists.

Neji had already moved into a defensive position - body leaning slightly back on the right leg, left leg stretched outwards to launch into a defensive Hakkeshou Kaiten. His hands mirrored his legs; he was in the perfect position to attack or to defend.

Hinata launched herself at him, her fists glowing with the Lion Fist chakra. She spun, swinging her arm towards his midsection and coming in quickly. Neji stepped back quickly with his left foot, countering by slapping her arm further inwards into the spin with an open palm. She missed him - but barely. Neji retreated back into his defensive position and smiled daringly.

"Good," Neji commended her, flashing his slanted, wry smile.

Hinata didn´t need to look back to know where Neji was,her Byakugan showed her the exact position.
Hinata smiled because of Neji´s comment,her hand where still glowing,the lion fist were perfectly visible,in fact they looked menacing.
"HA!"Hinata cried,as she spinned in a circular 8 motion her arms positioned near her body,her open palms glowing in the blue chakra,the lion fist glowing menacing.
she was about to hit Neji...
