Seiji smiled to herself as the chakra disappeared. She really didn't want to have to fight on one of her very first missions. Sure, she understood how common it was to get battled in this day and age, but she just didn't like it. Without her squad, Seiji felt slightly alone in her life. Feeling awkward, she took the other's hand and stood up. Dusting herself off, she mumbled to herself, "It's just a short mission..." really, she couldn't deal with interuptions. The sooner she got back, the better. Smiling awkwardly, she fixed her headband and hair, "Nice to meet you..."
Awkwardly standing in her place, she wasn't sure what she wanted to do. Of course Seiji wanted to finish her mission, but it would be rude of her to just leave. Jumping as the bushes rustled, her eyes widened. There were many ninja, all who could easily beat her. Looking to Raiden, Seiji pulled out a shuriken. She had to keep herself safe, no matter what.

Raiden long felt the approaching weak chakras long before she did, but made no attempt to show that he realized it. He continued to smile, and asked her what her mission entailed. Not that he was prying, but he was curious to why such a young chuunin would be all the way out here by herself. Konoha's ways confused him, and to top it all off, they just named their Hokage. Apparently he was incredibly young, but hey, they have been kage-less for 2 years. His eyes quickly darted to the rustling bushes, and he drew his Tanto. "Step back...unless you are looking to fight." He said calmly.
He wouldn't even need jutsu for these abominations. Sure they had raw power, but Raiden was willing to bet his life they didn't know how to use it. He flickered in front of one, his blade cutting through it vertically. Blood showered on his mask and cloak as he flickered to another, decapitating, more blood shot everywhere. One made a dash for the chuunin and he quickly threw three kunai at it, and they stuck into the back of his head, as he fell slowly.
He ducked under a swipe and drove his sword inwards, piercing the heart. He swiftly pulled it out and parried a blow from one of the larger beasts. 'What the fuck are these things?' He said, cleaving another in two. Whatever they were, they could not focus chakra, or attack reasonably. They had power, but not enough to go berserk and see results. They were chuunin level at best.

The onslaught continued, and while some attacked, many others shot forward to tell Minoru of what had happened. Though of course when they told him, they barely got a shrug in response, "I told you to join me if you wanted, I never offered protection on the road."
As one of the shinobi died, it looked at Raiden and said, "He'll come back and save us."

Of course, if Seiji hadn't been so flustered and lost in through, she to would have noticed the incoming chakra. Thought it would have been nice of Raiden to let her know. Then she wouldn't haven been so freaked out. "It's just a delivery. A simple delivery." she told her companion in a simple sentence. Seiji was used to the strange things her village did. Of course the delivery must have been of some importance if they didn't send it by hawk. Her eyes wide, she watched as the first few jumped out. Standing behind Raiden, she tried to stay under his cover.
The world seemed to stand completely still as blood splattered across her face. Raiden had chopped one of them straight in half. Deep inside, she was glad that she hadn't worn anything she actually cared about. The cloak was old and beat up, so the large blood stain didn't bother her as much. Pulling out two extra kunai, Seiji jumped as Raiden killed the one coming toward her.
"What the hell are these?" she yelled at Raiden as she threw two kunai at one, finally attacking. They landed in the shinobi's chest and he fell to the ground. But Seiji didn't have time to care that she had just murdered someone. Holding her third kunai, Seiji ran forward and slashed one across the throat. She figured if Raiden wasn't using chakra, she wouldn't need to either.

Raiden got a maniacal look in his eye when one announced somebody would come to save them. "Well where is he?! Huh?!" Raiden said with a crazy edge to his voice. He stuck his blade inside of the monsters face, and watched him die, his appearance changing to that of a human. 'So this is what they are. Civilians with cursed seals. Imagine the power I could attain with one of those marks.' He killed a few more and responded to Seiji's question. "People, ordinary people with Curse Seals!" He wanted to find their creator. Maybe he could make Raiden a curse seal. Then he could defeat all opponents that came his way.
He would be nearly unstoppable.

Minoru flipped suddenly and landed near a river, slowly crossing it, not even stopping to take in the beauty, what was the point? As he crossed he heard splashing behind him as several of the test subjects jumped out of the forest and on or in the river. "Help Master Minoru!!! They're trying to kill US!!" They screamed. Minoru looked at them with no interest and simply said, "I never promised you safe passage, only those who can make it to the new sound village can be of use to me." And he turned around and continued walking, ignoring their pleas for help.

Seiji watched as Raiden appeared to go crazy. Pulling out a shuriken, she threw it at the nearest one. Somehow she was able to watch as it fell to the ground, changing into a normal human. A scream escaped her lips the moment Raiden yelled at her. She couldn't believe what was going on. Humans with curse seals were attacking them. Wiping the blood off her kunai, she ran over to Raiden, "What's happened to them? Why are they attacking us?" she asked, running her kunai into another one. It seemed like they would never stop. Really, the girl just wanted to make it to the village. Even if it meant running from the battle. Sighing, she took out three shuriken and threw them at a group of the ninja, scared for her life.

Raiden cut through a few more, finishing them all off. Yes. This power would suit him greatly. He responded to Seiji's question. "I am not sure! Maybe the power causes insanity!" He looked over at where they seemed to be coming from. The same high chakra was over there, and for all he knows, he might have created these abominations. He flickered over, appearing some couple of feet behind him. "Are these your....creatures?" He asked, the crazy look still in his eyes.

Minoru regarded the new comer as nothing but a threat and an enemy. Those didn't last long. He drew his kusinagi and with a flash thrust it at Raiden's breast. "Only if they can make the journey." He replied quietly, waiting for the end of it.

The blade struck Raiden and he exploded in a flash of lightning. Raiton Kagebunshin no Jutsu He then appeared some feet away from him. "You shouldn't be so...hasty." He said calmly. "I might have a deal that would work in your favor, but if you killed me, you would have lost a valuable asset." He said with a dangerous smile.
