The vines circled around Minoru, blocking the attack. Acrid smoke began pouring from the burnt vines, releasing the toxin that would begin constricting the throats of any unfortunate enough to breath it in.

Raiden quickly raised his hands into the air. "Raigeki no Yoroi - Lightning Strike Armor!" A disk of lightning formed above his body, and quickly covered him, head to toe in lightning. He quickly struck the smoke spewing vines and crushed them into fragments, dispelling the dust. The lightning armor went away as Raiden stared at Minoru.

The shy Aburame jumped as the two ninja completely ignored her. Neither of them seemed to notice Seiji was there, even though a moment before both were talking to her. Screaming as the lightning struck, Seiji jumped back up into a higher tree. She could feel the chakras of the many creatures getting closer, and the girl didn't know what to do.

As the vines were struck down, because they were burning, they continued to emit the smoke, though the ones that were not on fire rose up. "Unwise move from a very stupid man." He said casually. No need to even begin to try, this man would be dead in just a few moments. Minoru lashed out, using his sword, the unholy extension of his arm to slice at the man's chest, wondering where the girl had gotten to. If she had retreated to assist his opponent, Minoru would have to watch his back. Though there was a much simpler way than constantly looking behind him. He manipulated his chakra and another Vine clone rose up from behind him, scanning the trees for anything unusual. Its job would be to do just that until it identified a target or liablility

He quickly formed more handsigns. He didn't care what this man had to say. "Ikadzuchi no Kiba - Lightning Bolt Fang!" He raised his hands into the air as lightning began to crackle around them. A large lightning bolt shot from the sky onto Minoru and his clone. He turned to the chuunin, who was visible in his stage one of his Kaminarigan eye. "Back me up!"

Seiji watched in horror as the two fought. No one was explaining anything to her at all. And she couldn't deal with it. As tears slowly crept towards her eyes, the Aburame jumped to another branch, attempting to hide from the strange vine. She had never battled against someone who could use nature as his own weapon. Looking down at the two, she flinched. Neither looked like they were going to give up until the other one gave in. Pulling out a kunia, Seiji backed herself up against the branch. She shook her head down at Raiden "Help you with what?!" the shy girl didn't know why they were even fighting, let alone who the other man was.
Holding her kunai up, Seiji hoped that the creatures wouldn't notice her. They were much too strong for her. Looking down at her hands, Seiji saw all the blood that had already been spilled. Closing her eyes, she stayed in her spot, afraid for her life.

The attack was unfortunate. Even with all of his experience, dodging lightning was a near impossible task. Near impossible though. Just as he figured out what was going on he began a complicated form of escape. Just a split second before the strike, he switched with one of the experiments in the forest, using the substitution jutsu, leaving the man dead in an instant, and the clone burning away in a cloud of poisoning smoke, sinking in the water. Minoru moved through the foliage with the ease that his former life as a hunter-nin gave him, ending up right behind the one he hunted, the young girl, who was hiding. Thanks to her yelling to the other man, he was able to locate her. "Time to see what you know," He said, revealing his presence to her.

"Goddammit! How'd he get away from me?!" Raiden activated stage two of his Kaminarigan, his speed increasing as well as his strength with the Raiton element. He performed a singular handseal, lightning crackling in his hand like an orb. Drawing it over his head, he yelled "Kaminari Chen-Lightning Chain!" He snapped it forward as hard as he could, the ball now extending into a waving tendril of electricity. As it hurtled towards the man, Raiden prepared to wrap it around his leg and pull him upwards before slamming him down.

Seiji screamed and turned around as the man appeared behind her. She wasn't sure what to do. Hell, they weren't even explaining anything. Staring into the eyes off the man, she frowned, "What do you want?" she asked, about to cry. Her brown hair was strewn about as she turned to find Raiden. Biting her lip, she looked back at the man, afraid.
