Kosi smiled softly at her confidence. 'That can get you killed.'[/color] He slid his Wakizashi from it's black and silver sheath. A stain of blood laced the edge, the same symbol etched into the metal near the handle. It wasn't going to be easy to do, but if enough blood got into the symbol, Kosi knew something would help him. Holding the blade in his right hand, so he could calculate his movements. The blade was double-edged, and the center was made of silver. The rest, however, was a strong black metal. He quickly focused onto the fight, ready to begin. His attacks never came as offensive... he'd wait. Forcing a little chakra into his sword, he dulled the sharpness, so it wouldn't cut her deeply if it landed, to make the fight a little more fair. The blue chakra quickly changed to a red color, covering the blade. It would make it hurt if hit, not slicing through flesh.
"Give me what you got, Jounin." He had a very quiet, make-you-want-to-listen tone to his voice, his hair slipping over his blind eye... His entire body flowed with experience, with a knowing force already in place.

"You asked for it... Chuunin." She said, grinning as she rushed in, quickly and deftly swinging the staff in an array of strikes, the first aiming to the shoulder, the second to the gut, and for the third she dropped low, trying to sweep out his legs from beneath him.

He watched her move, scanning in his mind. He quickly shifted his weight to his right leg and attempted to blow her attack back at her, his force quite hard, yet it was only a counter... He watched her eyes, seeing where she was planning on striking next. He took a blow to his stomach, wincing a little, but he got revenge on the hit by striking down when she tried to knock him off his feet. His eye watched her like a hawk as he jumped back, his stomach throbbing from the strike. He watched her harshly, so little emotion in his stance, yet it showed every part of who he was. A Shinobi, yet a dangerous child still learning, still accepting who he was.
"You're fast, but you should watch it a little more." He pointed his small blade at her, eyes glaring out warning, yet a playful manner was showing in his eyes; he was starting to enjoy this already.

"For all you know, I'm just playing with you. Hiding your skill is a trait every shinobi should put to use." She said, rolling back. She smiled at him, twisting the staff at both ends, revealing that it separated into three parts, connected by chains. She whirled the three-section staff around, switching her hands from the middle piece to one of the end pieces as she built momentum, casting the opposite end in a downward swing in his direction. Luckily, this method seemed to be reaching the kid, and he seemed more... alive.

"Well yeah. That's the point." He smiled and watched it break apart. He slid his small blade back into it's slot, then jumped back, making the signs for a strange jutsu... He then smirked, his body relaxing. He finished his seals, then bit into his thumb open, bleeding it over his sore wrist. He struck the ground, summoning out a grey colored wolf. A dog tag was hanging from his left ear like a earring, showing the leaf's symbol. It growled and Kitru attacked from behind using a quick henge, making her attack a log instead. "Nice hit. That would have hurt." He laughed lightly, his eyes lightening up slowly. He slid out the silver kunai and charged her, hoping to get a hit. The wolf attacked her opposite side, hoping to make her back up. He had a shadow clone going for her, waiting for her to try to back up or go forward. It would attack with his Tsume Ookami no jutsu. The extra seals had been for that reason.

Tenten simply grinned. "Hitting the basics, are we?" She asked, switching her hands back to the center of her staff. From here, she twirled the staff at high speeds, the ends whipping around her in a near-spherical motion. She had successfully formed a defense around herself which only someone as quick as Lee or with eyes like an Uchiha could get through with taijutsu.

Kitru smiled at this. He nodded to the wolf and backed off fast. He knew he'd be hit pretty hard by that attack. He watched her, learning her little trick. "Alright, so I can't hit with tai. How about this, then?" He smirked, then let his clones disappear. He made the signs for the Chakra scalpels, and jumped, to attack from above. He wondered if she'd find a way to block this, too... He was really enjoying this little spar. He planned to make his attack strike just near her back, to immobilize her enough to strike her organs... he was sure she had damaged his a good bit when he took the hit earlier.
He wasn't stupid, and a hidden clone appeared, to attack from the ground at the last second when he expected her to be occupied with him.

"Kage Bunshin no Jutsu!" She called, and a Shadow Clone appeared, jumping up to meet the real Kitru as she attacked the clone, re-attaching the ends and slamming the staff into its side. Her clone disappeared when it was struck, but it was enough to let her jump out of the way, to safety. She re-sealed the staff inside of her scroll, pulling out a couple of sai daggers, spinning them around her fingers. "You can't expect to beat me with village jutsu. I've been here for a decade longer than you. Still, a good effort."

Kosi smiled, he figured he'd have to pull something out that she wouldn't have seen before. "Fine. Tsume! Ookami not Jutsu!" He made fast signs, and felt his chakra blaze over his hands. He charged her, attempting to strike at her side. Missing her on purpose, he swung back and tried to slam onto her in a cross-cut. His hands were burning harsh;y as the elemental energy made him feel a bit more alive, a little more of force behind the attack.
"I doubt you know how to fight all jutsu." He kept his chakra going heavily, to increase the pain on himself, to increase the rage he felt building up because of his pains, and the memories going toward hate in his mind. He watched her eyes, trying to keep himself safe from a strike, yet he knew when he got close, he'd be open for a painful hit. He;d take the hit, as long as he took her down with him.

Tenten dodged the strikes, swinging in with strikes from the prongs and butts of the sai as well. Still, she couldn't manage to land a hit. "You're not bad, kid." She said, taking a grazing hit to the side, shooting pain through her body. Bracing against it, she flipped backward, throwing each sai on either side of the boy so that he couldn't dodge to the right or left. She then pulled out a scroll, releasing its contents as she whipped it in front of her. A barrage of kunai shot out of it, heading in his direction. This attack rarely hit since it was easy to dodge by moving backwards or jumping, but it was excellent for creating distance between her and her opponent.
