Kitru was honestly shocked at this man. He shook his head lightly. "We have a common belief then... I despise killing. I actually have formed my own jutsu, to keep from killing my opponents." He sighed and and looked up at him. "I don't know what to think of you. You could easily be just trying to get a secret out of me. I can't trust anyone." He frowned out of fear. It wasn't anything about the male that made him scared... the memory was replaying in his mind.
"... Yeah, but I can't imagine you crying."

Rikiddo nearly laughed as Kitru said that he'd developed pacifistic techniques. "Lad, I don't think either of us realize how similar we may be. I spent most of my Chuunin career developing my jutsu to cause as little damage to my opponent as possible. I'm well known for my ability to capture my targets unscathed." He listened as Kitru continued, offering up the last phrase."I have cried much in this life, and will many times more. I deem that as an assurance of humanity, rather than a weakness."

Kosi nodded lightly to the man. "I'm not a fan of blood. I really hate seeing it, but tasting it... it makes me ill to my stomach." He looked at the ground. Really, he hoped this person was telling the truth. Kosi was starting to like this guy, and he frankly wondered if this man was something like him.
"I believe... my humanity is nearly dead. It's why I love animal life over human. But recently... I've just been so depressed, I can't care too much. I mean, Tenten-chan made me relax when we sparred, but..." He sighed. His eyes glistened with tears. "I don't even know why I'm telling you this."

"Tenten... Yes, she's a little brash, but a diamond in the rough for sure. I am happy that she could help you." He smiled. There was a fire in that girl, and he was glad she'd directed it to helping another. Only she would think of sparring as therapy, but it showed what he knew. It had actually helped.
"You're telling me because your heart is reaching out. It can't bear the weight of your pains alone. That is why you feel as though you are losing your humanity."

Kitru perked up when he heard Tenten's name, then blushed a little when realized he did. "Yeah, she helped a lot. I really don't know why I can't shed my spines, replenish my fires... I'm too scared to be hurt again. Pain is a part of life, but... Pain for me is so much worse. Tsunade-sama said that she never expected me to be good at Taijutsu, because of my... history. I'm more sensitive than I think anyone else could ever be. It's not only pain, though... some pleasures are incredibly intense." He smiled a little, then looked at the ground, where the single petal had fallen. It was soaked, yet withheld the color. It intrigued Kosi at it's natural strength. He knelt down to get a closer look. "I bet you've seen me train before with Tsunade-sama and Kurenai-sensei. It's not that had to imagine I'm not a quitter. I mean... I'm an albino. I'm nothing like I should be, but..." He shook his head softly, then looked up at the male. His eyes held tears, and they began to drop.
"My skin burns in the sun, I'm a sight for the travelers to see... I mean, only 1 in 2,000 people born are albino. It's not common. At all." He looked at the petal again. "This petal's like me a little... It wants to fight, but it knows it's doomed." His golden eye glistened as a tear finally slipped forth, dripping to the ground. He wasn't sobbing, as they were silent tears. His chest hurt with the will to just sob, but his strength inside refused. He was proud to be who he was, but his past was his anchor. How could a young man trust another person after his situation?
He nodded at his new... friend? No. His new sensei, in his mind. Sensei's didn't hurt you. "Yeah, I guess I really can't hold my pain in all the time. I cried after I killed the first person I was assigned to."

"You are strong, Kitru, and that is your weakness. One cannot be strong all the time. Your strength will devour you." He let the boy's tears fall without mention. He didn't want to embarrass him by pointing it out. "Do you like Ichiraku's Ramen? If you'd come, I'd like to treat you to some. It seems like some food and relaxation may do you some good. It certainly would me."

Kitru looked up at the male, nodding. "Yeah... it might be a good idea. I skipped lunch and dinner because of training." He smiled softly, thinking about what the man had said. "What do you mean, that my strength is my weakness?" He was confused, and he didn't know what to say to his friend. Friend? Kitru growled at himself inside. He could keep no friends.
Then, an image of Tenten from the spar made him stop in his thoughts. What was she, then? He sighed outwards, and shut his eyes. "Girls are completely different souls." He shook his head lightly.

"Then let us go. I'm famished." Rikiddo said, smiling. He started to walk, bidding for Kitru to follow. "What do I mean by your strength being your weakness? Hmm... let me think of how to explain this... Have you heard of the Eight Gates? Rock Lee and his sensei Gai have gained a bit of fame for their ability to tap into them. In essence, it opens the metaphorical floodgates of your chakra system, letting you accomplish almost superhuman feats of speed and strength. However, the longer the user's power is pushed toward the maximum, the more the body rips itself apart in an attempt to keep up. This applies emotionally as well as physically. If you constantly hold up a barrier against potential heartache, you'll crumble under the weight of your own wall. Then where will you be when hardship does come?"

"Well, I'll cross that bridge when I need to." He had listened silently to Rikiddo, and followed him. The sakura tree above them swayed in a gentle breeze. It had little need to cry. "I'm not like most nin. Even Tsunade-sensei knows I'm like this. Why would you be the only one to actually see my pain? Nothing like this matters to many people." He was calmed down, and he wondered if this guy was just trying to get information out of the Albino. "I'm not a fan of liars." He watched Rikiddo, then grew silent. He felt so much pain inside, Kitru new he couldn't possibly keep a straight face with someone like him. The male made him feel safe. And Kitru never felt safe.
He never would, not while the past ate at his heart.

"One man can never truly know the trials of another... yet a man that knows pain knows all pain. Some pains are merely another taken over a thousand-fold. I simply despise... pain." He broke stride for a moment when he heard Kitru imply that he could be a liar. "Your words are kunai, Kitru, and they pierce deep. I take solace only in the knowledge that your kunai is raised in defense, rather than attack." At this, he began to walk at the same pace he had been. "It is not much farther to Ichiraku's."
