Kitru smiled warmly at the man, nodding. "Rikiddo... you can call me Kosi. I've always preferred it over my real name. It's not something I usually tell other nin." He smiled and looked in his hand. The piece was small, and he looked it over. "... I hope you and I will be close friends, Rikiddo-kun." He smiled softly then looked at the chef. She smiled at Rikiddo and Kitru, and Kitru smiled back in thanks. She always knew how to make him smile.
As he turned back to Rikiddo, he heard him say he was leaving. "Will you send for me, or will I meet up with you for missions?" He gripped the shogi piece in his hand gently, yet his eyes burned. It was a gentle, yet passionate power sparked up. "And... I thank you again, for everything. Most importantly... Thank you for showing me I'm not worthless."

"If you are needed, we will find you." Rikiddo said. "And you are welcome. Thank you for giving me reason to continue believing in the power of compassion... Koshi-san." he said, flickering away, feeling a very strong sense of inner-peace.

Kosi smiled as the man disappeared. He nodded to himself. "I guess It's time to head for some training... I can't get rusty at this age!" He grinned and headed for the training ground... he was going to love this tonight. Alone and with a calm he usually never had, he quickly left the stand with a wave to the cook, and ran toward the place he felt would make all the difference. Sitting on the counter was a few drops of his blood, from a cut he had made before meeting Rikiddo. It was nearly sealed up on his wrist by now, and it didn't look like it was going to get any new siblings for a while.
"Call us even, Rikiddo-san." He looked back and smiled one last time before disappearing toward the grounds.
