Trial

Ronbun bowed and the seal was broken, letting her free. "One Thousand apologizes Kazekage-Sama" He board looked indignant but reluctantly bowed, their faces hard masks of anger.

[Kitters]

Ko grinned at the board and lazily waved her hand at them as she followed Gaara out of the room. After that- an hour or two had passed. Finally, Gaara came back into the room and Ko following slowly. She had a serious look on her face and wouldn't look any of them in the eyes.
Gaara scanned over the directors again, a deadly serious look on his face too. "She is to be freed at the price that she can't enter sunagakure ever again." He then turned and walked out, not wanting to deal with the directors anymore. As Gaara left- Ko simply glance over at Ronbun and then turned, walking out too.

Ronbun now realized that he had done the wrong thing, and he felt horrible for it as Gaara lead her out. When they came back, and he heard the verdict, he knew something was up. As Ko left, he bowed to the board and left also, seeming to go in the direction of the lab, but he had doubled back and followed Ko. He knew she would know he was there and he waited for her to confront him.

Ko was already outside of town a good mile or two. The sun was setting and the wind had died down. She was just sitting there in the middle of the desert- running her finger along the edges of her katana. She had no where to go at the moment and was never really motivated to move around at night anyway.

[Travishnu]

Ronbun came out of hiding, knowing that scaring this woman was near impossible. "I'm sorry for jumping to conclusions." He said simply.

[Kitters]

Ko didn't look up at him, she just simply continued running her finger along the edge of her blade to find any spots in need of attention. Shrugging it off, she murmured, "Probably for the best anyway..." She only glanced up to see the last few seconds of the sun before it set. Sighing, she stood up and continued, "I should go before They sick an ANBU on me..." Pausing, she stared off in the distance and then turned- slowly walking away in who-knows what direction.

Ronbun looked at the ground, unable to face her, "Why did you come back?"

[Kitters]

Ko froze and stood there- a few feet between them and her back still to Ronbun. "I was going to take up your offer from before. But this are too complicated for me to settle anywhere, anyway." She murmured and then continued walking on.

[Travishnu]

Ronbun shook his head, "I'm so sorry..." He walked up, standing beside her, he reached out with his fingers to touch her hand. "I guess I shouldn't jump to conclusions." He took a deep breath and let out his secret, "I wouldn't have lowered the barrier in the trial room even if they had killed me. It was specially designed to send you somewhere else if I had died.

Ko quickly stopped and turned so she was facing him, raising her hand away from his. She stared at him for a moment. "Why does that matter?" She shook her head and got a bit flustered, "Why do you keep wanting to help me!?"
