"Where is he?"
"How should I know? He wandered off, as usual." He sighed loudly, moving slowly beneath the trees. Tobi had once again, wandered off, and hadn't returned. Leaving the plant man known as Zetsu behind. Golden eyes moved over the green forest, searching for the masked man's chakra, which shouldn't have been hard to find. His chakra was a dark orange red, far from his own green chakra. So far, he had found no trace of said chakra, and so continued to walk. Tobi could take care of himself ( no matter how stupid he acted ), but he couldn't help but wonder where he had gone.
"Stop being such a pansy. He'll be fine, he always is." Darker side of him spoke up, causing him to sigh loudly. It was often tiring to have two different personalities. Constantly arguing with himself.
"I am well aware of that. I am simply curious of where he keeps running off to..." This had happened on several occasion. Tobi had disappeared for a few hours, and had popped up, always managing to locate him. At first, he didn't mind, but when a pattern had begun to emerge, he had grown increasingly agitated at the constant vanishing act. Sighing softly, he continued on his way, plant appendages around his head parting so he had a wider range of vision. He sensed no one around him, but he knew that he could be attacked at any time. He disliked fighting, preferring to be an observer, which was why he was the unofficial spy of the Akatsuki.
"...I'm tired." He muttered to himself, reaching up to rub his forehead.
"Then rest. We've been walking all night, before the idiot decided to leave us." He nodded, agreeing with himself once more. He sat down, his back pressed against a tree. Fly trap jaws closed slightly, but not completely. Golden eyes stared out between jaws, seeming to glow as he watched for any sign of moment. He didn't relax, just simply quieted his mind, allowing himself to hear the world around him. The sky was turning a deep maroon color, alerting him that it would be dark soon, which ment that Tobi had been gone for...4 hours? Maybe more. Shaking his head, he became still, finally relaxing slightly.

The wind blew past a dark haired figured, carrying the tune he was humming many miles away. If anyone walked by, they would think a young boy was enjoying himself on a cool day. "Tobi wonders where Zetsu-san is?" He asked aloud tot himself. You would never confuse this boy for an Akatsuki Member, but in his case, looks are defiantly deceiving.
Tobi had wandered off from Zetsu, for the billionth time this week. He was always in search of something, let it be a bug, or something more important. But it was normally a bug. Or a butterfly. Tobi sighed as the butterfly flew off. He ran after it, tripping on a rock. Or maybe it was a root of the giant nearby tree. "Ohf!" Was his sound effect for this fall.
"That hurt..." He said to himself, readjusting the swirled mask on his face. It had almost fallen off in the fall. Which did happen a lot, when no one was ever around. He knew people were getting suspicious of him always disappearing, except for the few who knew his true identity. He had hidden his chakra today, just for a few minutes of alone time to catch the runaway butterfly.
Sighing a he rubbed his head, Tobi took off his chakra block, letting everyone know he was there, chasing a butterfly. He looked around, trying to spot Zetsu, which only took a few minutes, seeing as his chakra stood out a bit from the rest of the green.
"Hi Zetsu-san!" Tobi shouted walking up to Zetsu. "How are you doing?" He was utterly ignoring the fact that Zetsu was half asleep on the dark forest floor.

Eyes opened at sudden flare of chakra, which he recognized as no other then Tobi's. Ah, so he had finally decided to show himself, alerting Zetsu to his presence a few moment earlier by tripping over protruding root of giant tree. He hadn't thought it was Tobi, and had made no move to make himself known. Now he knew who it was, he sighed softly in annoyance. Plant appendages parted to reveal two colored face, both sides regarding the other with annoyance.
"Hello Tobi.Took you long enough brat." Comment from darker side was ignored as he silently got to his feet, glancing upward at the sky, which was barely visible from under dense tree canopy. But decreasing light told him that night would fall soon, and they would need to set up camp, whether it be in a village or in the forest. He doubted a village would be nearby, forest was dense here and few roads cut though this part. They would have to make camp in a clearing somewhere.
Turning to Tobi, he couldn't help but smirk slightly. "Come Tobi. We have to make camp." With statement made, he would turn, and would begin walking in the opposite direction of the road, heading into denser forest. He glanced behind him, making sure that Tobi was following him. Although knowing the masked man, he would most likely be distracted by something, most likely forcing Zetsu to drag him along to make sure he didn't wander off. He was...like a child at times, which was amusing to the plant man.
"Honestly, how did he get into the Akatsuki? He's dead weight.""You know perfectly well that he isn't as clumsy as many would like to think. He's quite powerful.""I know, but the idiot act is...annoying." He sighed again, stopping the conversation with himself. He paused, looking around. They had reached a small clearing, not very large or bright, but a clearing none the less. He nodded to himself, and moved toward single tree growing in the middle of the clearing...which was odd actually. Trees rarely grew alone, but it was natural formation from what he could tell. "We'll make camp here." He spoke to Tobi, before falling silent. He was not a very talkative person, compared to Tobi that was.

"Zetsu-san!" Tobi said cheerfully, "Guess what Tobi was watching today?" Even if you couldn't see it, Tobi had a wide grin on his face underneath the mask. He obviously did wait for the bland, 'What?' Zetsu would soon respond with, "A butterfly! And it was flying around Tobi! It was pretty!"
He followed Zetsu towards where they would soon be making camp, and looked up. He saw the butterfly again, but he was able to stop himself from following it. "Zetsu! It's the butterfly!" He almost missed hitting a branch, which knocked him down. He rubbed him head, "Owie..." He had a sweatdrop on his head. "That's the second time today! Tobi always get hurt chasing butterflies..."
He noticed Zetsu was far ahead of him. "Zetsu-san!!! Wait for Tobi!!!" He ran after him, dodging the branch this time. Tobi looked up again and watched the sky turn darker, while still watching out for things to run into. The butterfly disappeared again, making him sad. He knew Zetsu was watching him, and kept looking up.
He soon got vividly lost, but only for a moment, before realizing that Zetsu was in front of him still. "Why are you talking to yourself?" Tobi asked looking down at Zetsu. He was tried of keeping his head up, "Tobi wants to know why..." He looked out into the clearing, amazed at how it was just there. But that was Tobi for you, not realizing anything until the last moment.
Tobi began to run around, trying to find things to help build camp. He knew that it would be a fun job. "Tobi's going to make a fire!" Everyone who heard that would know it was a bad idea, but Tobi kept at it.

Choosing not to respond to Tobi's question about him bickering with himself, which happened often, he turned his attention to the excited boy, who was proclaiming that he was going to make a fire...not a good idea. The last time Tobi had attempted to 'help' by making a fire, which had resulted in Zetsu practically being set on fire...Not a pleasant experience, nor one he wanted to repeat. Glancing at Tobi, he would walk over to running boy, and would simply step in front of him. Looking down at Tobi, he smiled down at him, although darker side remained indifferent.
"I'll start the fire Tobi. You...go find something to eat." He avoided saying 'us', since he doubted Tobi would like eating human flesh. No, Tobi could find something to eat, and Zetsu would find his own food, although it would probably be an animal rather then a human. It made no difference to him though. However Tobi chose to respond, ( and what a number of reactions he had! ) he would turn, looking for a place to start a fire. He didn't like fire very much, unlike Itachi who seemed to delight in using fire Justus. So, Zetsu set about clearing a small area by the lone tree, arranging rocks around the small dirt circle he had created.
He started the fire carefully, making sure that none of the embers jumped onto his cloak, which in turn would set him on fire again. Ignoring his own gnawing hunger, he patiently waited for Tobi, back pressed up against lone tree, flickering fire casting an eerie glow over his face.
"Ugh, can we find something to eat? I starving!""Is food all your can think about? We have to wait for Tobi to get back." Darker side became silent, but thoughts were dark and annoyed. The image of Tobi trying to persuade someone to give their food to him came to his mind, making him snicker. What a sight that would be...Tobi was odd indeed. And his child like attitude definitely brightened up Zetsu's life...Pushing the thought away, he began to slip into sleep as before, hoping that when Tobi did return, he wouldn't do something stupid to wake him. Like tackle him, or begin to poke him...but the boy was highly unpredictable.

Tobi frowned when Zetsu didn't answer, but decided to ignore it. He was too busy starting a fire, or looking for the butterfly. No one could tell what he was really doing. He was... Just staring out into the distance. As Zetsu walked in front of the 'fire' Tobi looked up and him, with his head tilted. He smiled back up at Zetsu, then watched as the butterfly returned. "Pretty..." He quietly said.
"Okay!! Tobi'll find yummy food!" Tobi yelled, jumping up. He ran off in a random direction and began to look for food, which would obviously take awhile, seeing as he could only find random bugs sitting on branches. After a while, he became distracted by the butterfly again. "Mr. Butterfly! Wait for Tobi!" He yelled chasing after it.
He soon came to a stop, almost running into a tree that was covered in some sort of fruit. He soon began to climb said tree, barley making it off the ground. Anyone who was watching would have found this quite funny. "Stupid tree!" Tobi shouted kicking the tree. Of course it ended up with him holding his foot in pain.
Tobi soon ran out to where Zetsu was. It took a few minutes, seeing as he had no idea where he was, but it worked. "Zetsu-san! Guess what Tobi found!" Tobi paused a moment before continuing, "A tree with fruit! But the tree hurt Tobi..." He ended with a sweatdrop on his forehead. He the noticed Zetsu was half-asleep again. Thinking for a moment, he decided to poke Zetsu. Which he then proceeded to do.

The half-asleep Zetsu growled darkly as he was poked by a certain person, deciding on whether or not to ignore Tobi. If he did, Tobi would probably begin poking him more, which would be even more annoying. So, he choose to wake up, even though he wanted nothing more then to sleep. Golden eyes glanced at Tobi, frowning down at him.
"What?" Was his reply, filled with annoyance as he waited for an answer. As he did so, stomach would growl loudly, but Zetsu attempted to ignore it. As Tobi would begin to explain himself, a thought crossed is mind...What did Tobi taste like? As soon as thought emerged, he would immediately label it as taboo. Darker side chuckled in his head, taunting him as Tobi did whatever.
'You know we can't eat Tobi!' 'Pssh, who's gonna know?' 'Itachi will know, and he'll kill us.' 'Hmph, he can't find us if we do not wanting to be found.' 'That's besides the point...we can't eat Tobi.' 'Come on...you know you want to.' 'Stop it!' He silently augmented in his head, not paying attention to whatever Tobi choose to do, but Zetsu would stop the argument in his head, glancing down at Tobi. He hadn't heard a word the boy had said, so he would stare blankly.
"What did you say Tobi?" He asked again, sighing loudly as he got up, glancing down at Tobi. When story of the tree 'hurting' Tobi, he would smile at him, nodding. "I'll get the fruit then Tobi. You stay here." Hopefully, the boy wouldn't get into trouble...although many things could go sour...probably including the butterfly that Tobi seemed quite intent on chasing the bug. Sighing, he approached the tree with the fruit, glancing up at it...Those fruits were poisioness...Well, at least Tobi hadn't eaten any of them. Turning back toward where their camp as located, he headed toward their camp, approaching the fire.

Tobi jumped back at Zetsu's growl. He didn't like it when Zetsu growled. "Uh-oh. Tobi made Zetsu-san mad." He said laughing childish like. He was prepared to find another method to wake Zetsu up with, but the growl made him reconsider it, seeing as he really didn't want to be eaten by a giant plant man.
Tobi smiled under his mask when Zetsu talked and repeated what he said earlier, "Tobi found a tree with fruit! But the tree hurt Tobi so he came to ask Zetsu to get the fruit for him." Of course he had utterly forgotten that Zetsu didn't eat fruit. "Tobi will share the fruit too!" He added as Zetsu's stomach growled. He stared, scared when the darker side laughed. He didn't like Zetsu's darker side at all.
Tobi tilted his head when Zetsu looked, distant. "Zetsu-san? Tobi wants to know what happened..." He was referring to what looked like Zetsu talking to himself. "Zetsu-san, you didn't listen to Tobi did you?" Tobi said in an all to knowing voice. He looked over to where the tree was. "And Tobi's hungry..."
Tobi watched Zetsu as he got up, and he followed. Looking up, he saw the butterfly once again, and followed it instead. He was immensely entertained by it. He waited as patiently for Zetsu to get down the fruit, his stomach growling. He hadn't eaten much today, and of course his hunger would set in now. "Hurry Zetsu-san! Tobi is really hungry. And Tobi is happy that the butterfly is back!"

Zetsu watched in amusement as Tobi chased after the butterfly, remaining silent as the boy proclaimed how hungry he was. He was still puzzled about how the boy got so easily distracted by a simple bug...he sometimes appeared to not be all there, or at least his mind was fragmented. Sighing, he waited made his way back to the center of the camp, looking at Tobi.
"Tobi, that fruit is poisonous. It would be unwise to eat it. And stop chasing that butterfly!" Darker side snapped at Tobi, glaring darkly at him. Zetsu let out an annoyed sigh, wondering how he had gotten stuck with a split personality. "Oh, so now you don't like it?!" Dark remark made him frown, before he responded back. "Hush. don't be so snappy." This remark of course, sent Zetsu into a full blown argument with himself.
"Maybe if Tobi wasn't such an idiot, we wouldn't be in this mess!" "Oh, very mature, trying to place the blame on Tobi." "It is his fault, the idiot...So why don't we just eat him?" "...You know we can't do that!" "Come on!" "No! Stop it!" "Well, you wanted to, not me..." "Shut up." "Make me!" Argument would be cut off as fly traps snapped shut, muffled growls and snappy remarks coming from inside as Zetsu continued arguing with himself. This had happened on numerous times before, but darker side had never mentioned the fact that Zetsu had thought about eating Tobi.
Arguement would cease, fly traps opening to reveal a very agitated Zetsu. Glancing at Tobi, where ever he was, he would turn, heading toward the tree he had been sitting against early. Sitting down, he remained silent, glaring darkly at the crackling fire, once again ignoring Tobi. He had blocked out the thoughts of his other side, and didn't bother to speak as he watched the flames. He would most likely stay quiet for the next few hours, if not more.

"But..But Tobi's hungry!!!" Tobi began to complain. He was fairly hungry, seeing as he had not eaten all day. The butterfly flew past him, and he was tempted to follow it. He was able to stop himself, seeing as he didn't want Zetsu to eat him. That'd be bad. He was just stuck watching the butterfly tempt him to chase it.
Tobi laughed as Zetsu argued with himself. It was always entertaining to watch something like this go on. At least if you were use to it. You'd probably freak out if it happened to you for the first time, which happened to Tobi the first hundred times. Sitting down, he waited, twitting his fingers, waiting for Zetsu to finish. Once he was, Tobi proceeded to complain.
He followed Zetsu to the tree and sat down next to him. "Zetsu-san! Tobi's hungry!" Tobi said poking Zetsu. No one liked Tobi when he was hungry. He would complain, poke, and have fits until he was fed. Well, sometimes he did.
Of course, soon the butterfly appeared again. Tobi, who seemingly forgot about what Zetsu said, went after it. It also seemed as if he forgot he was hungry, which was good for Zetsu's sanity.
