Shikamaru kneed down behind a tree. He peaked out from his hiding spot to see Kusan, throw many Kunai and shuriken's with exploding tags attached, at a random spot. He also saw Kusan attack a tree with chidori cutting it cleanly in half. Shikamaru then sat back. "I've seen that technique somewhere before...." Shikamaru closed his eyes and tried to remember. Thats when it hit him. He had saw Sasuke use it in the chuunin exams back when he, himself was still a genin. He knew that the technique was deadly and he had to avoid it at all costs.
Shikamaru got into his little thinking stance. He closed his eyes and begun to think of a plan. As if one was already their, Shikamaru opened his eyes not 2 minutes after getting into his stance. He then made a hand signs and the area where he was at, was clouded with smoke once more. As if by Deju Vu, two Shikamaru's appeared out of the smoke, each with 4 shuriken in one of their hands. They released the shuriken's all aiming for Kusan.

Kusan blocked by putting his arms in front of his face,however,that didn't work,all 8 shurken hit,4 in each arm.He then said "Katsu" and with that he said "This time,its over" kusan jumped up and threw one exploding tag at shikamru and deacavted his sharningan so he can use his best technquie.

Both Shikamaru's covered their arms, as the kunai got close it exploded msending one Shikamaru into a tree, then poofing and the otehr Shikamaru down onto the forest floor, smoke surronded that Shikamaru as well. Shikamaru then appeared out from behind a tree, with a kunai in his hands. He lunged forward at Kusan and struke at Kusan's head, aiming to cut it clean off with a kunai.

Kusans clone exploded when it got hit and then real kusan bursted out with chidori acavted,he came out form the smoke and had targeted shikamaru.But if you looked at his eyes,they looked like he was,of rin fact,he kidna was.The blind eye was acavted and he can see through the smoke due to him seeing the heat and natural electrical field going on around a humans body.

Shikamaru saw it as a clone, and quickly looked around. He spotted Kusan, yet with a different eye color. Shikamaru also noticed that his was using chidori once more. Shikamaru smiled as he pulled out two kunai, a wire was attached to connect the two kunai togetheir. Shikamaru held them out from eachother, and as the chidori hit Shikamaru, the kunai's started to wrap around Kusan's body. Shikamaru then poofed into a puff of smoke. Then Shikamaru rose up from the forest ground, his hands already in a seal form, his shadow began to fly toward Kusan.
Ooc: If your wondering why Shikamaru rose up from the forest ground, let me tell you. Remember when I did that two shikamaru's rom the smoke the second go around? Well only one was a bunshin. remember when the second Shikamaru got hit and fell down to the ground floor and it looked like it pooed, but that was SHikamaru letting go of a smoke bomb, to make it look like it was a bunshin. ^_^ Oh and there goes your second Chidoiri.

Kusan looked at this and said "Katsu" then tried thinking of a way out of this but the only way to do this would require exact timing.He then said "Nara,you have won,shadow vs shanringan is a nice fight" he said,but inside the fihgt wasn't over,kusan was goona win

Shikamaru smiled and sighed as his shadow connected with Kasun. Shikamaru was tired, all of his bunshin making had took a tole on him. However he still could fight. Shikamaru then sighed. "Okay first off, if your a star ninja why are you in konoha? Don't answer yet. Why did you attack me out of the blue and how do you know who I am? I want the truth." Shikamaru finished speaking and waited for the assassin to speak.

usan said "I travel the world,i go were were ever i can find work,and you were on a list i found,and i have every single ninja above gennin in my bingo books,and now,you die" he said.He closed his eyes then re opened and they were pure white.Chakra started forming from his feet to his chest,breaking him free then said with like a back ground voice "Die Shikamaru Nara" and with that he dove at him using chidori
ooc:this is were he overly exerts his chakra and is about to end battle in tie or lost or soemthing

Shikamaru's eyes widened when his kage mane and his kunai wires were broken. Shikamaru watched as the eyes of Kusan were pure white and yet another chidori formed in his hand. Think fast Shikamaru! As if by a miracle, Shikamaru came up with a split second idea. Shikamaru then formed his signature handisgn, then formed another one. The many kunai's and shuriken that were thrown in battle, shined in the light creating a small yet usable shadow. These shadows started to extend toward Kusan's shadow in a desperate attempt to stop him.
