Shu was walking through the dense forest. He eventually stopped by a river and sat down. ''Man I'm tired. I'm still surprised I got past the ANBU without being seen.'' Shu just stared toward the sky.

The seventeen year old jounin snapped his glove back on. He was standing in the middle of a dense part in the forest; a quick scouting around with his sharingan and back the the hokage's office with the report. Everything seemed fine, until he activated his sharingan once more. He picked up a faint foreign chakra, faint, but there nonetheless. Deciding to check it out, Sasuke headed off in it's direction. Upon reaching the spot, he found himself peeking at a mere child. His sharingan activated, he noticed no genjutsu. Moving in on the young boy, he spoke in a demanding, yet tried to make his voice sound softer in the presence of a kid. "What are you doing out here?"

Shu jumped up, surprised. "Um, uh, uh, I was just out walking and uh...'' Shu was stuttering and speaking very quickly, for he was afraid. Shu didn't know any ninja techniques, he didn't even know any hand signs. He only knew very basic Taijutsu.

It was very obvious that the boy was even a little frightened of Sasuke. Or perhaps he was just nervous. Sasuke stared at him for a moment before he spoke again. "Well, where did you come from?"

Should he tell him? Shu decided he might as well. Shu looked left and right, then spoke. ''I'm from Konoha. My name is Shu Tokoyami.'' Shu just stared into Sasukes Sharingan. He might as well as act brave.

Sasuke cleared his throat. What was a child doing out in the forest like this; how did he get of it the first place. "Are you aware of the dangers out here? There could be rogue-ninja anywhere," Sasuke said the last part looking from side-to-side.

“I just wanted to get some fresh air and maybe do some survival training; to prepare for when I enter the Academy this year. It's funny, I just walked past the ANBU and they didn't even notice me.” “Noone notices me...” Shu added quietly.

He hasn't entered the academy yet..? Sasuke listened to him and caught the last part of his speech. "How old are you?" Uchiha Sasuke asked out of curosity. He did look young, but something was off.

Sasuke's black eyes widened for a second, but said no more. Taking it upon himself, he requested the child to come with him so he could escort him back home. "I hope you to comply?"
