Kogashu Fuuma, Junchuuriki and jounin for the Village Hidden in the sound sat in the empty arena, waiting. He was fairly upset by his opponent's lack of punctuality. He climbed up to one of the rocks and sat on it, legs crossed. His eyes swept across the battle field, taking in the layout and the locations of places. He eyed the water. Thee was water here. His opponent was done for. He quickly hopped off the rock and began to systematically lay traps all around the arena. He laid a trap on the arena door that he felt would work well. It was a piece of string that would be cut by the door opening. When the trap was engaged, a flurry of kunai would be released and land in the ground about to where his opponent would be standing. And with a small release seal, they would explode.
He laid traps throughout the arena, hidden from sight. Some on the rocks, in the water, all over. He would win this fight for the glory of Oto. And he would have fun killing them too.

Adamaru stepped up to the closed door that lead to the arena where his opponent stood. He examined the door and pushed it open slowly. He chuckled and let the door close again. "Trapping the door before your opponent enters it? He said to himself but loudly enough that those who were listening could hear him. "Very well." He took a few steps back and performed a set of hand-seals. "Air Pulse!" He said and thrusts his hands toward the door sending a burst of wind crashing into the door and breaking the wood to splinters in the air. He waited a moment for the possible trap to be set off hoping none of the scraps of wood snapped the wire by the door. "I'm not gonna be taken out by a trap at the begining of a fight." He said and thrusted another burst of wind at his opponent.

"A resourceful ninja is a ninja who stays alive. I do not plan to die here." He said before the door was blasted open. The wire wasn't cut, but the blast of air knocked the wire from its place above the door, sending the trap in motion. A flurry of kunai rocketed towards him. Kogashu smiled and and formed a release hand seal, causing them to erupt in a fiery explosion. Whether it worked or not, remained to be seen. He quickly performed a water clone jutsu and hid his real self while the clone stood where he once did.

Adamaru redrew his fist and sent out another burst into the middle of the fiery onrush causing the force of the wind to draw the fire in and implode on itself sending it out it's own backside and out of the door way in an explosion of ignited oxygen. It would leave the air burnt our slightly in the area of the door but it would fade quickly. He used the distraction of the explosion to charge enemy. He placed his hand on the sword hilt on his side to start off with the fast draw, this technique is intended to draw the sword and cut down the opponent in the same action. It angles down from the scabbard diagonally upward towards the shoulders.
