Within the minds of every human on Earth is a land of make believe known as the Dreamworld. This odd plane of reality serves as a living place for the creatures and extraordinary beings, known as the Yume, born from our happiest memories and dream, who each has a link to their human creator. In the near, a strange and unknown occurrence causes the Dreamworld and our planet to combine into a composite world, which also causes many of the Dreamworld natives to transforms into the murderous monsters known as the Akumu, who creates a "barrier" world between the two sides known only as Limbo. Now, with the Akumu terrorizing both worlds, and a growing number of humans finding the links to their Dreamworld counterparts, the fate of everything lies with those who wish to save or destroy the new "world"...
