Souzou looked at Suraisu. "Umm...how am i gonna get down?" He had never been this high up in a tree before.

Suraisu looked up at Souzou. "Simple. If you can't make the direct fall, leap from tree to tree until you get down. I am not going to help you get down, you have to do this on your own." Being independent was part of a shinobi's life, but teamwork was a big part too.

Souzou steadied his feet. Whispering to himself he said, "Ok on three; one, two...two and a half, two and three quarters." He was scared and stalling but Sam flipped down from the tree limb above Souzou hanging by his feet. "Just jump fish brains. "He said nudging Souzou forward. His only options were leap for the next limb or fall to the ground possibly killing himself. He went forward and pushed off the limb with his feet landing him with enough force that, when mixed with his own adrenaline, caused him to leap forward to the next branch and in that fashion made his way down to the ground leaning into the dirt as he landed. He stood and brushed himself off as his hands were still shaky. He turned and yelled up at Sam for pushing him outta the tree not realizing how it was for his own good. That was something he would have to figure out on his own.

Suraisu began to clap slowly, and gradually picked up the momentum after he noticed the boy was quite alright. "Good job! Looks like you are progressing very quickly. It looks like by the end of the day you'll have this down easy. Quicker than I did." He then instructed the boy to try it again. He would have him do it until it was second nature. Like breathing. After tree climbing they would follow with water walking, and then learning jutsu would be after that. He would teach the boy to use that bijuu and become insanely powerful in the process.

Souzou scratched his leg with his toes. "What are we going to do next mister?" He asked.

"Water walking." Suraisu said without glancing at the boy. "The trick here is the same, but a bit harder. You see, to climb up a tree, you need to force chakra to your feet in an equal amount. If you put too much, you'll damage the tree and be pushed back. If you put too little, you just slip right off. It requires that right balance. But water is different from a tree. A tree will not move, and therefore your chakra will not need to be adjusted when you get the right amount. But the water moves, and you must constantly put out enough chakra to balance on the waves, and this level of chakra is always changing. Once you master it, you can do it without thinking." With that, Suraisu walked out onto the water and stood on top of it.

Souzou looked at the water with slight distaste. He spoke quietly, "Umm, i can't swim." He admitted his hydrophobia has kept him from going into water that was higher than his knees.
