Reminisce {Hinata}

The morning air was crisp and biting. The sun was barely peeking over the distant trees; the only audible sounds were the timid chirps of birds, up before their hour. Neji, too, was up early. He wrapped his arms over his chest grudgingly, a cold scowl plastered on his face. He hadn't slept well last night.

Taunting, tantalizing dreams had plagued his sleep. He had never responded well to nightmares. He had nothing to fear except for the future... and the past. Especially the past. And it had been invading his thoughts a lot lately. It had been hammering him hard from the very moment he closed his eyes. So he wouldn't sleep, he decided.

The humid, milky air encased him like a blanket. The traditional Hyuuga robe he always wore was neither appropriate for battle nor insulated. He strongly considered an outfit change. The stinging jaws of winter bit into his exposed arms, but he did not shiver. He simply stared on.

Hinata wake up streching her arms up in the air,moaning softly as she touched one of her cheecks softly with one finger,then rolling her eyes with both ahnds.She was wearing a fish mesh shirt and pants.She washed herself,changing her mesh shirt for another one,changing her pants and putting her blu and white with ying yang symbol on back jacket on,zipping it all up,Then slwoly brushing her long hair.She Walked outside of her room,her feeth barely making a sound.The hyuga compound was surely a big place,she rapidly but agile walked near each of the doors of each room,including neji´s,she looked to both sides her hair moving gracefully as she did,she moved a hair that was covering her sighting.She walked rapdily near Neji´s room,making a toc toc sound as her feeth pressed againts the wood of the floor,maybe neji figured she was out early and will probably try to make her go back to sleep or explain why she was out.Hinata didnñt want everyone to know about her training sesssion.

The morning was absolutely frigid. He almost considered going back inside, but then he would only find himself pacing the floorboards of his room once again. The soothing breeze hissed through the trees, coaxing his hair into a dance. Neji snared the flyaway strands and wrapped a white cord around them, holding them obediently.

An arrhythmic pattering in the hallway commanded Neji's attention. He turned his head to see Hinata running past. From his position on the steps, he was hardly visible from her line of sight. Still, he had no doubt that she would notice him. He was interested in hearing an explanation for why she was up so early.

Hinata tried to open the door,but she was not as dum,she needed to see if there was someone near,she didn´t need Byakugan for that,so she turned her head from side to side,hearing the birds singing,and her gaze meets Neji´s ones unexpectedly.She coudn´t believe she had just got busted.She nervously brushed her hair,as she slowly walked looking at the floor to neji,his eyes where everythign she needed,they said "Come here-i need an explanation" so Hinata walked to Neji and vowed.

"H-...H-Hello Neji-neechan" Hinata said slowly still looking at the floor. "G-good....Morning...." she then added,brushing her hair faster-much more faster.

Neji sighed and closed his eyes. Hinata wasn't supposed to be up at this hour, and was expressly forbidden from leaving the Hyuuga Compound, especially without supervision. Neji supposed that this would be his job this morning.

"Hinata-sama, you're out of bed," Neji said quietly, thinking about his own dilemma. "Were you unable to sleep?"

He stared at his younger cousin questioningly. Her blue hair was lightly ruffled from sleep, and stirred gently in the wind. He patiently awaited an explanation.

"I-i...." Hinata taked courage from...nowhere aparently and lied "I..well...yes i couldn´t sleep,i don´t know why...." Hinata lied and avoided eye contact with neji.

The wind was wildly moving the tree in the hyuuga compound,and Hinata could feel her hair moving,her cloths where too heavy so they didn´t move.
Hinata looked at the bandages covering her weapon pouch-full of different weapons and medical equipment,then back at Neji,nervously palying with her fingers.

Neji's gaze flicked from Hinata's blushing face down to her tentative fingers, prodding at each other shyly. This was a common Hinata gesture. He had seen it many times, having most recently made an appearance in his goading dream...

He chose to ignore it. He didn't know what her true motives were... but he would cut her some slack. He didn't want Hinata's morning to begin with a condescending lecture on Main Family policy.

"I see," he murmured, looking back out at the yard. "You should probably go back to bed. Hiashi-sama won't want you wandering around alone."

Hinata looked up,mouth open,she knew Neji catched the lie,but he still helped her!
"T-thanks Neji...I will...." Hinata said,as she walked some steps away,then turned back.

"D-do.....Do you....want to train with me...l-later?" Hinata finally asked,her face and cheecks flushing in a reddish blush.

Some birds fled near them, both,it looked that the tree in middle of the compound was their nesting place.

Neji closed his eyes and smirked. So that was it.

"Determined as usual," he said somewhat approvingly. "Is that where you were off to, Hinata-sama?"

He shook his head and looked back up at her. The Hyuuga compound was still asleep, contented sighs resonating from the window nearest them. He almost envied them, soundly sleeping and safe in their own beds. And yet, they were both out here, defying the night with their probing thoughts.

"Why so early?" He questioned, staring at the clouds. "Why not wait for someone to accompany you?"

Hinata gazed at him,brushign ehr hair again.

"yes,i was h-heading there...." Hinata said "and...i dont wanted everyone to know about my training!" Hinata said looking at neji,she was smiling now at Neji because of his comprehension.
"I went early...because that way no-one would see me" Hinata added.
