Midnight at the Training field. It was always silent, quiet, and often had more than enough posts destroyed by morning. Kitru sighed as he looked over the silent place. Jumping down from the tree he had been in, he landed gracefully on his feet. Looking around the silent place, he wondered silently if it was wise to be here. It felt a bit strange to him for some reason... He stepped near a pole and quickly struck it, his hands obviously faster than he usually did. The pole broke in half, but from something else: A small sword he had hidden under his sleeve. He tried to get better at this, and it was working quite well. He didn't want to kill anyone, yet had so much in his mind at the moment that he wanted to take it all in stride. After a few hours of constant going at it, he finally stopped the beatings of not only himself, but of the training ground. he was sweating, but very happy with his results. Just like he thought, his attacks could use chakra as long as he fed it gently through the blade. Nothing like the chidori's destructive power, it was a mere understanding of what he was doing.
"G-good. I-I got th-this down..." He panted, wiping his forehead. The talk with Rikiddo was inspiring for the young male. It had made him think again of what he needed to be to make a dream real. Sliding his blade into it's sheath on his side, it blended with his black pants. He picked up his black shirt from the ground, and wiped his forehead with it. His hair slipped into his eyes as a blow of cold wind made him shiver in pleasure. It felt great to be like this. He wanted to keep going, but he knew he'd easily fall asleep out here if he kept this up too much. It happened before. Looking around, he thought he had seen someone. He didn't get as defensive as he usually would, and he looked up to the moon. It was about four in the morning, and he didn't want to stick around for when the sun came up. He preferred to be at his apartment watching it by then. He never did like the attention of so many people. He had relaxed his body and looked at the post. It was pretty much cut up badly. No saving the poor thing. He smiled at his own work and looked back to the moon. It glared in his eyes like a silver animal. It was reflecting his own heart in a way, the need for family and love so great in his heart.

As his attention averted to the moon, a loud crack rang out through the night, from the direction of the post. Striken with pinpoint accuracy in two of the larger faults, it ripped through, splitting it into three jagged pieces. A girl with blond hair and all-sky-blue clothes performed a spinning roundhouse kick on the one piece that remained standing, completely leveling it. She looked to Kitru, her golden eyes wild with her split pupils seeming to pierce through him. "I saw you training, Leaf nin. You're pathetic." Sure enough, the plate on her headband showed she was from the Sound Village, though she couldn't be a higher rank than Genin. "If you would say otherwise, say it with your actions. I'd like a fight before I take your life... and your headband as proof."

Kitru looked over, seeing the girl. She was fast, and it was rare for him to actually meet anyone here. "... You're quite strong, but you're not exactly anything I'd like to go after. If I fight you, I might kill you." He frowned, his body relaxing instantly. He didn't often do this, but he felt that if he let his body heal a moment, he'd be good to fight. He felt his muscles tense with warning, and smirked. "Seeing as I was training and not fighting, you'll see a difference." He took a stance and stepped back a bit, giving himself distance. He pulled out his small sword, eyes watching her. The blinded eye showed him the chakra, and his sighted one gave him a full view. "... Why don't you show me what you're worth, and maybe I'll actually fight you with all my strength." He watched her and pointed his small blade at her, his grip filled with chakra.
"I know I'm not a common sight in any village, but I'm not going to let just anyone take me down." He had a darker tone inn his voice, more serious. Like he knew this would be needed.

Taka grinned, then began to laugh. "Big words for a whelp. You have no idea what I'm capable of, and more importantly, you have no idea what you aren't capable of. Defeating me, for instance." Her Torigan still active, she was shocked by the number of targets across his body. He had healing and improperly healed wounds all across his body. "It seems that you've been your own worst enemy... Which makes me your new worst enemy." Rushing in at Kitru with startling speed, she went in with a flurry of Hawk-talon strikes, picking out the freshest of his wounds with her keen eyes, and attempting to tear them back open with powerful pin-pointed strikes.

Barely dodging her attack, he screamed when she dug into his wrist with the strike. He toppled to the ground, onto his knees, and shook out of pain. "How... how the fuck?" He gripped his wrist and started to heal it. He didn't know how long she would give him., so he only half-halfheartedly healed the cut. Standing fast, and tightened his grip on his blade... she was fast, and he had noticed her eyes. "You're... you're pretty good. You sure like to give someone a good run, eh?" He smiled and slid the blade against his arm, where he had been bleeding. The blood filled the symbol and he smirked. Her chakra was impressive, but his was greater. He jumped back and let his blood drop on the ground. Looking around a second, he figured that it would be best to hit the ground about here. He watched her, then took out the crystal kunai that he had received from Rikiddo... the blade was sharp. He cut it in his open wound, and let the blood cover his blade a bit more. He smirked and watched for her...
"Let's get this started." He charged at his opponnet, knowing with the wound dripping out the life-blood, he was grow weak fast. But he knew he could do it. He was a shielded monster, yet a pure soul at the same time.

"I like to make my opponents think they stand a chance... and then I destroy them." She said, smirking. She charged in to meet Kitru, ducking low and sliding at the last moment, kicking upwards, aiming for one of Kitru's floating ribs, one of the most likely bones to dislodge and cause intense pain upon breaking. With any luck, she would also lift him into the air for a follow-up attack.

Kitru watched her and jumped up when he saw her try to go under him. He brought his blade down above her and when he felt it strike the ground, he jumped away as a loud noise made his ears throb. The chakra he had built up in it caused the ground to implode a bit, and he flipped to grab the blade before she could. He landed opposite of her, and opened his eyes. One scanned her, and the other showed him where to strike. She had indeed kicked him, but she had knocked off his armor he had over his stomach. That fact made him nervous. He watched her, tense as a snarling wolf. He wanted to charge again, but thought ill of that idea. She knew where to hit, and it was going to make this fight a lot harder.
"You're no idiot. I'll give you that." He had a dark tone again, like his voice seemed to harness two hearts. This one seemed more serious... more deadly. This was just an ounce of his potential. He planned on winning this fight. He ran for her, slashing at her from behind with his blade. Sadly, he knew he'd also be open, seeing as his blade was shorter than a normal katana would ever be.
