Ronbun surveyed the barren wasteland that was the sand village, and then at the edge of the country. Would crossing this line mark him as a Missing Nin? Would he be a disgrace? Would they hate him? He looked to Ko, and took a deep breath and crossed the line, feeling every connection he once had sever.

Ko blinked at him and then simply continued walking. "That 'freedom' feeling dies fast." She murmured faintly as she walked ahead. She kept to a slow pace till he could keep up, but still wanted to get some distance between herself and sunagakure. "Why do you have to travel with me, anyway?" she muttered; obviously unhappy with the thought.

Ko stared at him flatly. "That's all?" she spoke softly, "I'm sure I can match up to him with the information we have on your clan..." Ko rolled her eyes at how he turned away. "Look; if you plan to drag me into this; It's going to take some work. I intend to go to Ame no Kuni next, not Oto."

Ronbun shrugged and said, "That's ok, he attacked there recently, and now the trail has gone cold...so that would be the perfect place to start." He looked at her hopefully, "Will you help? I just have trouble finding him, but I can fight him." He didn't mention all the times his brother almost killed him.

Ko stopped and turned to stare him in the eyes. "How are you sure you can trust me? For all You know, he could be one of my allies." She muttered, "Hell, I don't even know if he is one of my allies or not."

Ko stopped walking, but only for a moment. She seemed to shiver with anger before she continued walking again. "Fine, but I just want to find a place to camp out then..." she muttered.
