He took a moment to collect his thoughts. His mind was merely a blur as he thought of the correct choice words.
He didn't want to come off the wrong way..but that was hard considering what the creature had done in the past. All of the death and destruction. All of that that had happened while Naruto was under possession.
The teen sighed and found his words.
Hehe...this should be interesting.
"Satoshi....you know that great war 18 years ago? Around the time I was born? Where the demon fox attacked this village and killed so many people...."
He cringed. The Kyuubi had helped him relive many of the memories of the battle, of the death.
"...My father, the first Yondaime. He...he...used the Evil Sealing jutsu and sealed away the fox in one of the newborns in the village..."
He sat silent for a moment, sighing, and fighting back the thoughts.
"...I was that newborn. I am the host of that same monster that killed hundreds of ninja and innocents. I was...afraid to tell anyone, even you. I was afraid...."

She waited patiently as Naruto sat in his chair, apparently thinking to himself. Her ears perked up when she heard a sigh in the midst of the silence.
"Yeah, the fox demon...I wasn't born yet when that happened. I don't really know a lot about it..." she said, pondering to herself as she spoke. "I just know that it was defeated by the fourth Hokage...sealed away or something..."
Satoshi resumed listening to him, wondering what he was getting at. He seemed to have trouble trying to continue the explanation of his 'terrible secret.' What could Naruto have to do with the fox demon? Besides his father being the hero of the terrible event that happened so long ago.
"...the demon? The demon was sealed inside...you?"
Her voice was calm and steady. She wasn't as surprised, mainly because she hadn't witnessed the disaster, or even heard about it in detail from anyone in the village. Satoshi knew it was tragic, but she couldn't imagine something so destructive without experience. She was unable to speak for a few minutes, staring at Naruto's face.
How could someone like him hold the nine-tail fox inside? Her thoughts swirled around in her head. But the demon wasn't truly him. Just sealed inside; that didn't mean Naruto was the demon itself, ready to lash out and attack anyone at random. She finally looked up and spoke in a gentle tone.
"...it's alright." Her voice became stronger. "No problem, I'm fine with it...don't worry. Who cares if you have it inside you? You don't have to be afraid, Naruto..." her voice was faint now, but a small smile lit her face up.
Satoshi awkwardly stood there, wondering if this was the time for another hug of some sort.

He nodded his head slowly, almost as if we were becoming drowsy. He pinned his focus to his lap and sat there with his head down.
He felt a tear roll down his left cheek, sliding across his skin and causing him to wince ever so slightly.
"I'm....so weak...I mean, I can't even control my emotions now....let alone my power." He started talking to no one in particular.
"I was...not strong enough, I couldn't even keep one person from leaving...how am I Hokage with such weakness?"
He lifted his arm a bit and wiped his cheek, sniffing a bit. He turned his head away to hide it.
His blue eyes were dotted with red veins from not sleeping. His appearance, generally tired looking. He had been afraid to sleep, afraid of somehow, in the middle of the night, he would become the Kyuubi and hurt someone he cared about.
He wiped his eyes again and turned back to Satoshi.
"Heh...sorry. I must sound pretty stupid right now..."

Satoshi caught a glimpse of his tear as it traveled down his face. He was...crying? She frowned slightly, somehow knowing that she couldn't do anything to help him. She wasn't exactly the best at comforting people, especially in a situation like this.
"You don't have to be sorry," she replied quickly. Her tone changed almost immediately.
"You're the Hokage!" she answered firmly, raising an eyebrow. "And you're not weak! Stop talking about things that don't make sense! Are you just going to let the nine-tail fox ruin everything for you?"
"You're living your dream right now. Don't let something like this hold you back. I know you might be thinking that I don't know how it feels like to be in your shoes, and that's true. I have no idea what it's like. But still, you shouldn't keep yourself tied up like this!"
She paused, having no idea of what to say next. But one thing still lingered in her mind: "I was...not strong enough, I couldn't even keep one person from leaving...
"That one person you couldn't keep from leaving..." she started, wondering who it was. Her mind suddenly snapped and she remembered one name: Uchiha Sasuke. He had left years ago, and he was the number one rookie then...well, at least according to the fan girls. One of the legendary Sannin had taken him in, and he still hadn't returned. Satoshi didn't know anything past that. But it had to be him that Naruto was referring to.
"Uchiha Sasuke." She whispered his name out. A small flare of anger burned inside her. Why was Naruto putting himself down? For this guy? He had abandoned the village and his friends for his own needs. He was just a selfish jerk in her book.
"Don't blame yourself for his decision to leave."

His hand gripped his stomach in pain. He closed his eyes a moment and tried to gather himself.
You're a wreck boy....look at you...hehe
His grip only tightened as he grit his teeth and the soul that wandered near the Kyuubi's gates only stared the Kyuubi in the eye.
Shut up.
The Kyuubi grinned and stared the image right down, he bared his teeth and laughed.
Hahahaha, me? You're talking to ME like that? You must be joking!
The fox snarled and pressed a paw outwards from the gate, reaching for the boy. Trying to grip his sanity and tear it.
The image pulled back and continued staring at the demon. His face was cold and dark. He smirked.
I said, Shut. Up. Fox
And this time, the real Naruto sat in silence. His face almost dead-looking. He was pale, fighting the demon inside him. He snapped back into reality almost suddenly.
"Even if I was strong. Even if I was living my dream. It can't bring back what's lost..."
His eyes turned to a glare and he looked to Satoshi.
"It's not a matter of blaming myself. I KNOW I could have stopped him. I just...didn't try hard enough. He left to destroy his brother, it was his destiny...but Itachi is still alive, and more powerful. For all I know..." He turned his look away again. "he could be dead...."
He gripped his stomach again. He hated the past. His past had saved him, but it had tried to destroy him all the same.
His face gained strength again. He turned once more and sat thinking.
"I WILL find him..."

Satoshi saw his face pale, then quickly return to normal a split second later. His hand remained on his stomach, his expression changing to one of pain. She silently wondered if it was the demon inside him that was causing it, and calmly listened to his explanation.
"Even if I was strong. Even if I was living my dream. It can't bring back what's lost..." She looked to the ground and her eyes became dim. The words about Sasuke breezed by her ears, but she got the gist of it. He was obviously very important to Naruto.
"I WILL find him..."
"...I'm sure you will." she said cheerfully, slowly returning to her usual personality. There was an awkward silence before she spoke again.
"Well, I haven't seen you for a long time! Can't you take some time off? So we can hang out together?" Satoshi tried to change the topic, wanting to move on to something more pleasant and not so depressing. Their first meeting in months wasn't what she expected it to be, but at the same time she didn't mind that it went this way.
"Come on, please?"

He released the grip from his stomach and put his arms on the armrests on his chair. He removed the Hokage hat in the midst of the entire ordeal and had placed it behind his desk once again.
He tugged at his headband again and smiled.
"Hmm....that wouldn't be necessarily 'abandoning my post'. It's official business."
He grinned widely and took a pen and paper out from his desk and began to write on it.
Out on official shinobi business.
He slapped the paper to the desk and sealed it stuck to the desk with a piece of adhesive material to it.
"I have time now. Hehe." Naruto stood and stretched for a bit.
"Anyways, it's your turn to pick the place. Last time I dragged you to the Ichiraku, which is EXTRA amazing now that they deliver! Hah."

She inwardly sighed with relief when he grinned and jumped up from his seat. It looked like things were going to be back to normal, at least for now. She smiled at the news of the ramen stand and its new service. She would have to go back there soon, or order from it. Satoshi put a finger to her chin, thinking for a place to eat. Her stomach let out a rather loud "grrgrr" sound.
"Ah...hehe," she laughed sheepishly as the sounds continued, becoming louder and louder. "How about that place with the cakes?" she asked, her sweet tooth calling out to her. She vaguely remembered meeting up with Naruto by chance there before her leave.
"Let's go there! Cake tastes a lot different from ramen! Aren't you tired of it? You eat it everyday, don't you?" she glanced at the empty ramen cups on his desk.
She didn't wait for his reply as she dashed over to the large window near Naruto's desk. She pushed it up and stuck her head out, looking down at the busy village. The gray wings on her back moved slightly, and her stomach let out another explosive "grrrrrrrrr."
"Gah I'm dying here." She turned back to face Naruto and leaned against the edge of the window. "You mind if we travel a different way? It's faster." she asked with a grin, pointing at the folded wings behind her.
"All you have to do is hold on." she explained abruptly, putting her right hand out.

He gripped his stomach as his stomach growled in unison with Satoshi's. He sighed and swallowed once in an attempt to quiet the noises for a moment.
"Aaah, air doesn't taste good..."
His ears perked as he heard the word 'cake' pass his ears. He drooled a bit and swallowed again. His stomach growled again and began to taunt him over his hungriness.
"Cakessss? Oh THOSE cakes! Those ones that smelled like sugar! Yesss!" He lifted his arms in the air in silent (almost silent) celebration.
"But first off! A ninja needs ramen to stay fit, I shall never grow tired of the most amazing food in the world! Though cakes sound good for something a little different. Hehe."
You mind if we travel a different way? It's faster.
With those words Naruto almost gave something of an 'o-o;;' face.
"Oooh I almost forgot about your wings! Well this sounds interesting.."
He thought for a moment, and his stomach grumbled and he made up his mind right then.
"Well I'll trust you with this, I have no interest in falling on the street today."
He reached out his hand, focused stickying chakra into it, and grabbed onto Satoshi's hand, hanging on tight and almost suctioning it onto his. He looked out the window at how high up he was.

"Alright!" she shouted happily, wrapping her hand around Naruto's tightly. She turned back to the window and clumsily climbed onto the ledge. She had flown around more than a million times, but it always got her excited. She just loved the feeling of it. The gray, reptile like wings slightly spread out behind her; just big enough to fit through the window.
"I'm not going to drop you, Naruto...not by accident anyway." she added the last bit as a joke, and grinned wider than ever.
"Let's go!"
Satoshi leaped through the window, dragging the blonde along behind her. She jumped pretty far by using a small burst of chakra at her feet. As soon as she felt the air rush around her she parted her wings, both reaching out horizontally to more than twice her height on either end. She easily pushed against the wind current that was blowing in the opposite direction and broke through. The homes and buildings were the size of her fists now.
"So how's it feel? You're first time flying, right?" she called out loudly, the strong breeze playing wildly with her short black hair. Her stomach suddenly growled again.
"Ugh...hold on!" She immediately increased her speed without warning.
