Shu knew something was up. He could tell by the way he was acting. But, Shu acted as though he was oblivious. His eyes widened slightly when he “surrendered”. He deactivated his Chidori and the clones stopped. He let out a dry laugh.
“Nice try, but, Naruto never gives up. It's his ninja way. Sasuke-sama told me that one. He said you don't quit or give up. You give it your all everytime, no matter what. Doesn't matter if you're injured, sick, or out of chakra. You still fight. Besides, I'd rather forcibly remove the bell than to accept it!” He yelled as the clones ran forward, while the real Shu hung back.

He grinned and raised a tiger seal. Within an instant he was behind Shu, leaving the clones in a daze. He left a clone in his original place to occupy them.
He raised a kunai to the back of Shu's throat. "You're quite smart for such a young kid."
With a swift kick to the back of Shu's knees, Naruto tried to fell the boy to the ground and place a knee on his back to keep him pinned.
"The art of deception doesn't get past you -ttebayo, eh Shu?"

Shu poofed into smoke when Naruto kicked him, leaving a log in its place. Two hands reached out from the earth under Naruto's feet. Not only does he know high level jutsu, but he specializes in earth element jutsu.
“You're right Naruto-sama. It is hard to fool me.”

Tch...he's quite the quick thinker...
Naruto could only stand as the hands crept into a grip around his legs.
This time...
A thick veil formed over Naruto's body. Chakra formed near his rear into a tail and chakra pushed upwards from his head to form long foxlike ears.
"Kch..." He allowed himself to spit up the blood that began to fill his lungs from constantly opening the Kyuubi's chakra stores.
The whiskers on his face became a menagerie of thick lines. Three thick black lines on each cheek complimented the demonic red eyes of his and his growing fangs and claws.
I'll have to be faster to make up for his mind. Stronger...
He pushed himself back to his four legged stance, pulling forwards, ripping the shadow tendrils from his body.
The teen's foxtail lashed wildly, pulsing with it's evil red chakra.
Hehehehe...it's about time you actually use me for real...not just stealing my chakra.
"I'll make the move this time!" Naruto's voice grated against the Kyuubi's deep scratchy tone.
He lifted a hand and sent it down, causing a clawed handlike chakra to reach out for Shu, flailing around, trying to punch him. He sent a pulse and aligned it to Shu.
"I won't kill you...." Naruto smirked, sending chakra pulse after another. "But you'll wish you were dead..."

The minute that the red chakra began to surround him was the minute Shu initiated his plan. As soon as the hand reached for “Shu”, the clone exploded. The real Shu appeared about fifty feet away. “I've been wishing for death for five years now, but now I have a reason to live! I'm not backing down!”
Shu knew that unless he could push out more of his bijuu, he'd lose. Then again, there was that technique... But, he could only use it once...'I'll use it as my last option' Shu thought, as he gathered his chakra to release another tail. He closed his eyes and concentrated.
But when he opened them, he wasn't at the training field. Well, his body was, but not his mind. He stood in front of a giant cage, black mist coming from between the bars.
“Nice of you to visit me...” a familiar voice said. “Are you, Ryukami?” Said Shu nervously. “Is that what you mortals named me? That is not my name. My real name is Osoreru, the ten tailed bijuu. What do you want?” He asked. “I would like to know, if you can lend me enough power for the second tail.” “You interest me, boy. Fine, I shall lend you my power. Use it well.” He said fading.
Shu closed his eyes and when he opened them, he was back. He could feel the chakra surging through him, then abrubtly leaving. The darkness left his body but his features remained those of his first form. His tail disappeared, as well as the aura.
Suddenly, he felt a great pain and went onto his hands and knees. The aura blasted outwards creating a gale. It got smaller until it just surrounded him. He got on all fours, similar to Naruto, as two tails came out. “Ready?” He said with a fanged smile.

He snarled as another tail pulsed it's way from the chakra points near his lower backside.
This is as far as I'll go in terms of tails...we're equal now..
The blonde pulled up two hands and slammed them into the ground and lifted them with a pull, ripping ground and causing an open crevice behind him. Through the crevice an enormous red hand climbed out, rushing through the air and slamming down into the ground, shaking the earth from miles around.
"Aghhhh!" He twisted his body, ripping the ground and throwing a chakra powered boulder forwards. "Tchh.." He felt his shoulder ripped slightly from muscles tearing away.
Careful now boy...don't want to break another arm...
But Naruto could no longer hear the Kyuubi. He didn't need his advice. This would be Naruto fighting...not Kyuubi.
"You WILL pass this test if you want to call yourself a Leaf Shinobi! Show me that you are worthy to carry the Leaf headband!"

Shu smiled and flickered behind Naruto. “Dai Endan!” He yelled, shooting a huge stream of flame at Naruto. He then flickered away, yelling, “Tajuu Kagebunshin no Jutsu!” And creating one thousand clones. They all used Rasengan, and ran at Naruto.
Now that Naruto used his second tail, Shu thought about using that technique. He has only used it once before, and it uses ninety percent of his chakra. However, it was highly likely that it would succeed. To use it however, he has to revert to his original form.
The aura left him, and he returned to normal. “Mangekyou Sharingan.” He said, as his eye changed. If his clones didn't work, this would have to do.

"Hehe...." Naruto smirked as the fire was engulfed in the Kyuubi's chakra. "I thought I already explained that fire jutsu won't work against the Kyuubi's chakra..."
He lifted another hand and slammed it down, bashing into clone after clone.
"This old trick? Clones won't work against me, even if they're shadow clones."
The blonde gazed towards Shu, watching closely as the boy's eye changed.
Not good...

“Just getting you a little tired.” He then stared at Naruto. Itachi taught him this move. The only one of the three. “Amaterasu.” He said coldly, fire surrounding Naruto. Now he couldn't get out. It was over. And if Naruto touched the fire, it would continously burn no matter what. It would burn through his chakra. He then fell to his knees. He had barely any chakra left. “Throw the bell over to me, and I'll extinguish the flames.”

"Oh shi--" Naruto could only crouch and pull his chakra tightly together enough not to get caught by it.
This isn't good....he might be able to reach your cage if I get touched by Amaterasu..
Well? You have the sealing scroll, don't you? One of those forbidden sealing things?
Yeah but...
But what?....AHAHAH, YOUR OUT OF CHAKRA AREN'T YOU!? YOU FOOL!
Tch...if I pushed myself to seal it, i'd be well open to attack. But he's down and out for the count as it is....he's COMPLETELY wiped....guess I have no choice...
Naruto summoned his chakra back instantly and pulled a scroll from his pocket. He pulled it open quickly and send a swipe of blood across it. He drew symbols on it as fast as he could.
"Evil Sealing! Control!"
The seals on the page moved and burst from the page, wrapping around the fire and pulling it inside. The scroll snapped shut and Naruto pocketed it, exhausted.
"Heh...this has got to be..." He leaned on his knee, trying to catch his breath. "The most intense fight I've had in awhile. The role of Hokage doesn't entitle much action, -dattebayo..."
He pulled himself to his feet, careful not to collapse. He approached Shu, slowly but surely.
He went down on his knees a bit, and reached out a hand. Inside his palm lie the bell.
"I cannot believe you brought a fight this far. So much for a simple spar, hehe." He paused a moment, smiling. "Congratulations. You are worthy of your title of a Leaf Shinobi."
