Ji was getting closer to Tenshi. Finally, some hand to hand action. And he doesn't seem like the type who can take it. He smiled at the thought. It seemed he was doing quite well in this fight, as he hasn't spent any precious chakra to dodge or attack with yet. Not to mention the translucent smoke couldn't hide squat.
Including invisible beams of concentrated air.
As he was only a few yards from Tenshi, he noticed a disruption in the smoke between him and his opponent, quickly nearing his position. "What the f-" he thought aloud, but an instinctive thought took over his actions. He stepped just out of the way of the beam, and heard the awful sound of grinding blades against earth far behind him. The arena wall behind had been pierced by the wind. Recognizing Tenshi as a Fuuton user earlier pretty much saved his life. Not to mention the translucent smokescreen had allowed him to see beam ahead of time. Thanks Tenshi! he thought with a chuckle.
Now with that mess out of the way, Ji made his move. By now, he was only a couple feet form the rock upon which Tenshi stood. He continued his run, the rubber soles of his sandals gripping the edge of the rock. Only a few inches from Tenshi, Ji would attack. He would swing his kunai horizontally across his opponent's stomach, cutting through his fishnet tank top and deep [1 1/2 inch] into his flesh. This time, he would use some of his great speed in the swing of the blade, making his movement almost untraceable.
C'mon baby, draw some blood! he wished, blood lust influencing his actions.

Tenshi had this guy right where he wanted him, he just didn’t know it yet. Ji thought just because he could get close he would have an advantage…that was anything but true. Tenshi was a prodigy since birth, he was the envy of man and the lust of women, he was everything. Ji doesn’t stand a chance. Immediately after firing the beam of wind Tenshi took a battle stance upon the rock. His left hand was brought forward in a fist, his right hand was closer to his chest, and his stance widened slightly upon the rock. His grey eye’s didn’t miss a single beat, observant as always he watched as Ji somehow managed to dodge the jutsu and prepared himself as Ji reached the base of the rock.
The two clones were right at Ji’s heals. Sidestepping the beam had taken him out of stride while the clones were still running full speed. As his opponent reached the rock and began to take the first step towards the rock the two clones were to reach out and grab the legs of the apparently oblivious man running with only one apparent goal in mind. If they did succeed in grabbing Ji, Tenshi would bring his right fist into his face with the force of a hammer. If for some reason they didn’t grab Ji, Tenshi would trigger the seal between his shoulder blades releasing his wings, and bring them around in a defensive position while simultaneously activating Divine Armor. If the Kunai were to come into contact with the wings the electrical current would run through the metal conductor into Ji with enough voltage to paralyze him on the spot.
Name of Jutsu: Kamitate [Divine Armor] Rank: A Element: Raiton Description: Tenshi can funnel raiton chakra to the set of wings upon his back, causing them to harden and course with electricity. The electricity is potent enough to cause temporarily paralysis, along with this the wings have an un-natural solidity that has yet to be fully understood by Tenshi. The mystery probably lies with the fact that the wings were given to him by a spirit. Exclusive: Tenshi

Ji was so close. Sooooo close!
Ji watched his opponent prepare himself. Hmm, now he's getting into it Just as he was at the base of the rock, he felt a pair of hands grip his legs, temporarily immobilizing him. "Sonnova..." he muttered. They must've caught up with me when I dodged.
Just then, Tenshi had sent a fist straight at his face. Unfortunately, Tenshi didn't seem to take into account that he still wielded a kunai. In fact, he hadn't moved it from its initial stance, with its butt against his chest. As the punch was swung, Tenshi attacked as well. He used his own incredible strength to dig the blade of the kunai deep within his opponents attacking hand, as well as stop the punch all together. He would use his, as well as his opponent's, force to dig the weapon deep between Tenshi's middle and ring finger, pushing it almost through to the wrist. Oh, was it wedged tight! It would take quite a bit of force to rip it out, not counting working against the pain of slicing through the nerves and muscles again.
He would keep his other hand back as defense, incase his opponent would use his free hand for any schemes, and would glare angrily at his opponent. "Sneak attacks? That's low. That's very low."

OOC: I do believe if you were to have your legs grabbed out from under you while running, you wouldn't be accurately jabbing your kunai at my fist. To me it seems like you would lose your balance and face plant into the big 6 foot rock in front of you, just my thoughts on the matter.

OOC: Wait, so now the rocks are six feet? When was this? In fact, when was the height ever mentioned beyond "medium to large"?
Anywho, your post argues with your request. I was originally going to argue about the fact that your clones are made of wind, making them weightless if not also unable to do any damage beyond jutsu or making a strong breeze, but either way it works. Because if they have the weight to stop me by grabbing my legs, I would actually just be stopped.
So your clones grab my legs [where exactly on my legs do they grab? That could be crucial in a future fight] but they don't appear to be moving. They're dead weights, but unfortunately, they would be unable to stop me. Check my profile if you don't believe me. Ji's a Taijutsu master with arms strong enough to lift an average man with a single arm. [in Naruto, that would be about 150lbs since everyone can be super strong, yet not have the muscle mass to match] His legs are twice as strong as his arms, making them capable of lifting 300lbs with each. That's more than double your's [and apparently, your clones'].
Now, I'm going to assume you've almost fallen before, no? Your body instinctively tries to level itself out. So when the weight was added to his legs, the fear of falling would force him to level himself [easily thanks to Tenshi's light weight]. So no, he wouldn't fall. In fact, as I posted, he would only be temporarily be immobilized. That's because he wasn't expecting to exert the extra weight for the two attackers clinging to his legs
Lastly, I would be able to hit something coming head on [literally]. I mean, I'm keeping my kunai at my chest, just like at the beginning of the fight. It would only require a straight forward jab. Nothing quite significant or specific about it. You'd try to immobilize, whilst going in for a powerful punch. However, it ultimately would result in the loss of your hand.

OOC: Running and having your legs grabbed has absolutely nothing to do with being able to lift 300 pounds, which is completely irrelevant in the entire situation. I don't see what point your trying to prove, and yes the height of the rocks were mentioned in the ANC Tournament thread. So basically, you spent probably half an hour trying to argue over something that doesn't apply to the situation. I play sports and can lift well over 200 pounds with my legs, yet if someone grabs them while i'm running that doesn't make a bit off difference. The result is the same....you'd fall.

OOC: So the strength of a character's legs has nothing to do with someone trying to hold them down? By their legs? Say what?
You can lift over 200lbs with your legs? You mean squat? When I say lift, I don't mean pressing. To be able to LIFT 200lbs with your legs is the same as being able to balance a bar of said weight on your ankles, and lift with just your legs. So, in the end, Ji can work against a 300lb resistance against the lifting of a single leg.
When you get your legs grabbed in sports, how much does that person weigh? I'm guessing more or less than you. If you have someone pulling against your legs with all of that momentum you've got going on, you'll fall because that energy wants you to keep moving, but the resistance will keep you from reacting properly.
However, if you CAN work against the resistance, you most likely will not fall as you can catch yourself. Besides, your clones aren't even pulling. Either they're holding my legs while I run, or not moving at all as a dead weight. That means NO resistance besides their weight. And being able to lift 300lbs with a single leg means I could drag the 145lb clones around town. However, realistically, I would be momentarily immobilized. If you get handed a heavy weight, one that you KNOW you can lift, your arms drop slightly. Amirite? That's because you're as never prepared as you believe. That is what happened to Ji, as he wasn't prepared to be slowed by the clones.
I apologize for the misunderstanding for the rock. Lack of reading on my part.
FYI: I know I write alot. It's just me. I sometimes have to limit myself so I don't overdo it. But in these types of situations, I tend to flood info into everything I post.
