Silence, the greatest weapon against a human. Animals were a different story. You could be mute and a cat or dog wouldn't care. A human, however, has a desperate need to talk. That was one thing of many Kitru Yuuhi was trying to study today. Humans have a strange desperation to know what the other is saying. Most people got annoyed at it, yet... Kosi was a quiet person. He was often more quiet than actually talking. Yet, if he knew someone, would open up to them... he would sometimes speak more than he would around a new friend. Leery, yes; safer, definitely. He hated facing the fact that people had a strange liking to the albino male. His eyes were the main thing they stared at, confused. He'd shut his eyes and laugh through it; it'd never bothered him before. He doubted it would ever get too bad. Then again, only 1 in 2,000 people ever born are albinos, and some people were even born with the opposite of albinism, a disease that made the colors darker in the pigments. Looking up, Kosi was instantly amazed by the lightning in the sky not too far away. It was dark already, but he loved watching the electric hit the Earth like a toy. What a show it provided. Looking at it, his gold eye, the undamaged one, scanned the sky, and he felt excitement flow through him as a flash raced to the ground like a game. He felt no rumble, but hear a deafening boom a moment later. It made him smile, to see something else not having to talk to be accepted.
It felt so strange to contradict yourself for so long. He sighed lightly, his eyes closing as he did; he didn't mind the rain that was starting to drip on his flesh. It was cold, and it hurt; but it wasn't anything he wasn't used to. Years after the abuse of his father, the damage was still alive, still painfully real. Still scared of older men, and still scared to be open toward anyone that got too close. ".. Beauty that so few want to see if often the most amazing that one can begin to understand." He smiled to himself, enjoying the show from his perch on his apartment building. He felt the rain dripping from his chin and fingers, a drop hitting his bottom lip... it was nice to feel a bit of pain. The rain fell a little heavier, one drop after another attempting to soak his body to the bone. He smiled, for he knew that rain would win that battle. It was only one battle he wouldn't mind loosing. "I know you're there. What do you want?" His voice was soft, yet so dangerously quiet that it proved to have his wanted effect. It often made a chill go up the spine of people. Especially after they saw his eyes and the scars littered across his body. His shirt was off, and he knew someone from behind could see the deep cuts in his still fresh attempts to make himself feel numb. They were inflamed from the kunai that dealt the slashes, each seeming more frantic than the last.

Tenten stepped out from where she stood around the corner of the roof, rubbing her head. "Hehe, so I guess you're a little more perceptive than I thought." She said, smiling at him as she approached, sitting next to him. Her clothes were soaked, and the twin buns atop her head glistened with the water droplets cascading down. She looked a little concerned, despite her smile. "What are you doing out here in the rain, kid? You're gonna make yourself sick." She looked him over, already having gotten over his oddities when she'd seen him from a distance. Now, closer, she concentrated on his scars. It seemed like maybe this kid would want to hurt himself... want to get sick. "Ya know, I'm a bit of a weapons expert here in the village... and I can think of hundreds of better uses for blades." She looked away then, staring out over the village, toward the Hokage Mountain.

He looked over causally as the girl walked out. "Well, if you're so great with blades, then tell me what type of metal did these wounds. It wasn't the normal type in kunai." He took a step back, to look at her fully. He waited a moment for her answer, then looked back to the storm. He didn't plan on getting ill. He only loved the feeling of pleasure with pain as the rain beat him, and the pain surged his body. It made him remember things in the past, some he couldn't let go, and some he hid entirely. He looked at the storm, a loud crack signaling it was getting closer. This was his favorite part about the village; he was often alone when it came to the most beautiful times. However, he had not planned on someone finding him. Nor did he expect anyone to actually engage conversation with someone like him. His voice seemed to soften, yet held the broken tone. His soul had irreversible damage. That was one thing most people caught on to. His gold eye watched the storm, then looked back at the girl, seeing her watching the Hokage Mountain. It wasn't something he looked at too often, but he deeply wanted to be on there one day. The death of Naruto was a great personal loss for him, because he had seen the man who got his dream, then died for it. It scared Kosi a little, yet... He knew family was the key.
"It's a silver kunai. It belonged to my mother." He slid it from his back pocket, showing it to her. It was clean, very well made, and had a strange marking on it. The young male didn't like how she had talked down to him, but he kept his mouth shut. He despised the fact most people just gawked at him... it drove him crazy sometimes. At least she wasn't doing that.

Tenten looked at the blade with admiration. "That's an amazing tool you have there. The workmanship and care put into it is obvious." She smiled, then frowned. It truly was a beautiful weapon, and generally that would excite her into a frenzy. But in this situation, its beauty only made her more sad. "Your mother... she'd probably want you to be safe. That's what I'd imagine." The truth was that Tenten's life had been fairly devoid of hardships. The most misfortune she'd known was her frequent lack of inclusion in missions when she was younger.

Kosi felt his heart freeze when she spoke of his mother. "She wouldn't care anyways." His tone went ice cold, and it was shown easily through his eyes, even if one was blind, that her mentioning of his mother was a wrong move. He looked at her again, his feet making close to no sound. With little wish to cause harm, nor and ill will, he just smiled at her. "Sorry... I prefer to stay off that topic. These wounds aren't as serious as last night's." He showed a smile toward her, like nothing was bad. Like he hadn't slit his wrists like they were meat. He looked at her body, she was soaked just like him. He felt a stinging pain start in his wrist as he felt a drop of rain strike an open, still dripping wound. He slid the kunai back into his pouch and watched Tenten. He didn't know her personally, but he had a lot of hard time trusting anyone. He still didn't even trust Tsuande, his own sensei for the past three years, after he had become a Chuunin. Kurenai even commented about his attitude toward others as cruel love. That quote made him smile a little more, then he scanned Tenten. She had quite an array of weapons on her. She wouldn't be a wise choice to upset. Kosi was the worst person to get mad. It took a long time to break that shell of ice, but if someone did, Kosi would never let that person live.
His own codes would be shattered, yet so delicately they'd be repaired. Just like a child's toy that only needed some stitching. He really was a dangerous person, one that should never be pressed. That was why Kosi had liked Naruto; the Hokage never let anything bother him. Kosi wished he could be like that, hide his hate, and just be happy. Yet, he couldn't. "I'm guessing you're upset at me. Why, though, if you don't even know who I am?" He was a little confused at her... the wounds did look horrible, but each was laid over a hundred smaller ones. Ones that showed they were once like the ones he now wore.

Tenten grimaced, shaking her head. "You're a member of this village, and an inheritor of the Will of Fire. When I look at those cuts, and know that they were caused by a Leaf shinobi in a way that brings us no closer to peace, it upsets me. To look at the youth of this village and see pain... It makes me feel like we're losing. Like what the Third... Tsunade... even Naruto-kun..." she paused there, obviously having unresolved pain over the loss of her friend. Mustering her strength, she continued. "Like what they stood for is dying out. Every wound you lay on yourself is a wound that you lay on the heart of the village... A village I vowed to protect." She stared him in the eyes, hers now glassy, but strong.

He stayed silent for a moment, then sighed lightly. He didn't want to say what he thought, because most people would hate him for it. It slipped out, against his will. "My will has been destroyed by my life."[/i] He bit his lip the moment it slipped out, then he walked closer to the edge of the building. It wasn't a suicidal move at all, just a gentle move to get a little distance from the girl. She was a passionate kunoichi, but he himself had little experience around most people. He watched the storm as it started to go overhead, making him wonder just what he was doing out here, talking to a girl. One that thought ill of his choices. That didn't make him very mad, it just made him so confused. Kurenai knew he did cut, but she wasn't a very close person, though. And Kosi was scared he'd let on more about what he was really thinking. Looking back at her, he showed little emotion in his eyes. A few tears fell from his strange eyes, mixing with the rain that had become more heavy. He doubted she's notice the tears, since they were silent. Nothing made him more upset than letting someone see his tears.
Ironically, the rain seemed the calm when his tears began to fall. He felt it ease up, and he looked out to the village itself this time. "There's nothing you can do."[/i] This time, his voice cracked a little, but it restored itself. He blinked away his tears. He knew she had seen at least one fall. He didn't want her seeing any of it's brothers. His tone was harder to hear, softer, more damaged. Like he was hiding inside himself.

Tenten stood, approaching the kid. "Like any flame, the Will of Fire can be rekindled. As shinobi, we must persist through the pain." She put her hand on his shoulder. "It helps to let it out, and I know that sadness seems like weakness to most people, so I tend to try other things." She grinned widely, backing up a few paces. "If you'd like, I'll show you the way I like best. Let's have a friendly little sparring match. It always makes me feel better."

Kosi winced as pain surged through his shoulder when she touched him. It was a burn like needles. A final tear dripped from his eyes, then when she backed up, he shut one eye and looked up at her, a little confused. "I'm not really a fighter. I hate to do it, if I can help it. I don't like hurting anyone." He frowned, a bit scared of himself. This woman was... being so kind. It was strange for him to actually feel a little... comfortable? No, he forced the silly idea away. "Well, if you insist, I guess we could. But I don't really like to fight too much, unless something makes me snap. And, well, that's why I graduated to Chuunin... I snapped and nearly killed my opponent. Sensei was proud of me, but... Well. It still hurts that I nearly killed my friend. At the time, that is." He looked at her, confusion laced in his eyes. His blind eye showed more emotion than his eye that worked... the scars were nearly blended with his flesh, yet they still were a sight to see. It was one thing to hate your body, but to hate your soul was different.
He hated that he cared for everyone and everything. Sadly, that had cost him so much already. "I don't want to kill you on accident. Nor do I want to die." He felt a little scared, to be honest with himself. He never fought without using his Tsume Ookami no jutsu, and he'd easily hurt her... That made him want to hide; hide and die.
He felt the stinging of pain from his memory, when he had told his sensei about that... Kurenai only shook her head, and didn't know what to tell him. He never spoke his feels since, for fear of his own destruction. However, it obviously was already happening.

"Don't worry, kiddo. I won't hurt you, and I'm a Jounin, so I can defend myself." She said, pulling a staff out of one of her scrolls. "You just need to learn to control your power. Fighting through the urges is the only way to do that." She pointed the staff at him. "Everything will be alright. I promise."
