Gurotsuki was caught off guard by the original's attack, and was blasted back by the force of the wind, rolling hard across the ground and dropping one of his wakizashi. Chi himself was then faced with an aerial assault, which he responded to by lining the staff up to his elbow, them palm-thrusting it up into the air like a ballista missile, aimed straight for Kogashu.

Kogashu was hit by the flying staff, and was knocked off balance, sending him sprawling into the dirt. He got up and wiped the blood from his mouth, and sent the remaining 30 clones to attack while he rested. The ten hanging behind, however, drew kunai and wrapped them with explosive tags.

Gurotsuki stood, gripping the wakizashi he still had with both hands. Rushing in at Kogashu from behind, he made a slash at the man's back. Chi, unaware of the exploding tags being wrapped to kunai, continued to fight off the clones unarmed, relying now solely on his monkey taijutsu. He flipped and kicked, twirled around and struck upward from the ground, appearing very monkey-like as he fought. He had now become quite wet from the destroyed clones.

Kogashu flickered away from the summon, appearing behind the ten. He gave the go ahead, and they all charged at the summon, explosive tags lit. They were going to blow themselves up to take out the summon. They ran at the summon, and a hue explosion rocked the land, sending dirt and rock flying. Kogashu looked on to see if his attack worked as he saw the rest of his clones were gone.

Chi looked to Gurotsuki just in time to see the suicide-bomb assault, and without hesitation released the summoning, sending the gibbon home. He did so just in the nick of time, as the explosion followed moments after. When the debris cleared, it was only Kogashu and Chi remaining, one on one again. "Sure, just because I splash a hundred of your close personal friends, you want to blow up one of mine... Typical."

"I bet...you are a bit tired." Kogashu said, breathing heavily himself. He was at almost 30%, and extremely tired. "You're good. Better than me at least. But, how would you fair against a bijuu?!" He said, a crazy glint in his eye. The green Sanbi chakra began to swirl around him as he allowed for some to leak out. He disappeared, and then appeared behind Chi, aiming a powerful punch at his back.

"Bijuu? You've got to be-" Chi's statement was cut short by the powerful strike to the back. He was sent tumbling end over end, finally managing to roll to his feet and knuckles, hurting from the strike. "Good Goku that hurt!" he said, holding the place on his back where the strike had hit. "There's no way I can fight off a tailed beast as is. Why of all people did I have to encounter a jinchuuriki?" He sighed. "Guess there's no choice." He stood, tender from the hit, and performed handseals. "Rise of the Monkey King!" he called, and suddenly he grew mutton chops, his hair grew coarser and untamed, and he sprouted a tail. His feet morphed in shape, becoming like a monkey's, and his canine teeth grew into sharpened fangs, like that of an ape. He plucked a hair from his head, and performed a second jutsu. "Arsenal of the Monkey King!" he said, and the hair transformed into a double-glaive polearm, which he held in front of him, readied for an attack.

He stared at Chi intently as he changed form. He got stronger, and so could Kogashu as the visible turtle cloak around him formed, with one tail sprouting out. Once more he disappeared and reappeared behind him, struck, and then flickered to the front, struck, left, struck. He then backed up and shot a tremendous jet of water from his mouth.

Chi blocked the last three strikes, but was hit by the first, and that was enough to cause some damage. It became very obvious that the opponent's strength was still growing, where as Chi's had leveled out. As the large burst of water was fired, this time Chi was able to escape it with his enhanced speed. Plucking another hair, he activated his only other Monkey King technique. "Monkey Clone Jutsu!" the hair then transformed into an exact solid copy of Chi, and the clone activated its own Arsenal of the monkey King, creating a giant hammer. The two rushed in at Kogashu from either side, Chi swiping at his midsection with his glaive, and the clone swinging down with the hammer.

Kogashu looked at both of them, and the chakra cloak attacked on its own, sending two green hands flashing towards the enemies. He leaped into the air, and blew a huge gust of wind above them, capable of creating a crator. He would not lose here. No matter what. He then landed behind them, and blew another jet of water at them.
