As the hands closed in, the two rushed at each other, using the other to rebound up and back, avoiding the cloak's strike. However, the wind strike caught Chi, slamming him to the ground. Despite landing safely, the clone was hit by the water attack, skittering across the ground. Luckily, this clone was strong enough to stay intact. Each stood, battered. The clone charged in to attack once more, though it was mostly a diversion. The original Chi activated Summoning Jutsu again, this time calling forth an old Proboscis Monkey sitting cross-legged on a rock and smoking a pipe. Chi kneeled, speaking. "I really need some advice here, Shiju-sensei. I've gotten myself into a mess with a Jinchuuriki, and my abilities are maxed. What do I do?" The monkey opened his eyes to look at the opponent, then gasped. "The Sanbi? What were you thinking! You won't stand a chance if another tail appears, you fool! Not even in the Monkey King form! You have to escape!" With that, the monkey disappeared, afraid for its own safety. Chi turned, worried. "Maybe if I can get him right now, before that other tail... If not, I guess I'll have to tuck tail and run." He too then charged the jinchuuriki, tossing his glaive end-over-end like a giant buzzsaw.

Kogashu could hear their conversation, and began to raise his chakra levels, but did not show his second tail yet. He leaped over the attackers, the chakra cloak hands raking the ground behind him trying to catch them. He landed far behind them and roared, sending a gust of wind in their direction. Monkeys or not, he would crush them all.

The glaive was blasted off-course, but the two managed to escape the blast, rushing in at the cloaked opponent. Chi activated the Monkey King Arsenal once more, this time to create a large ceramic bomb. Lighting it, he kicked it hard over to the clone, which redirected it with a swing of the hammer in a direct course with Kogashu.

Kogashu smiled at the ceramic bomb as it hit him dead on. The smoke cleared, and two tails were plainly visible. He disappeared and reappeared in front of the clone, attempting to swipe at its face, and possibly destroy it. He could feel his mind slipping from the power of the second tail. If this fight wasn't over in thirty seconds, he would begin to rampage.

As Chi looked on at the clone being utterly decimated, the hair it would normally return to upon destruction withering and disintegrating from the sheer power of the demon, he realized something in a fairly unmistakable way. "Well, I tried." With all the force he could exert, he bounded in the opposite direction of the Jinchuuriki, knuckles pounding against the ground at high speeds as he scampered on all fours. Luckily, a complete lack of shame left him with no qualms about tucking his tail between his legs in retreat. He was by this point well used to bloodthirsty, powerful shinobi trying to kill him. His son's true father saw to that. He just hoped he could actually manage to escape this time.

Kogashu stopped in his tracks when the other one began to flee. He quickly began to focus his mind to seal up the chakra before it was too late. After a few seconds, the second tail left, leaving only one. His mind clearer now, he continued to focus, sending the tail in and the chakra cloak disappeared. He stood up now, preparing to send the last of the chakra inside. He did, and fell to his knees from sheer exhaustion. This ninja...was probably the most powerful ninja he had encountered....to make him go two tails....He allowed the ninja to flee, it was his reward for giving Kogashu a good fight.

Finally free of the menace, and aching from the encounter, Chi found himself even more lost than he'd been previously "God, I wish I could just get back home and get some much-needed deep sleep! Where am I?!" He sighed, looking up from the ground he'd been staring at for hours out of sheer exhaustion. As he looked up, he smacked himself in the forehead. He was now looking up at the incline leading to his home on Kaka-zan. As he made his climb, witha bit more fervor now, he called up to his wife, Natsumi, exasperated. "Honey, you have no clue about the day I've had."
((Finished methinks, unless you have something else you want to post.))
