Ah, the power through tears. It was one thing Kitru himself knew best. He watched the midnight sky heavily as he laid a hand on the blooming sakura tree. He let himself cry tonight, and they were falling much like the stars. Yet, he had so little emotion in him, that he just didn't feel it anymore. The tears were silent as they ran for escape, like a demented monster was chasing them. He shook his head and shut his eyes, trying to remove the memory of his stepfather... Kitru still dreamed of it, the abuse, the pain... the screaming torture and rape he went through. "He... he's never gonna leave me alone." He bit his lip, and felt his teeth slice though it on accident, making him wince. He didn't want to feel any more pain... Pain brought his memories back so much, that he wanted to scream it all away.
But even a scream did nothing for a dying heart. He wasn't a person to be made upset. He swore, if someone as much as pissed him off right now, he's snap. And that wouldn't take much. Sighing, he laid his forehead against the tree, his white hair draping over his eyes. The one that could see shut, the blinded and scarred one seemed so far away. Just like he was looking into his own past. He couldn't trust anyone... no matter who it was. That was what he learned.
And sadly, it was also why he had become such a great Shinobi. He thought he heard someone's feet moving toward him, but he hoped he was wrong.

Surely enough, the boy's ears did not deceive him. Soon Rikiddo's hand could be felt on his shoulder as well. "You must have quite a fire blazing inside of you to need this much moisture to halt it. If you'd allow, I'd like to help alleviate your sorrow." He smiled gently, but with sad eyes. "Nothing pains me more than the pain of the village's youth. Is there anything I could do to ease your pain? If you need an ear to borrow, I have one I can lend."

Kitru felt the hand touch his shoulder, the burn making him want to bite his lip. However, he knew better. It would be bad to tear into his lip more, and he already tasted the crimson liquid flowing onto his mouth, drop by drop. He shuddered with pain from the man's touch... it wasn't anyone's fault the young one's pain had boiled over. Kitru was hard to break through, and frankly, he was shocked at himself for even letting his tears fall. He couldn't see the person who had touched him, for his blind eye was facing the person. He could see their chakra, and he saw the color was a softer tone. He was sad, but at Kosi's own pain. Forcing down his tears and calming himself, he looked up, his face moving over to look at the older male. His eyes widened at the sight of a male, and he instinctively backed up.
"It's not your problem. I'm not a child." He ha a strong tone, yet his voice was cracked. True pain was deeply intertwined in his voice, like a painful stitch that wouldn't heal correctly. fearing males made his pain worse. Yet Kitru couldn't see past his sorrows.

Rikiddo folded his arms behind him, a sign of submission and harmless intent. "I am sorry. I suppose I'm just getting on in years, and I see even those of your age as children. I may not seem it, but I'm actually 38 years old. But again I apologize. A chuunin of any age is no child." He was still in his ANBU garb, having just gotten back from a mission, his mask tilted on the side of his head. Because he was not wearing his kimono, he had no qualms with kneeling on the ground. "Your hostility toward me is clear, and I can sense that my assurance that I mean no harm will have no effect, as it seems your hostility isn't directed at me personally. Is it because I am ANBU?"

Kitru watched the male, unsure what to even say. "I'm not scared of you. I just... I don't like males. At all." He blushed against his will, the blood easily seen. He was still embarrassed by the fact he knew he couldn't help himself... it was such a harsh way to live. Yet he fought so hard to keep up his act. His little jokes...
He watched the ANBU, unsure. "I'm not the open type. You could be an assassin for all I know."

"Males? That is an unfortunate distaste, as it makes up half the world." He stated, looking concerned. He looked at Kosi with still-sadder eyes. "Unfortunately son, I am an assassin, if it is the will of the Hokage. I have killed and mourned more men than you've likely met. My loyalty to my duties is the only thing strong enough to trump my hatred of such pointless loss of life. Still, I would never dream of harming you. I wish only to help."

"Yeah, help. That's what he said, too. And I've got countless scars from both him and myself." He watched the older male, scared out of his mind. Yet, the tone he was using was a bit calming. In a way, he wished Tenten was there, even if it was just to tell Kitru that this guy was okay. That this guy wasn't going to rape him and call it a joke compared to the rest of the painful set-up. He watched the man, not sure what to say now. Then, he shut his eyes. His gold eye wasn't really hurting, thankfully. His pale flesh glowed a little from the moonlight, a blossom falling on his nose when he looked back up. He blinked in surprise, as it laid silently on his nose. It made Kosi calm down, his chakra relaxing in his body.
"I'm... I'm Yuuhi. Kitru Yuuhi. I don't often... talk to males. I have a bad... history. I bet you have killed more men than I've even met, seeing as I can't seem to calm down around a male unless I'm going to kill him." He bit the tear in his lip, eager to feel pain and pleasure at the same time. It wasn't often that Kitru talked to people like this. So shy, so... delicate. It wasn't a tone he kept in his voice, if he could help it.

Rikiddo looked up to the tree. "Beautiful, isn't it? This time of year especially. This is the season where people will gather beneath these trees and watch the petals dance as they sway toward the ground. Sometimes, there is beauty in falling down. With these trees, we know they'll soon be bare and exposed, but it is not to become vulnerable. The petals are cast down so that it can survive against the harsher elements. It is because the tree is exposed that it is able to muster the strength to flower again." He then looked at Kitru. "You know, Kitru, you remind me a lot of this tree. The only difference is that you will not cast off your petals. You cling to their cover, and cannot heal because you will not be exposed."
Rikiddo looked to the ground then. "Then again, exposure can bring pain, and one who has lost a part of himself could never bear to lose the rest. Only through trust can one be exposed, and trust does not come easily. Still, I wish for you to trust me, and as such, I will lay my truths to bare, if you wish me to."

Kitru listened to him, unsure what to say back. "But... I'm not who you think I am. I'm not a person to waste breath on. I don't think anyone would cry if I died." He sighed, then looked at his wrists. He had his shirt on, but he could still feel the deep slices that laid under the thin silky long-sleeve. He sighed, this time more quiet. "I'm not scared to love. I'm scared to love others." He shut his eyes, the petal falling off his nose and falling into a puddle from the rains earlier. He felt a tear drop from his nose, hitting the petal. It didn't shatter, but had a darker color where it touched the warm liquid.
"What's your reason for telling me your life story? To convince me to tell you mine? It won't work."

"My tears would be for you, Kitru. I have mourned even the deaths of my foes. Human life is not something that should ever be lightly lost, and as my comrade, especially being younger than I, your death would be a monumental loss, and a terrible tragedy."
He paused for a moment, and sighed. "My story would serve only to show that trust can be safely extended, and grow when held. My soul would lay bare to you, and I'd trust you not to cause me suffering for it. Your secrets are your own, and I could never expect you to reveal them in something so petty as a trade. If I knew of another way to show you my truest intent, I would do it."
